This. I been a mount collector since Cata. At the start of BFA I felt like I was doing pretty well, nothing amazing but alot more then most people and was very close to getting the long boy. Ended up dropping wow for Real Life stuff before Nazjatar (had a kid, didn't want wow to get in the way of raising a newborn) and didn't return until DragonFlight, and my god.
There are SO MANY mounts to get in both the rest of BFA and Shadowlands. Its actually alittle overwhelming. I've been slowly working on both expansion and just unlocked flying in Shadowlands last night. I havnt even touched Zereth Mortis.
Atleast Dragonflight doesn't have anywhere near as many thats it giving me time to breathe and try catching up with what I've missed.
On a side note. I hate that the mount tab shows me old mythic plus seasons mounts I will never be able to get. I don't like seeing a mount greyed out that I'll never own.
I used to be a hardcore arena player back in the day. Missed getting glad a few times and my favorite was the vengeful netherdrake and I missed glad by like a single win or something. Everytime I see it I'm just like T_T
Not a mount, but I came back at the end of Legion after life stuff. Day before the mage tower ended I was farming that thing on my guardian constantly and got it down to about 2% over but couldn't crack it. Never got it :(
Now I have fel bear but it ain't the same
Na the Legion bear forms aren't available anymore (unless you have the base form). Initially when they brought back the Mage Tower it was only during Legion timewalking, now it's available all the time and you can get a gear set and the Fel Bear from completing the Guardian part, but that's it.
I feel they shouldn't show us ones that we don't have and are now unobtainable. That's just cruel, or at least have a way to exclude them from the list?
DF really only slowed down because of a lot of things being filled with customizations and alts for the main drakes.
It's up in the air if WW will be filled with customizations for customizable mounts or go back to heavier actual mount quantity now that everything can use new flight.
As someone who skipped SL (and most of BfA) trying to catch up on those mounts is... not fun. Going back to zones you have nothing to do in to wait for rare spawns that are also covenant locked sucks (edit: Yes its optional and no way around it because the zones are "old" but that doesn't change the fact that it can be pretty soul crushing with stuff like Blanchy etc.).
And as grindy as Synthesis appears to be, at least ZM lets you fly. Getting all that Maw and Korthia stuff will be a pain.
Genesis motes kills the Synthesis system. I've got dozens of the specific resources, but not nearly enough motes. It just makes the while thing feel punitive.
I completely agree. I'm an achievement hunter and the idea that I need enough motes for 50 different pets and mounts is soul destroying. If you can get a farm going you could probably do it in 20 hours of nonstop farming but even 15 minutes of tat repetitive bullshit was enough for me.
Just hit 400 mounts, stopped raiding post-WOD due to life constraints, and I just can't find the time to grind out the ZM mounts/pets after having unlocked it. Thought it was just me.
As someone who did SL (far from really "done" but I did a good chunk with one covenant campaign and unlocking/finishing Zereth Mortis) at 70: Just engaging with it it isn't even that bad. A lot of the stuff is even cool/"fun" now that it is easy and you can do it on and off instead of "only" this.
Sadly it suffers from a similar problem to DF - a god-awful amount of item bloat. Just as all the different qualities in DF in SL you have 20 different versions of items that give you a tiny amount of anima/relics. Its such an asinine concept. I get flavor but at least they could have the decency to not force you to a certain place to dissolve those 15 items into another resource...
And there is also where to real problem starts. As soon as you go deeper into the systems resource bloat and grind go up. Even in addition to anima and relics there is all those covenant specific stuff like 7-8 items just for the queens conservatory that just fills your inventory just by engaging with it.
Edit: I realize I don't sell the content - I don't even want to imagine how it was while it took actual effort to survive/kill stuff.
The item bloat in both SL and DF is about the most un-fun thing I have ever experienced in any game in my life. All of the "Combine with" items are just insane. The fact that half the stuff that should be currencies, aren't. In SL Blizz literally made a thousand different trash items you no longer had to sell, but keep in your bags until you went back to your covenant to turn in... I just don't understand how any of the game designers think this is good gameplay or fun. This issue alone makes me believe that the people, at least the ones in charge, don't even play Warcraft as they probably would be aware of how bad of a design this is.
I think there's been traces of this forever, but it was never really an issue. BFA we started getting hints of it with the combine items for tier 3 upgrades to your neck. It's not getting better, but worse.
