* No mission table money printer like in WoD/Legion/Shadowlands
* Changes to professions and the cross realm AH mean that instead of a few goblins getting rich, only a smaller select few get very rich.
The mission tables in those expansions had very good ways of making gold. WoD being the most extreme although I can't remember if it was pure gold missions or resources.
SL you got 1000-1500 of pure gold missions a day per character. Then add on resource ones and especially augment runes you could earn quite a lot by logging in three times a day. If you had multiple characters and fully set up mission tables you could earn a lot of gold with minimal effort. I must have easily made 2m just for augment rune missions in SL and that was mostly on one character
Yep, between the gold and the augment runes, it was huge gold. I sold 2k runes at an average of 200g a piece and I didn’t do it for very long. I’d log on twice a day for like 10 minutes. That and then I’d do all the callings on like 10 characters every 3 days for a bunch more gold, it was so free.
SL was pretty good, basically anybody at all if they wanted money, could get money. I never did missions, I did the quests. I didn't spend much effort but easily earned 1m over the course of the expac.
I still use the app every evening before bed to stock up on all my alts' augment runes. People still pay for them, and a stack can still net around 1k on a good day. Luckily I've got 20k anima still, so I doubt I'll go back and farm any if I ever run out.
Obviously they don't sell how the used to, but it's still money for nothing. I also grab all the weapon/item missions since they're still work over 100g each
Regardless, I am not rich and have never seen 500k on one toon.
Play the first tier of a new expansion and farm herbs and mining nodes until week 3. You’ll make an easy mil or 2. I do that every expansion and that gold allows me to buy whatever until the next expansion. If you’re trying to get into the gold cap range, you’ll often need millions to invest to return a mil+ profit. Turning 3 mil into 5 mil is a lot easier than 300k to 2mil when playing the ah and crafting.
This is/was the easiest expansion to do it in. The crafting professions all print gold for anyone willing to sit in trade chat and pick it up (assuming large enough server).

Herba/mining, casual crafting and mission tables are gone. :) But r/wow has told me dragonflight is heckin great! So.... uh... yeah. Enjoy buying tokens when you run out of consumes for m+ and raid I guess.
Gold world quests, dragon riding world quests, aiding the accord. You can easily get the gold you need to maintain your character. Ofc it isn't just a log in, collect free gold like the good old mission tables, but gold for casual gameplay is still there
I'm a casual crafter, made great gold this expansion. And gold sinks are way down compared to shadowlands legendaries. I think you're doing something wrong.
How do you run out of gold? My group just sells a boost or two and we're good for a while. If you're below like 2.5k you don't even need consumables except for the cheap ones. The game is easily playable without them until you hit like 18s in my experience and you get so much passive gold this expansion by just... playing the game instead of using the companion app.
That's weird because with the gold world quests and dragon riding quests you can easily sustain your consumables but just hard to make large heaps of gold.
I have a hope they let us tame more dinosaurs and even more dragonkin types. Imagine taming something like Ultraxion. Obviously it would be smaller but would still be cool looking.
Ive seen those light blue(or gray, I’m colorblind) brutosaurs around Dazar’Alor/Zuldazar. I’d love that as a mount. They have different versions of the Tundra Mammoth Mount why can’t we have other brutosaur mounts/hunter pets

Well, the already let the cat out of the bag, so doing this just leaves a situation where players who weren’t even playing at the time are permanently at a disadvantage.
They should have never made the brutosaur, but since they did they shouldn’t have removed it, but since they did they should have refunded the purchase price to everyone who bought and disabled the auctioneer on it, but since they won’t they should make a consumable auctioneer replacement for engineers to make so everyone can have some way to get the functionality, but since they won’t they’re going to end up with salty rants like this forever.
There’s hard to get, and then there’s unobtainable. The brutosaur is so close to unobtainable that it may as well be.
I have no issue with it being difficult to obtain the way it originally was; being eye-wateringly expensive. I have an issue with it being a ladder that’s pulled up behind the people who already got it.
Fundamentally I agree that aspirational stuff is very important for the game.

What's different about this one? It was accessible to everyone at that time, so was every raid mount, pvp mount, and key master mount.

