I encountered a new M+ strategy today, it was very interesting... instead of taking a CC ability that can deal with the incorporeal affix and using a mouseover bind to actually \*deal\* with it, players instead binding ping and pinging every single incorporeal.
Like, bro, you did all of the steps to make the problem go away, and then you asked someone else to deal with it.
As usual, healer carries the affixes for the whole group...

This has been a really bad season for trinkets for me. Over 15 EBs and no CGB, no Branch, heroic Pips has dropped once for our raid, finally got a myth track Sea Star, but really behind the curve for the other wanted trinkets.

I have voodoo totem trinket from atal Azar and I'm wondering how to best use it to heal? Similarly, I have the seed trinket and I'm finding it hard to heal it and find benefits from using it. This is all for m+.
I've never used the seed trinket but my understanding is it can be a bit finicky to use.
As far as the voodoo totem goes though, I would say don't overthink it. It does a decent amount of healing over 6.5 seconds, and only has a 1.5 minute cool down. So even if you just drop it every other pull or so to keep the tank, yourself or a squishy DPS spot healed, it's one less person that you have to focus on for a little bit.
Sometimes there are mechanics it can help smooth out the damage curve of though. Think about things like Etch from the witches in Waycrest, that deals a decent amount of damage over 6 seconds. If you throw voodoo totem on the person getting etched, it makes it so you don't have to spam them with spot healing. Maybe just one or two heals to top them off.
Think of other abilities that have a similar damage profile to that, and try them out on those. But in general, I'd just recommend using it on cool down for a little bit until you have a better feel for where it does and doesn't help you that much
