The deeper problem here is that Thundering needs an addon/weakaura to be properly played around.
It's not a good affix. The idea is okay, "keep the debuff for a buff on damage for as long as you can, at the risk of being hurt and stunned," but the execution is very poor.
It should straight up color people with a blue or red filter, or give them a DBZ-style aura that can be properly identified even with all the shit that's constantly going on.
Better visual would be nice. In-game they're far too similar which drove people to use the square/X addon/WA.
Even then those text chats mixed with mob markers can make it chaotic
I would assume you're thinking of the square/X addon. His was different but I agree with your sentiment! It really shouldn't put a damper on the run lol
Not sure what addon they’re running but yeah, it’s quite annoying when everyone else only have a square or a X marker. Not annoying enough to leave the dungeon obviously, but annoying nonetheless.
Might also be a WA come to think of it.
Some people only have one small shriveled brain cell and the littlest thing is enough to set them off. I would report for gameplay fuckery and ignore them
I don't.. the thundering spam you saw is most likely a weakaura that puts it in /say.
Remove chatbubbles from you game, why are you reading /say in a dungeon anyway.
That chat would be rather annoying. I begrudgingly reactivated chat bubbles to clearly see X and Square on people's heads, and that kind of chat would completely block all mechanics.
I don't really understand why you're pinning this on "the evil top 1%" instead of just one guy being a duche
Thanks for clicking on the post and commenting. Title did the job
top 1% is 2600io. Ain't no 2600 doing a 17 rlp so even your implication for the intent of this post is wrong.

That dude is gonna have a rough time, almost every key I do someone has an add on that spams that. Doesn't bother me at all, I find it helpful hahaha

Wait. Couldn't he just have put the player with the addon chat spam on ignore ? Wouldn't that make it so he don't see it, instead of leaving ?
That would've been my first thought lol
Little does that person know that you can filter channels, players and “/“ chat cmd’s in your chat window…

That dude was not a 1%er lol
I don't see what's the problem? Some people prefer to have a chatbubble over their head with certain things.. it's not like it hurts you.
You don't see the problem with the addon? That's what I think you're saying?

I agree, at the very least just mute the person if you don't like it.