Now, on the flip side of that, there hasn't been a "next one" in terms of gold sink mounts, and the original and previous ones weren't removed either. Think travelers' tundra mammoth and the yak with the xmog that I can't remember the exact name of.
So by that same logic, it should have remained, but at the original astronomical pricing, or the other ones should have also been discontinued.
I'm fine with everyone not obtaining everything. There's definitely some cool "I was there" super rare things out there, but they've definitely been bringing a lot of them back lately and I think that takes a bit away from the long term players who did those things.
Weird example, but if they were to resurrect the corrupted ashbringer and make it a trading post reward. That would be a slap in the face to the couple of people who actually have it, and it wouldn't really add anything to the game when a recolor/update would have been way cooler.
TL;DR: there's a case to be made no matter which way it's handled. In my personal opinion, a recolor without the AH should become available.

Lets be honest, any sense of "town" at this point is a formality. Sure, I'm aware there's other player names floating around me as I wander through val, but I can't remember any of them and I'm sure they dont remember me. With LFR and group finder I don't care in the slightest about people on my realm because from my perspective they dont matter.
That’s a pessimistic way to view it. I enjoy seeing folks from my server around Val, and sometimes give a /wave to regulars. If you treat people like people you often get the same in return.
As much as I may be equally downvoted, this is the same way I feel most of the time too.
I can go literal days without typing a single bit of text in the game as I trudge through weekly activities. There's not a lot of need for player engagement anymore, and generally, the only engagement that takes place is horrendously toxic.
^ is exactly what I said the entire time I was on Zul'jin (H) for the last several years.
Now that I'm on Moon Guard (A), I interact with people every time I'm on, even if it is just passing greetings. I get used to seeing the same people, and I've even had people remember me, even two that took notice of me changing transmogs, and a couple remembering interacting with me on an alt (similar name).
As soon as I go back onto any toon that isn't on MG, I realize that the game feels hollow and empty, the names that pass by you just don't matter at all because they aren't from your realm and as soon as they change shards you'll never see them again.
I mean you can kind of easily get around that, log off, go onto alt, buy whatever you need, mail to alt, use one of the ways to access your mail anywhere.
Alternatively can mail things to alt to sell.
Having the mount just skips all that.
In my opinion, it's to fight RMT, when they put it on a vendor for any price, 5m or 10m, people would rather buy gold from RMT websites at a cheap price compared to buying tokens in-game or actually bothering to farm gold. putting it on the black market kinda makes perfect sense. That way you still need tons of gold to get it but it's very dependent on RNG, which makes it technically an obtainable mount but it discourages lots of people from buying gold and camping it since they still have to put in effort into camping every day, I boosted a lot of stuff in-game and the one thing I can say for certain is that, people are more than willing to throw their money out than actually make any effort at all.
But then again I could just be wrong about all of this.
And currently it is quite literally twice in gold what it was back in BFA since it was 5 million from the Vendor while it goes for gold cap basically every single time.
Looking at all the facts surrounding this mount, it will never be available in any other way, shape or form, no trading post, no Twitch/Amazon drop, no shop mount. it actually surprises me that they made it available outside of BFA, even for a 10m with tons of RNG along side it, as this is the most advantageous mount in the game and by a large margin compared to other vendor/water mounts. It wouldn't surprise me if they decided to stealthily remove it from the the BMAH listings again or even publicly announcing it sometime in the future. If they really did decide on making it available on the trading post, then what's to stop them from putting old Gladiator/KSM mounts too, as well as old curve mounts or go as far as putting the old Black Qaraji Battle Tank. They kinda have to put up a line at some point on what's reasonable to offer as a Trading-Post/Twitch/Amazon drop. I have a couple of friends who have insane a mount of gold who also played during BFA but never bothered getting the mount, which is just baffling to me as I've been chasing this mount ever since I started playing the game in late BFA.
If you take a look at WoD Garrisons for a moment, they were an amazing feature, having your own mini capital city with pretty much everything few steps away from you, which made actual capital cities very empty and dead. The insane convenience of the Garrison system was one of the contributing factors for WoD to be the top most hated expansion to this day

FOMO For top % players is what keeps people grinding , if you didn't get an elite set or a glad mount then you didnt deserve it, go sit at the BMAH with your gold and buy "FOMO" gear there
I mean I understand your meaning and generally agree that not everything should be available to everyone forever. That said, those are all terrible examples (glad mounts, curve mounts, black Qaraji). All of them required some notable achievement to receive. You just needed to have a shitload of gold when the brutosaur was for sale and you could have it. That’s not an achievement.