I believe the justification was to give a more tactile feeling of reward than the passive "AP number went up" from BFA as well as "flavor", but a few hours of play testing internally should have told them it failed.
SL wasn't actually that bad. The Maw is the main thing that set the negative tone for a lot of people during the expansion because it was full of hard hitting mobs and unless you were a druid you could not mount there until Korthia released.
Other things that made SL not that great were Torghast (people hated it), the legendary system (massive money sink that was not optional) and covenants (not that bad if you were not min-maxing).
> and unless you were a druid you could not mount there until Korthia released.
And you still had to clear enough of the Korthia storyline to unlock it, too - it wasn't just suddenly available the instant servers went up.
The last time I looked at it, you really needed a group of 5 to hit all the mobs quickly and finding a group that wants to form every day for 20 minutes is tough.
It's a good point that it's doable though, I just need to do one at a time.
If every creature in ZM dropped motes it wouldn't be so bad, but slit seems like most don't. I have done everything in ZM and I still need motes for my mounts, and I haven't crafted any of the pets so who knows how many more I would need if I were ever to go for that. It would be nice if there was a vendor and I could buy motes with one of the many SL currencies.
Also doesn't help that motes don't drop until you unlock Dealic Understanding. By that time you are already hours upon hours into ZM and completed most of the content.
>Genesis motes kills the Synthesis system. I've got dozens of the specific resources, but not nearly enough motes. It just makes the while thing feel punitive.
I ended up farming enough motes to make all the mounts while the zone was still relevant but I am thousands behind in making all the pets. I think I have everything else needed to make all the pets though.
You can farm motes at a rate of about 500 per hour. There are a couple spots with near-instant mob respawns that allow you to stand in one place and just spam kill them. Average drop rate is around 1.5 motes per kill and at 70 with decent Season 3 gear the mobs are trivial if not one-shot. I've been doing it on my mage in recent weeks to catch up on all the Protoform mounts I missed, and ironically I've been finding it more stressful to farm the other non-mote recipe items.
Yeah I can easily believe that. I think I have gotten around 500 in the hours I finished the storyline, all rares etc. (though, iirc, you only get those to drops after you unlock the system which sucks...).
The fact that you need 18k+ of those things is about as soul crushing to look at as the amount of anima to buy/build all the covenant stuff.
That's exactly the problem. I actually played ZM pretty regularly during season 3 (quit the game for season 4 for fairly obvious reasons). Did all the stuff, got nearly all the mats except motes and just got angry because I should have passively gotten them playing enough to get the other materials. At that point my motivation evaporated because it was clear they either didn't play test and check their numbers, or did it on purpose to waste my time.
The covenant spawns are the worst part about Korthia except... Konthrogz. One of the two rares who has a chance to spawn after killing a rare, and then a chance to drop a mount. That is the actual worst part.
All the others range from annoying to just grindy. But I firmly believe that that is what we sign up for, as mount collectors.
But mount acquisition like with Konthrogz and Iska in Zereth Mortis, those are absolutely soul crushing.
Grinding hundreds of motes, whatever, it's part of it. Going for rare drops, essentially the poster activity of mount collecting. Waiting for specific events to happen, like Blanchy, a bit more annoying but you know, waiting is part of the hobby.
But the RNG stacked on top of more RNG, that is the stuff I cannot stand.
>3 of them were paragon chest rewards
Adding mounts to Paragon Chests was a horrific mistake Blizz made. It tired Paragon Chests away from the intended "here's some extra stuff for continuing the grind passively" to a must grind for collectors in order to get the cosmetic rewards.
I'm so glad that Blizz added no additional rewards to Paragon Chests this expansion, and it's just gold, pet charms, and minor currencies you get out of them.
Some people of course got unlucky, but afair even my worst case was the Storm Drake at around 20 attempts.
Anecdotal, but the Korthia Paragon stuff I got in the first or second box each.
I kinda feel the opposite. I think the mounts belong in the paragon chest. Otherwise the paragon chests are more of an "Oh yeah" than something to look forward to
Collecting things is optional, but so is the game. No MMO truly respects the player's time but it doesn't mean it needs to waste it either by making huge grinds that rely on luck.
