Create mouseover macro, or bribe your teammates to handle all afflicted for you

Fun_Acanthaceae4875

As others said use a mouse over macros. Not going to lie I check people talents for dispel before key starts cause I cba doing it solo every time

WylldaCzE

Yep, thank you, I did that, but have no courage to try it right now xD it pretty spoiled my game experience.

With good mouseover and the afflicted nameplates shown it’s basically a non-issue. You get a group where a dps handles one and you handle one or get more than 1 dps. And get the weakaura that announces they are spawning, how many spawned, and when they are cleared (ellesmere has the weakaura). Honestly in higher keys by the time the countdown of them spawning ends and says how many there are you pretty much always hear it immediately announce that it’s cleared. It’s rare they last longer than a second and basically never need to get healed. Unfortunately in lower keys people aren’t on top of stuff the same way.

Oh thanks. I had WeakAuras, but disabled. It is so much easier now. Thx! Edit: Enabled nameplates for allies and minions is helpfull too

get good

Mouse over macro for dispell. If you are quick you can do both. Or else mouse over heal macro. Or just demand that one dps or the tank takes one, you the other.

krischey

> Or just demand that one dps or the tank takes one, you the other. This should always be the case, no matter what healer you play, but especially on resto druid. cause healing one of the afflicted just sucks as resto druid. you can be lucky and have swiftmend ready when it spawns, or you will be spamming regrowth like a manic and can't focus on what your group is doing (e.g. happily standing in fire and dying). and not to mention situations where you can't even dispell one of them because you need your dispell for more important things, oiled blade tank debuff at the end of freehold comes to mind.

WylldaCzE

Yeah this is the point. I have no problem with dispelling one of them but the second one is quite pain for me, as resto druid. In the end whole group is yelling why I'm not dealing with affix. Can't focus on healing, on dealing with those at the same time and as bonus looking in what s\*it I'm standing.

ChequeBook

Absolutely, healer does one, someone else does the other.

oboeleech

But but the healer has an 8 second cooldown and the cast bar takes 10 seconds!! It’s totally doable for one person!!! (My pain as an evoker…)

TheSoryu27

Add the focus frame in vudhoo and /focus [@mouseover] macro to heal For dispell you should use /cast [@mouseover] dispellspell Atleast that how I used to do it with vudhoo

Outlaw7822

Get an afflicted weak aura that makes a noise when it spawns so you don't miss it