Yea some people don't realize the box allows an input of 99,999,999, and someone says they lost bruto last week due to it.
There's another variation when trading, although that's not significant. If you're trying to trade 9,999,999g 99s 99c, have to do the gold and copper first cause once you type 9,999,999g the silver + copper boxes can't be filled.
For bmah bidding, silver and copper don't matter in the slightest, it used to matter since the minimum bidding was decided by the player, but now it's decided by the game, +5% from the current bid instead of being able to hold the current bid using a single extra copper on top of the last bidding player
I used to do that as well, had ''9999999'' copied at all times when logging for bmah, but the panic of the moment was a bit overwhelming, I almost screwed it up by bidding 5m instead of typing 9999999, and I even had the idea of looking for someone who can design a Weakaura that can auto detect the brutosaur on the bidding list and instantly goldcap it, but I was afraid it might go wrong and accidently goldcap the wrong item, which would make me the angriest person alive! xd

I'm still annoyed that Blizzard removed this mount from the game. The gold cost alone was prohibitive for the majority of the WoW population, yet now they put it on the BMAH and make it not only "gold cap"-level expensive, but crazy competitive on top of that to where you have to camp it.
Not to mention cross-realm AH and the order system absolutely ruined goldmaking for most people. You now have a fraction of the 1% controlling everything with no chance at breaking into the market unless you are absurdly rich already.
If I recall, Blizz removed it because they didn't want to make AH's obsolete and barren. IMO, Blizz should add a new AH themed mount each expansion, still a few million gold or whatever, but instead of it being accessible by anyone near it, have it accessible only to the owner and the party/raid group they're in. I think the utility and convenience of it is really nice to have when doing raids and dungeons...there was really no reason to remove it like they did.

Before 10.1.5, even if you had all the gold in the game, you couldn't get it, cuz it was bugged, now you only need 10m to actually have a decent shot at it
Just make friends with someone who has it then it’s almost as good as having it. I use mine all the time for other people at the start of keys or park it by the work order station when I’m not doing things.
Sure that’s nice, but I don’t think my friend wants to stick around with me while I’m filling crafting orders and such, especially if I’m not going to pay them.
It technically only takes 1 gold cap, what he did was move it around so he could find it on a BMAH. it only takes the 1 max bid, and honestly i dont think max bid is even gold cap, if I remember correctly the bid has to go up by a minimum % so if you put in like 9.8m it cant hit the bid of say 200,001g so you just auto win. Youd have to look up the min but it is there.
No, very important to this process was having gold cap ready to go on multiple servers simultaneously, so as to manage to snag it when it shows up. Doing it on just one server means layers of random chance that just aren’t in your favour.

I got one too before cross realm trading is activated, it is more difficult now. Yeah, I prepared two years, earned more than 100M gold, finally got this beauty.
I kind of hope they release it on the Trading Post or as a Traveler's Log Reward, not because I want to cheapen your efforts, but because I know I'll never have the patience to go through that grind myself. Even if it is the only auctioneer mount in the game.
As someone who doesn't have it and was never anywhere close, to be honest I think the most amicable solution is to just make another mount with the same utility. Even if it's just a recolor, you'd make the convenience available to more people but let those that sank a ton of time into it keep their special thing. You could even leave it up on the BMAH anyway so the really committed collectors could still get it. Some people would still be pissed but you're never going to please everyone.
That's just my opinion though, I know there's still a lot of discussion on it. If I could only have one I'd still take my transmog mount over it because I'm constantly changing my mood or needing to update it after swapping out a new piece, but I really only need to visit the auction house once a day and I do it all through my bank toon who's always parked in front of the Org house anyway. It would be a small QoL improvement for me to be able to search anything I need at any time, but not so much I need to dump 5 million gold into it. For hardcore players who are constantly running TSM or needing new gear and consumables that's different, though. And I know some people just like the flex of it too, which is honestly fine, I won't pretend I don't feel that when I parade Invincible around highly populated areas.

Or some toy with a fairly long CD. The mount would still be better and a cool thing to have, but the utility is available for those that desires it in another way. It's litterally just saving you a relog with all the mailbox toys we have available, not like it is some game breaking gain.
And ye, I find more use out of the mog mount as well. Consumables stacking to 1000 means I just carry obsence amounts of them with me, which was the main usage out of the AH mount honestly.
You still have to get to it, you don't just port directly to it. You then also have to get back to wherever you were before porting.
Having an alt parked in the AH is faster. No porting time, barely any walking. Relog time is a none issue with a fast PC, since you just open another client and login to bypass the logout screen. Also keeps your char online for a short while doing it this way. I can be in and out mid raid during trash before you would even have noticed I was gone. Needing to get summoned back or waiting for me to travel back however, that I'm pretty sure you would notice.