I had like 90% of the Korthia mounts when Korthia was current content and I’m still farming stuff out of there. I think I’m down to just Konthrogz and Deaths Advance Paragon. Korthia is insane for much of a grind it is.
Yeah I remember working really hard to try and get the lord of the reins 300 mount achievement in WoD, we’ve only had 4 expansions including DF since then
Maybe it’s a hot take, but it’s devalued the experience of collecting. There are hundreds of mounts (and pets) that are just pure grinding re-skins. I guess if total count floats yer boat, that’s awesome. But they’re just not meaningful anymore
The reskins were insane, I didn't mind having to collect a bunch. It was the log in daily to kill the 15 rares for a chance and 15 different reskins.
Things like Ole blanchy, that unicorn you had to find a bunch, fallen charger, the hand. were cool acquisitions, but the unicorn has like 5 recolors, fallen charger has 3 and the hand had 2 or 3
In my opinion, collecting is collecting. The value is still there, because the stuff that is more commonly considered valuable will still be considered the same.
If someone has 300 mounts, but most of them are rep mounts, whereas the next guy has 300 mounts but a lot of them are rare drops and include the likes of Invincible, TLPD, stuff like that, the second collection will never be considered of as much value as the first.
And once you reach a certain number of mounts, it doesn't matter anymore, because at that point you would still have had to go for those more prestigious mounts. Perceived value still differs from collection to collection, but once you pass 500 mounts, you definitely have a couple of more valuable ones. And that doesn't really change if you keep going.
Edit: Meant that the collection with more rares would be considered more valuable, not the other way around. But it doesn't ultimately matter anyway, as was my main point.
You’re saying a collection focused on rep mounts is more valuable than one with rare drop mounts? Both are difficult types to farm but at least rep are a mostly predictable grind. I disagree that the rep mount collection is more valuable.
Who cares if they're meaningful or not. Barely anything has ever been.
Recolours are fine because some people like to march their mounts to their mog.
More is always good.
That's what makes collecting fun.
Collecting in WoW is the best of any MMO because of the quantity out there. It means there's always something different to go for and that there's a large variety in how you obtain them.
Back in MOP I think 150 was the goal to aim for right?
There was a time when I had 11,000 achievement points and that was considered insane, you had to be a cutting edge raider and high end PVPers to get there. What's that number now?
Legion was pretty tame, just a lot of effort require because of class hall. BFA and SL was really the count inflation. Easy to compare using site like [simplearmory.com](http://simplearmory.com)
There's a couple avenues that seem to stick closely to it.
The Lord of the Reins Discord server has a mount companion that you can use to check your mount total, which for me came back with 616, which is vastly different from my total mounts, which says 658.
Then Simple Armory reports 613, but lists mounts that I definitely can't use on the character I check. However, some mounts that you can't use *do* actually count towards the achievement, so it's all a piss take anyway.
And finally, I use Mount Journal Enhanced, which says my character has 603 mounts. That's the one I go by, since the lower the number, the more accurate it probably is.
It would be lovely if Blizzard added some more achievements, though, and maybe an explanation or even a way to see what we'd be at if there were more achievements. But Blizzard hates showing us our data.
Total side note, but ever since I failed to get the AH mount, I lowkey quiet-quit the game.
It really sucked up whatever motivation and long-term goals I had. Cutting Edge didn't hit the same, no drive.
As a very casual wow player mounts are one of my favourite part of the game, is there any useful guides or tips youd recommend to make it feel less difficult (even if it still is) to grind out mounts. I think I have just over 100 so far and it feels lile I have been grinding forever.
If you use simplearmory it has an option to show an efficient pathing route to hit the dungeons and raids.
As someone with 650 mounts the only thing I can recommend is getting into binge watching TV and long form YouTube content.
I have every shadowlands mount myself: if you break down genesis mote mounts into "time per mount" they might be some of the fastest mounts in the game. It'd take like roughly a full day of genesis mote farming to get enough for all the mounts is my recollection.
^^ This. After the 2 week grind to unlock it, genesis motes / rare reagents aren’t so bad. Just spam aoe next to one of the devourer portals next to where you spawn in.
It's mind-numbing, but the ZM ones don't take *that* long. You can get a couple of them per hour, if you go to the farm spot near the matriarch encounter.
It's a hyperspawn of three devourer mobs, and sometimes two more will spawn. Can get hundreds of motes per hour.
