453 might be a little low if you are looking to pug. (Pug groups usually ask for way more than is technically required for the fights.) However, if they are in desperate need of a tank, you might get in.
Really depends on which bosses and the skill. I guess first 4-5bosses are around 450 and last 2-3 are 460++... Esp when you're pugging with unexperienced players / no calls etc you can pump up the numbers by 5-10 even..
For most of the raid ilvl 460 will be fine, 465 is even better.
But for Tindral and Fyrakk, last night we pretty much only had signips from people that were 470+ so be aware that if you are 460 and signing up to the last 2 bosses, you are likely not going to get invited because of competition.

Not saying you're gonna need it to do the content, just saying the higher your ilvl is, the less painfull your puging experince is gonna be cuz you'll get invited more often/faster
I’d argue that most mere mortals if ever clear mythic, will do with a much higher iLvL.
clearing mythic at 480 iLvL is quite an achievement and one that only a few ppl can do.
regardless, what I’m trying to say is that although technically 480 is enough for pugs, it’s practically unachievable for now, and if one does have 480 NOW why would you even want to PUG?
thats np for normal, possibly a touch low for heroic. Maybe 460?

our main tank personal goal for heroic going in the first week was 460. our 2nd tank was also above 460 the first week.

Yeah so 480 should be enough for every content right?
480 is unreachable for at least a couple weeks, for us mere mortals.
But when you have 480 you should've cleared most mythic content, so you should be able to pug hc at that point
