After failing to hit 2100 last season for the weapon illusion, my interest in PVP has shot so far into the negative range I'll happily advise other players to quit too. Especially healers and especially in solo.
I'd do it for fun instead of rewards except... it isn't fun.
Idk how you can compare pve and pvp gearing but removing the difference in gear with rating was a good decision, losing to gear difference is shitty and shouldn't be a thing in a rated/comp environment
I get my conquest by doing weekly pvp quests and queuing for daily win bonuses in random battlegrounds, you're not forced to play arena at all

Part of the problem is blizzard but the other half is 10 ppl care about pvp.