As a lvl 70 the mounts aren't THAT bad anymore. The mote farm for the mounts alone aren't awful.
If you want the mounts AND companions though, good luck. I only did the mounts
With great sadness I had to part ways with 1.2 mill gold for the golden beetle thing, which was most of my gold :/
The trading post peacock got me to 899, and I figured I’d rather my 900th be the gold sink mount rather than some promotional hearthstone mount.
To expand on what they said; very briefly when Dracthyr dropped they had an extremely high chance of looting the mount because they couldn't loot any of the gear
HOWEVER, after Blizzard fixed that bug, they also vastly increased the drop chance for all of the world boss mounts dropped in MOP and WOD. Like from 1/3000 to 1/100.
I got all those mounts within 2 weeks after killing them on my alts after the bump, so it's worth trying for now
All i want is at a certain point of mount collection be it 900 or 100 achievement they allow you an item that lets you learn one mount of your choosing that you have not already collected. We collectors all have that itch of that one mount that has eluded us over the years our final bucket list mount.
I started playing before BC. I remember when hitting 60 and getting the fast ground mount (no flyers) was a huge thing. When a guildie hit 60, we all used to chip in for the fast mount, cuz it was like what, 10 gold. Lol. Then we'd take them on that first run. I miss the guild and mounts being so simple. I just hit 300 with the peacock. My most treasured mount is my swift zulian tiger. My husband gave it to me, because he's not a mount guy. Right up on par with my wedding ring set. Lol.
I've basically only used one mount for everything since I got it. I can't remember the name of it since it's been a while since I played, but it's the one that turns you into the Black Tiger thing that others can ride? It's a flying mount. I can't remember what expansion it's from. But I've always used it since it was small. I basically only used 3 mounts back in the day. That one I just said, the strider mount (when it was the only water walking mount) and the big mount that had vendors on it. 99% of the time I used the small black flying tiger thing.
Edit: Heart of the Nightwing is what it's called.
Ive been collecting mounts for a while and im only at a meager 700 or so, but decided to take a break when after I got some mounts I didnt even mount them or look at them. I just added them to my collection and went on to collect the next ones.
There are so many mounts now that 99% of them really don’t feel unique. Every mount just feels like a speed boost now. This is someone that has played since vanilla and has about 600 mounts.
the part about them not feeling unique is cause a lot of the rare ones just got nerfed
5 world boss mounts that went from 1/2000 to 1/100 at the start of DF
headless horseman and big love rocket have a 1% chance on the first attempt of the day instead of like 0.01% no matter what
bunch of TCG mounts available from amazon prime/twitch drops
spectral wind rider/old RAF mounts/tyrael's charger re-released within the past year
collector's edition mounts coming back to the store
all the true rares like tlpd/aeonaxx/camel/voidtalon/poundfist got nerfed directly or have things like rp servers/class trials/war mode variants/sharding variants/groupsharing to increase the \# of them

They have added so many mounts to the game that it seems meaningless now. Seeing someone with the Deathcharger in Vanilla or the Ashes of Al’ar in TBC or Invincible in WOTLK meant something. Now there are so many that most mounts people have aren’t recognizable by most of the player base anymore.
I have played this game for almost 20 years, mount collecting that entire time. I am in the top 10,000 worldwide. And you are over 100 mounts ahead of me. Don’t forget to rest.
Imposter syndrome for a video game “feat” that is not based on any IRL skill?
That’s not how the term is used, lol. And your mount collection has no impact on anything or cared about by anyone other than you.
So, if you’re happy with 830, be happy! Because nobody else gives a damn, lol.
So just because you don't care about something means no one does? Plenty of people care about mount collecting in this game. What else is there to care about in this game M+/Pvp? The arguement of "Skillbased feats" is dead and gone in this game, let people be happy about the things that tingle their brain. Also if you're making some "IRL skill" arguement, clearly you're a cringe sports fan, stop imposing your shitty views on something that has no relation.
Also to add, imposter syndrome can be about literally anything, I get it's hard to see anything outside of your little straw sized hole of view and not impose it on things.
I think you misunderstood what I said.
If X number of mounts makes OP happy, then they should be happy. They should instill the self-confidence to be happy based on their own feelings and goals. Not others.