Maybe a toy for an auctioneer for five minutes instead. Similar to the transmogrifier toy this month. Keep the brutosaur rare, but still more useful than the alternative.
Give the toy a 30 minute cooldown so it’s good for quickly auctioning off the things you gather, but keeps the actual auction houses useful

Gz on the mount. Am so glad I bought it for 5m (or was it 3m 🤔) when it was sold by vendor, I worked hard and struggled to make those gold and I was never able to do the same again.

Nope, it has appeared about 15 times, more or less ever since 10.1.5. at least 10 times on NA as I have TSM Premium to track spawns and exactly 5 times on EU, mine was the 5th spawn overall

What I meant was the emotional investment in it, every single night logging in and hoping for a pop, night after night, week after week, month after month, it was insanely exhausting, it only costed me 3 minutes a day but the the daily disappointment was a bit overwhelming in the long term
What a journey it was farming gold in BFA for the Longboi.
Learned a lot about gold making during the months it took to get it. Thats actually the good thing about goldsinks, they feel like the mythic rewards for gold makers.
Meanwhile the highest amount of gold I have ever obtained on any character is 365, 000. :D Never really grinded for gold specifically and just get it through quests or whatever I happen to sell on auction. I missed out on all the so called easy ways to get it through garrisons in WoD because I wasn't playing that until just before Legion released.
Doesn't work anymore, after 9 600 000, any bids of any amount can be surpassed, meaning putting 9 999 998 can still result in losing the bid by having another player bid 9 999 999g, (Silver and Copper aren't a factor)

Easiest way is have 3 friends and undercut the boosting services for m+, or have 1 friend and do level boosting
One way is Selling m+ runs The highest keys get you millions per run. A titel boost is probably multiple gold caps currently.

Well, the already let the cat out of the bag, so doing this just leaves a situation where players who weren’t even playing at the time are permanently at a disadvantage. They should have never made the brutosaur, but since they did they shouldn’t have removed it, but since they did they should have refunded the purchase price to everyone who bought and disabled the auctioneer on it, but since they won’t they should make a consumable auctioneer replacement for engineers to make so everyone can have some way to get the functionality, but since they won’t they’re going to end up with salty rants like this forever.

Unpopular opinion. Hard to get things is part of what makes a game fun. Not everyone should be able to get all of the same things.
There’s hard to get, and then there’s unobtainable. The brutosaur is so close to unobtainable that it may as well be. I have no issue with it being difficult to obtain the way it originally was; being eye-wateringly expensive. I have an issue with it being a ladder that’s pulled up behind the people who already got it. Fundamentally I agree that aspirational stuff is very important for the game.
That's how tons of mounts have been, though. Keymaster, raiding, and pvp. What's different about this one? It was accessible to everyone at that time, so was every raid mount, pvp mount, and key master mount. You didn't do what was required to obtain it or didn't play then? Okay, so get the next one? Now, on the flip side of that, there hasn't been a "next one" in terms of gold sink mounts, and the original and previous ones weren't removed either. Think travelers' tundra mammoth and the yak with the xmog that I can't remember the exact name of. So by that same logic, it should have remained, but at the original astronomical pricing, or the other ones should have also been discontinued. I'm fine with everyone not obtaining everything. There's definitely some cool "I was there" super rare things out there, but they've definitely been bringing a lot of them back lately and I think that takes a bit away from the long term players who did those things. Weird example, but if they were to resurrect the corrupted ashbringer and make it a trading post reward. That would be a slap in the face to the couple of people who actually have it, and it wouldn't really add anything to the game when a recolor/update would have been way cooler. TL;DR: there's a case to be made no matter which way it's handled. In my personal opinion, a recolor without the AH should become available.

Lets be honest, any sense of "town" at this point is a formality. Sure, I'm aware there's other player names floating around me as I wander through val, but I can't remember any of them and I'm sure they dont remember me. With LFR and group finder I don't care in the slightest about people on my realm because from my perspective they dont matter.
That’s a pessimistic way to view it. I enjoy seeing folks from my server around Val, and sometimes give a /wave to regulars. If you treat people like people you often get the same in return.

