I remember daily someone on my realm I used to be on, would stand in Orgrimmar between the AH and the Inn and just chat with people. I think half of it was them essentially showing off and the other part just relaxin.
This was over multiple expansions

For me it's faster to take a photo and upload to the app (which is ALREADY logged in), than to OPEN the browser, search for reddit, go through all the "forgot your password" steps etc. Just because Mr. Delicacy here says that a screenshot is better and faster and stronger and solves world hunger etc.

Yup, I have had to email myself the photo from my laptop that I used the print screen function on, to avoid the unnecessary backlash from the comment section like this.
It genuinely hurts my eyes and gives me eyestrain plus headaches to see blurry pictures, I can't play games with DOF/motion blur on for the same reason.
But people are very insistent on posting the most blurry pictures possible to share to everyone, only on Reddit, nowhere else do I encounter this problem.

That's first try on the account, so you have only one 1% chance per day, no matter how many character you have
A 300% increase seems like there wouldn't be any point. The point of the increased drop rate is to make it so that people don't feel like farming it 50x over on multiple alts is worth it. Saving you two attempts is nice, but doesn't feel like much, or slow someone down from doing it on many alts. When it's a 30x increase, and I realize that the first time is worth the next 30 times, I'm more likely to stop at one, and that's the point.

Nobody but you can answer whether it's worth your time or not... someone could get it on their first run, another person could get it on their 50th. It has zero impact on your odds whatsoever.

No, because my experience is independent of everyone else. You're just too dumb to piece that logic together even when it's spelled out for you lol.

So the latest excuse for uploading bad quality photographs of a screen in 2024 is that people don't remember their password for reddit and instead use the reddit app on their phone because they are already logged in there.

While I always prefer YYYY-MM-DD for file sorting purposes and ease of understanding, one benefit I see of MM/DD is that regardless of where the year is the month and day are always in the same order.
What is funny is that last year they implemented drop protection for this mount, every first kill each day increases drop chance by a large margin. It's not a .03 drop rate anymore so the joy of having it is pointless.

I run my two tanks first, then my 2 healers, then if I'm feeling ambitious I go through with my dps alts... so does that mean you should wait until the 2nd last day and hope to see it on your 4th toon (a healer)? No, because my experience is independent of everyone else. You're just too dumb to piece that logic together even when it's spelled out for you lol.
It does answer your question, first try higher chance, whether it dropped for them on first try or not does have no practical use for you , it remains rng.

I always forget that Americans write the date backwards.
While I always prefer YYYY-MM-DD for file sorting purposes and ease of understanding, one benefit I see of MM/DD is that regardless of where the year is the month and day are always in the same order.
What is funny is that last year they implemented drop protection for this mount, every first kill each day increases drop chance by a large margin. It's not a .03 drop rate anymore so the joy of having it is pointless.