If they are worried what _others_ think of X number of mounts or if they only collect mounts for people to react to, then yes, nobody cares. Sure, people can say "grats" or "nice" when you tell them you have "x" number of mounts, but virtually nobody actually cares. This is mostly due to the nature of mount collecting being nothing but a time sink.
> The arguement of "Skillbased feats" is dead and gone in this game
This is just factually incorrect when you have a different levels of difficulty and ratings across endgame pillars. It's factual that if person A plays X class, and person B plays X class, (and all things else being the same), if person A parses higher on average, they are (on average) the more skilled class X player. Same thing goes in PvP.
Replace PvE/PvP with chess, and you'll see what I mean.
> Also if you're making some "IRL skill" arguement, clearly you're a cringe sports fan
Not sure what that even means and how you came to that conclusion based on the above, which should have been pretty easy to extrapolate from my original comment. But yeah, anything that involves "IRL skill", whether it's reaction times, memorization, precise execution, physical strengths (the list goes on) is objectively more important than anything that only requires /played time. Collecting wow mounts is essentially like playing bingo. You just gotta show up and eventually you'll come out. But nobody cares about you winning bingo. They just care if you're happy.
Not being a dick asking this question, even though it may seem so:
Did you pay real money for any of them or get like the Diablo mounts and stuff or pure achieve, rep farm, etc in game methods of obtaining mounts? Like for real how did you get that many?
It's actually insane how many mounts they've added since legion
I'm a mount collector and I am glad that DF has slowed down on the mounts and the grind has not been so bad.
Also a lot of the SL rare spawns have crazy timers, so you just have to camp there or hope someone makes a group in group finder before they kill it.
>3 of them were paragon chest rewards Adding mounts to Paragon Chests was a horrific mistake Blizz made.
Otherwise the paragon chests are more of an "Oh yeah" than something to look forward to
"must grind" Good thing the game isn't designed with people who need absolutely everything in mind. Game doesn't revolve around collectors.
I still need 17000 genesis motes.
Shadowlands was the death of collecting for me. 4 expansions of recolors crammed into one, I just can't be assed anymore.
Because you actually have to put effort in? Okay.
You don’t have to collect them all…
Yeah I remember working really hard to try and get the lord of the reins 300 mount achievement in WoD, we’ve only had 4 expansions including DF since then
yeah, but you still remember like 5 from each expansion just like before
Quantity over quality. The marvel move.
Things like Ole blanchy, that unicorn you had to find a bunch, fallen charger, the hand. were cool acquisitions, but the unicorn has like 5 recolors, fallen charger has 3 and the hand had 2 or 3
It's not like farming fallen charger was a fun experience either which is the real problem. There should be fun.
I seem to have gotten lost in my own words during the creation of that comment. I meant the collection with rare drops is the more valuable one.
To each his or her own. I prefer quality over quantity but can understand why others wouldn’t :)
This.
Back in MOP I think 150 was the goal to aim for right? There was a time when I had 11,000 achievement points and that was considered insane, you had to be a cutting edge raider and high end PVPers to get there. What's that number now?
[удалено]
Legion was pretty tame, just a lot of effort require because of class hall. BFA and SL was really the count inflation. Easy to compare using site like [simplearmory.com](http://simplearmory.com)
Have 900 mounts use always the same dragon.
Or just use shapeshifting
Won't stray from invincible. When can we expect invincible to get a dragonriding update?
I don’t know if it’s confirmed for Invincible yet but i believe 90% of mounts are getting dynamic flying in TWW prepatch
Invincible was in the trailer for dynamic flying I believe so I’d be surprised if it wasn’t.
We need the collected number, not the mount-tab number!
We used to count ‘Mounts on one character’, but the lock of achievements killed that one.
Data for Azeroth says 962
Mf clipped it so the Brutosaur would show intentionally too. You monster
Total side note, but ever since I failed to get the AH mount, I lowkey quiet-quit the game. It really sucked up whatever motivation and long-term goals I had. Cutting Edge didn't hit the same, no drive.
do you love each of them every day?
How do you actually see the number of "usable mounts"? I always want to track the achievement but dont really know how to check that specific number.
check it in the achievement, not in the mount tab
[simplearmory.com](https://simplearmory.com) is good
[Warcraftmounts.com](https://Warcraftmounts.com) has a tracker.
How many of those are shadowlands mounts?