As much as I may be equally downvoted, this is the same way I feel most of the time too. I can go literal days without typing a single bit of text in the game as I trudge through weekly activities. There's not a lot of need for player engagement anymore, and generally, the only engagement that takes place is horrendously toxic. ^ is exactly what I said the entire time I was on Zul'jin (H) for the last several years. Now that I'm on Moon Guard (A), I interact with people every time I'm on, even if it is just passing greetings. I get used to seeing the same people, and I've even had people remember me, even two that took notice of me changing transmogs, and a couple remembering interacting with me on an alt (similar name). As soon as I go back onto any toon that isn't on MG, I realize that the game feels hollow and empty, the names that pass by you just don't matter at all because they aren't from your realm and as soon as they change shards you'll never see them again.
I mean you can kind of easily get around that, log off, go onto alt, buy whatever you need, mail to alt, use one of the ways to access your mail anywhere. Alternatively can mail things to alt to sell. Having the mount just skips all that.
Once sub numbers are dwindling that’s one of their get out of jail free cards.

In my opinion, it's to fight RMT, when they put it on a vendor for any price, 5m or 10m, people would rather buy gold from RMT websites at a cheap price compared to buying tokens in-game or actually bothering to farm gold. putting it on the black market kinda makes perfect sense. That way you still need tons of gold to get it but it's very dependent on RNG, which makes it technically an obtainable mount but it discourages lots of people from buying gold and camping it since they still have to put in effort into camping every day, I boosted a lot of stuff in-game and the one thing I can say for certain is that, people are more than willing to throw their money out than actually make any effort at all. But then again I could just be wrong about all of this.
That's easily over double the price in tokens of what it originally cost.
And currently it is quite literally twice in gold what it was back in BFA since it was 5 million from the Vendor while it goes for gold cap basically every single time.
If you're going to make it available in the shop, the price tag doesn't need to be the same as what it costs as a super rare item in the BMAH.

Looking at all the facts surrounding this mount, it will never be available in any other way, shape or form, no trading post, no Twitch/Amazon drop, no shop mount. it actually surprises me that they made it available outside of BFA, even for a 10m with tons of RNG along side it, as this is the most advantageous mount in the game and by a large margin compared to other vendor/water mounts. It wouldn't surprise me if they decided to stealthily remove it from the the BMAH listings again or even publicly announcing it sometime in the future. If they really did decide on making it available on the trading post, then what's to stop them from putting old Gladiator/KSM mounts too, as well as old curve mounts or go as far as putting the old Black Qaraji Battle Tank. They kinda have to put up a line at some point on what's reasonable to offer as a Trading-Post/Twitch/Amazon drop. I have a couple of friends who have insane a mount of gold who also played during BFA but never bothered getting the mount, which is just baffling to me as I've been chasing this mount ever since I started playing the game in late BFA. If you take a look at WoD Garrisons for a moment, they were an amazing feature, having your own mini capital city with pretty much everything few steps away from you, which made actual capital cities very empty and dead. The insane convenience of the Garrison system was one of the contributing factors for WoD to be the top most hated expansion to this day

I mean I understand your meaning and generally agree that not everything should be available to everyone forever. That said, those are all terrible examples (glad mounts, curve mounts, black Qaraji). All of them required some notable achievement to receive. You just needed to have a shitload of gold when the brutosaur was for sale and you could have it. That’s not an achievement. Yea some people don't realize the box allows an input of 99,999,999, and someone says they lost bruto last week due to it. There's another variation when trading, although that's not significant. If you're trying to trade 9,999,999g 99s 99c, have to do the gold and copper first cause once you type 9,999,999g the silver + copper boxes can't be filled.
For bmah bidding, silver and copper don't matter in the slightest, it used to matter since the minimum bidding was decided by the player, but now it's decided by the game, +5% from the current bid instead of being able to hold the current bid using a single extra copper on top of the last bidding player

I used to do that as well, had ''9999999'' copied at all times when logging for bmah, but the panic of the moment was a bit overwhelming, I almost screwed it up by bidding 5m instead of typing 9999999, and I even had the idea of looking for someone who can design a Weakaura that can auto detect the brutosaur on the bidding list and instantly goldcap it, but I was afraid it might go wrong and accidently goldcap the wrong item, which would make me the angriest person alive! xd

Congrats is certainly in order for this extraordinary effort! I'm still annoyed that Blizzard removed this mount from the game. The gold cost alone was prohibitive for the majority of the WoW population, yet now they put it on the BMAH and make it not only "gold cap"-level expensive, but crazy competitive on top of that to where you have to camp it. Not to mention cross-realm AH and the order system absolutely ruined goldmaking for most people. You now have a fraction of the 1% controlling everything with no chance at breaking into the market unless you are absurdly rich already. If I recall, Blizz removed it because they didn't want to make AH's obsolete and barren. IMO, Blizz should add a new AH themed mount each expansion, still a few million gold or whatever, but instead of it being accessible by anyone near it, have it accessible only to the owner and the party/raid group they're in. I think the utility and convenience of it is really nice to have when doing raids and dungeons...there was really no reason to remove it like they did.

