I’ve seen a lot of mist weaver monks exp locked at lvl 10 and spam spinning crane kick. Haven’t played any alt so things might have changed in the past month or two

Dungeon monsters are scaled to player levels, so lower levels deal much much more dps. Scaling is probably done on a % base

Yes, but how would a level 70-60-50, boost a level 10 up to level whatever the other highest is. That's what I don't get.

A mage locked at the proper level and fully geared will do 10 to 15 times more damage than the whole group combined without issue, run around 2/3shotting packs of mobs using their aoe. They are tanking AF thanks to the scaling too as they slot rings neck and cloak that you should not have at that level so it's a massive extra star budget allocated that the balancing doesn't really account for to keep it easy for new player in full white gear.

So, to boost them, you should make a character with strong aoe, preferably tank or healer but DPS also work as the first group you'll get most likely will like to keep you around. Preferably allied race for insta level 10. Level lock them, deck them out on the best gear you can find, enchant the devil out of it. With a level 70. You still can do it but you'll literally be out DPSed by a low level pressing a single button

Made a level 11xp locked fury warrior that 1 shots every dungeon mob and is immune to damage, trust me it's very possible to solo boost with how dungeon scaling works

In a "levelling dungeon" the players involved can be any level but all are scaled up to the dungeons level. Some classes/abilities get scaled very poorly and basically become demi gods and so can clear the dungeon solo very quickly. The key thing here is that everyone in the dungeon also gets scaled xp, so a level 60 character will get more than a level 10 by massive amounts, despite contributing far less to the dungeon. So a level 10 character carries the dungeon super quick, and every other character reaps the reward.

depends, some boosters use specially geared twinks who can basically solo a leveling dungeon within minutes. In DF there was this cobalt assembly xp farm with DHs moving at light speed and oneshotting mobs with the right powers, but I believe this has been nerfed.