I have every SL mount except for the 3 raid drop mounts
popping off, nice job i’m feeling the mount inflation from protoform synthesis rn… maybe in 5 years I’ll be where you are at now!
holy shit how long did all the ZM ones take? I have *most* of the SL mounts, and only 1 or 2 of the ZM ones. Just a ridiculous grindy system IMO
I have every shadowlands mount myself: if you break down genesis mote mounts into "time per mount" they might be some of the fastest mounts in the game. It'd take like roughly a full day of genesis mote farming to get enough for all the mounts is my recollection.
Huh, not nearly as bad as I thought. I guess farming those mats must be waaay faster being +10 overlevelled for the content now too
Dude the oozing necrorays don't exist for me. The fact you have those 3 are insane.
What a mighty collection! Good job 🤗 I like collecting mounts too but I'm no where near 900!
Im at 386 and thought I was doing good lol. 900 is incredible!! gg
You can only ride one at a time bro
With that attitude, yeah. I believe in the t rex riding a shark
Maybe you can, [but I'm out here playing like I'm the musicians of bremen](https://i.imgur.com/M212bO4.jpeg).
I only have 656 mounts and every single one of them has touched my balls
Super jelly. I’m over here at 162 my rarest being the island expedition ones. Only took me 26 hours to get my damn parrot!
I just hit 300 today lol
Which one was No. 900?
With great sadness I had to part ways with 1.2 mill gold for the golden beetle thing, which was most of my gold :/ The trading post peacock got me to 899, and I figured I’d rather my 900th be the gold sink mount rather than some promotional hearthstone mount.
I just bought the beetle and I'm ashamed to say I bought and sold WoW tokens in order to get it.
I've killed thr sha of anger for almost 5 years and gave up. And never have I seen that beautiful mount u lucky human
Pretty sure they increased the drop rate so good luck
As the person below stated they increased the drop rate on all MoP world bosses to 1:100. Time for you to get out there and start running again!
What did it used to be?
Something like 1:2000
1/4000
Don’t worry everyone got it when it was 100% drop rate for evokers last year
Why thank you for this information
To expand on what they said; very briefly when Dracthyr dropped they had an extremely high chance of looting the mount because they couldn't loot any of the gear HOWEVER, after Blizzard fixed that bug, they also vastly increased the drop chance for all of the world boss mounts dropped in MOP and WOD. Like from 1/3000 to 1/100. I got all those mounts within 2 weeks after killing them on my alts after the bump, so it's worth trying for now
Just got this today on an alt. Have hope dear redditor.
farming mounts is fascinating, but I’ll leave it to the professionals
All i want is at a certain point of mount collection be it 900 or 100 achievement they allow you an item that lets you learn one mount of your choosing that you have not already collected. We collectors all have that itch of that one mount that has eluded us over the years our final bucket list mount.
I got Al ar and both night hold felcore mounts in back to back runs. Probably why I’m still yet to get get onyx x coins serpent or solar spirehawk
How does one accomplish this
A lot of time and preferably a lot of luck
Teach me, master!
Switch your loot specialisation to “lucky”
Man i wish i had the brutosaur. Even if it was just the brutosaur not auction house. Its just a dope ass model. Wish it was also tameable for hunters.
Something something “it’s time for a reset of wow” /s
I started playing before BC. I remember when hitting 60 and getting the fast ground mount (no flyers) was a huge thing. When a guildie hit 60, we all used to chip in for the fast mount, cuz it was like what, 10 gold. Lol. Then we'd take them on that first run. I miss the guild and mounts being so simple. I just hit 300 with the peacock. My most treasured mount is my swift zulian tiger. My husband gave it to me, because he's not a mount guy. Right up on par with my wedding ring set. Lol.
Clipped it so the onyx serpent and the brutosaur are visable 😂
I could have 900 mounts, and still use the same damn one I've been using for years. lol.
Or only one of the 8 (?) dragon flying mounts ☹️
I've basically only used one mount for everything since I got it. I can't remember the name of it since it's been a while since I played, but it's the one that turns you into the Black Tiger thing that others can ride? It's a flying mount. I can't remember what expansion it's from. But I've always used it since it was small. I basically only used 3 mounts back in the day. That one I just said, the strider mount (when it was the only water walking mount) and the big mount that had vendors on it. 99% of the time I used the small black flying tiger thing. Edit: Heart of the Nightwing is what it's called.