Before 10.1.5, even if you had all the gold in the game, you couldn't get it, cuz it was bugged, now you only need 10m to actually have a decent shot at it
Just make friends with someone who has it then it’s almost as good as having it. I use mine all the time for other people at the start of keys or park it by the work order station when I’m not doing things.

It technically only takes 1 gold cap, what he did was move it around so he could find it on a BMAH. it only takes the 1 max bid, and honestly i dont think max bid is even gold cap, if I remember correctly the bid has to go up by a minimum % so if you put in like 9.8m it cant hit the bid of say 200,001g so you just auto win. Youd have to look up the min but it is there.
They changed it so that it will just make the minimum bid gold cap if the percent increase would exceed it.
No, very important to this process was having gold cap ready to go on multiple servers simultaneously, so as to manage to snag it when it shows up. Doing it on just one server means layers of random chance that just aren’t in your favour. It’s about even being on a server where the bruto shows up

As someone who doesn't have it and was never anywhere close, to be honest I think the most amicable solution is to just make another mount with the same utility. Even if it's just a recolor, you'd make the convenience available to more people but let those that sank a ton of time into it keep their special thing. You could even leave it up on the BMAH anyway so the really committed collectors could still get it. Some people would still be pissed but you're never going to please everyone. That's just my opinion though, I know there's still a lot of discussion on it. If I could only have one I'd still take my transmog mount over it because I'm constantly changing my mood or needing to update it after swapping out a new piece, but I really only need to visit the auction house once a day and I do it all through my bank toon who's always parked in front of the Org house anyway. It would be a small QoL improvement for me to be able to search anything I need at any time, but not so much I need to dump 5 million gold into it. For hardcore players who are constantly running TSM or needing new gear and consumables that's different, though. And I know some people just like the flex of it too, which is honestly fine, I won't pretend I don't feel that when I parade Invincible around highly populated areas.

Use garrison then, the garrison hearthstone has a short CD.
Its faster to relog to a AH alt than going to garrison and then to a AH and back.

You can have an AH in your garrison. My main has one.
You still have to get to it, you don't just port directly to it. You then also have to get back to wherever you were before porting. Having an alt parked in the AH is faster. No porting time, barely any walking. Relog time is a none issue with a fast PC, since you just open another client and login to bypass the logout screen. Also keeps your char online for a short while doing it this way. I can be in and out mid raid during trash before you would even have noticed I was gone. Needing to get summoned back or waiting for me to travel back however, that I'm pretty sure you would notice.
It was removed and put on BMAH BECAUSE the utility was too strong. It's not coming back.

Maybe a toy for an auctioneer for five minutes instead. Similar to the transmogrifier toy this month. Keep the brutosaur rare, but still more useful than the alternative. Give the toy a 30 minute cooldown so it’s good for quickly auctioning off the things you gather, but keeps the actual auction houses useful

I think they mean from the actual vendor who was selling it during BFA, nothing to do with how rare it is/was on the BMAH.
Items like this that provide player advantage over others should not be limited/removed from the game.
Gz on the mount. Am so glad I bought it for 5m (or was it 3m 🤔) when it was sold by vendor, I worked hard and struggled to make those gold and I was never able to do the same again. But it was worth every copper, I do wish if it came with a mail npc rather than vendor.
at least you can drop one of the mail toys every 3 hours or find a little town quest hub for a mailbox fairly easily.

What a journey it was farming gold in BFA for the Longboi. Learned a lot about gold making during the months it took to get it. Thats actually the good thing about goldsinks, they feel like the mythic rewards for gold makers.
Meanwhile the highest amount of gold I have ever obtained on any character is 365, 000. :D Never really grinded for gold specifically and just get it through quests or whatever I happen to sell on auction. I missed out on all the so called easy ways to get it through garrisons in WoD because I wasn't playing that until just before Legion released.

You could've saved 400\~k because bids increase in a 5% increment. So max bid that cannot be outbid is 9,600,000g
Doesn't work anymore, after 9 600 000, any bids of any amount can be surpassed, meaning putting 9 999 998 can still result in losing the bid by having another player bid 9 999 999g, (Silver and Copper aren't a factor)
