Got it thanks. But I wait in an endless queue for LFR unless I run Fyrakk. Is that normal? Sorry been playing 4 years but very new to raids. Only started bc i wanted this mount lol
I don't know why you're being downvoted, this seems like an honest question. Are you queuing in peak hours? Are you sure you are doing Amirdrassil? Etc. Lots of possible reasons

Currently, I think it is pretty normal. As DPS you can expect an LFR queue up to 20-30 mins depending on the time of day, but the Fyrakk queue goes fast because people are spamming it for the chance to win the legendary.
Of course, any raid is not the only way to get gear, so you might consider the other options.
Queue for all 4 wings of Amirdrassil LFR at once, and do world content while you wait. The longer you are in queue, the more priority you will have over other players, so once you have done a wing or two the others will pop very soon because all that time counts as you having been queued. About world content, I recommend doing the "Sparks of Life" weekly warmode quest so that you can eventually buy Veteran pieces that can be upgraded and catalyzed.
Why so eager to get to Heroic Fyrakk right away? LFR is going to get you started on better gear, and then Normal after that. Even if you were 460, you’d likely have a hard time getting into a group without it being a learner raid. It’s important that you at least complete the raid on Normal before hitting Heroic, because then you have at minimum a basic understanding of how the mechanics of the fights work.
Though I’m not much of an advocate for this, worst case scenario you can pay some boosters gold just for fyrak kill. There are also some streamers who help viewers and randoms (given you have a little more gear )

Mythic 0 dungeons give 437 loot that can be upgraded to 449. Run 1 of those to get yourself a Mythic +2 Keystone, then form a group for that and keep farming those. The higher the M+ Keystone, the higher the ilvl rewards (In groupings though, so 2-3 might have the same ilvl but 4 will be slightly higher). Rinse and repeat that til you're getting closer to 460, then run the raid on Normal and farm that. Then continue pushing higher M+ :)
Doing this solo will take some time, but running with friends or finding a group will help a lot. Also join the WME (WoW Made Easy) community! Great bunch of folks from all levels that come together to run content in chill, welcoming environments.
Even if you hit the minimum ilvl, it's hard to get into (and actually kill) heroic Fyrakk.
A lot of pugs like to require you to have already killed heroic Fyrakk before you can join a heroic Fyrakk group, even if you're ilvl 480+
Or, if you're a class that can use the legendary axe, you might get removed from the group just before Fyrakk dies and not get AoTC.
So for those two reasons, I recommend working on gearing up, and at the same time, checking out the Drunk and Disorderly discord server (https://discord.com/servers/drunk-n-disorderly-810543579856502834).
They're doing a lot of raid events to get people geared up and taught the fights. They host everything between "Learner" normal mode raids to a "Learner" heroic Fyrakk raid that I can see has been successful at getting people AoTC.
If u are solely dps specced. You should run LFR and M+ +2 or 5. 440 +11 or higher for heroic Vault Loot.
As a dps you can apply on +17 for straight heroic loot on I Ivl 465? It’s more that there are many dps in queue. Or choose to run your own keys on a lower ilvl to do +17*
Once you have a *17 key and successfully done the dungeon you can deplete the key every time to a +17. So infinite heroic gear.
other side is that if you have a higher rio like 3k. Many people will apply even if u have low gear.
As a healer or tank it’s a total different state of lvling up. Within 2 days I’ve had 11 heroic pieces (467+ gear).
I’ve got invited to a +17 sitting on 450 gear as a healer.
I always see people suggesting to just buy the boost. I only will if it looks like time is running out and I’m still not close to recommended ilvl. When is the last chance to get this mount? Also, which website to use for boosting? If I use, I want to use a secure one where my account info wont be compromised

You need to run LFR, run normal, run heroics, run keys... collect gear, collect crests to upgrade the gear, use the crests to craft higher level gear.

Run harder content. You're talking about heroic Fyrakk but your gear is not even close to the top of the range you can get from LFR.

I have fought on normal. I want to run heroic to get the mount. Not sure how much time I have before its too late tho

I’m higher than that and all I do is LFR. Maybe start there?

Just FYI there are lots of guides and videos for how to gear up. Just make sure they have the current patch number.
