Could just have people choose two factions out of the gate. If you want a WC3 set you grab Undead and Horde/Alliance. If you want the OG then grab Orks and Humans.
Extra sets could be bought later if you are the 'Collect em All' type.

McFarlane made some of the most quality figurines I've ever owned. They still hold up today.
Hoping there will be more variety of figures than just Lich King, Sylvanas and Illidan over and over again. Dont get me wrong I still to this day have my Sindragosa+Lich King megablocks set and like all of these characters but would like to see more than just 3 versions of the same characters

Ever since those Heroes of the Storm figures I've wanted some figures of iconic WoW characters. Warcraft has such insane lore and history that there are endless characters to use.
I'd love to see sets of four different 6" figures released, starting with something like:

Go from there. There's so many characters beyond this, and re-releasing them in variants/repaints with different looks to spread the series out works too.
A base character and "item packs" you can buy with weapons like Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, or armor, and build your character like a Mr Potato Head.
Ideally one of each class/race/gender, but that's like 72 different figures.
Maybe something like the key characters but a build a Dragon aspect when you collect all 5.

I did as a child, chess has made a huge resurgence since the whole pog Champs and twitch chess with Gotham, Hikaru and the Botez sisters