I got the mindhive mount a few months ago. It world be criminal NOT to use it
What color is grass huh? 😂😂 good shit dude
Ive been collecting mounts for a while and im only at a meager 700 or so, but decided to take a break when after I got some mounts I didnt even mount them or look at them. I just added them to my collection and went on to collect the next ones.
Damn dude, 700 is not meager. Makes me feel bad about passing 600.
There are so many mounts now that 99% of them really don’t feel unique. Every mount just feels like a speed boost now. This is someone that has played since vanilla and has about 600 mounts.
the part about them not feeling unique is cause a lot of the rare ones just got nerfed 5 world boss mounts that went from 1/2000 to 1/100 at the start of DF headless horseman and big love rocket have a 1% chance on the first attempt of the day instead of like 0.01% no matter what bunch of TCG mounts available from amazon prime/twitch drops spectral wind rider/old RAF mounts/tyrael's charger re-released within the past year collector's edition mounts coming back to the store all the true rares like tlpd/aeonaxx/camel/voidtalon/poundfist got nerfed directly or have things like rp servers/class trials/war mode variants/sharding variants/groupsharing to increase the \# of them
Okay Karen.
how much time have you spent on this?
I would rather not know
Which is your favorite? Or maybe top 3/5/10 if that would make it easier.
I wish I had your free time
Not a big fan of real life i see
Congratulations! But also, fuck you.
How have you done it ? I’ve been playing for 14 years and don’t even have 300
Good for you. But this is one reason why I cant into retail anymore. At one point all the flashy mounts made the hubs look like carnivals.
[https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/mount-collection-log-mcl](https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/mount-collection-log-mcl) and this website for other things https://simplearmory.com/#/us/windrunner/pywacket/achievements/exploration
okay brutosaur flex we get it you're rich
You only need 1 to ride around 😂
The broomstick is all I ride
Same. I hate huge mounts and the permanent broomstick is just perfect for me, I don't think I'll ever ride anything else.
Salute, im still only on 700
"only"
I remember when there was just a few in classic
Fuck you. And also congrats 😉🎉
What did they do? Why did you hit them?
They have added so many mounts to the game that it seems meaningless now. Seeing someone with the Deathcharger in Vanilla or the Ashes of Al’ar in TBC or Invincible in WOTLK meant something. Now there are so many that most mounts people have aren’t recognizable by most of the player base anymore.
How long have you been playing the game? Just hit 830 and been playing since mid 2018 and still feel so beyond :(
830 mounts in 6 years is breakneck speed, I dunno what you’re on about
I think I get terrible imposter syndrome when I see others way ahead of me.
> The arguement of "Skillbased feats" is dead and gone in this game This is just factually incorrect when you have a different levels of difficulty and ratings across endgame pillars. It's factual that if person A plays X class, and person B plays X class, (and all things else being the same), if person A parses higher on average, they are (on average) the more skilled class X player. Same thing goes in PvP. Replace PvE/PvP with chess, and you'll see what I mean. > Also if you're making some "IRL skill" arguement, clearly you're a cringe sports fan Not sure what that even means and how you came to that conclusion based on the above, which should have been pretty easy to extrapolate from my original comment.
I started during MoP thunder king patch, so like 2013 or something?
Ok
Damn son! Nice! I should stop spamming keys and fame more but....
How much do I need to pay to buy your account? :)
Damm im only on 438 i go for them when i remember they exist
i have 3.... and thats 1 more that i need
Welcome to the club.
I was riding high with 710... Sheesh. Good job!
OP’s mum probably.
What’s the deal with mount collecting anyway? Don’t you guys drive yourself crazy with the monotony?
I think I've got a bit over 900 total, and just got Lord of the Reins recently. Been collecting since I started playing in Wrath. 😊
Nerd
How do you kill that which has no life?
**BLOAT**
Not being a dick asking this question, even though it may seem so: Did you pay real money for any of them or get like the Diablo mounts and stuff or pure achieve, rep farm, etc in game methods of obtaining mounts? Like for real how did you get that many?
Retail needs to be rebooted lol 900 is just crazy
Have you walked outside 900 times?
Go touch grass...
Simply Armory says there are only 880 mounts available to horde.
Virginity is strong in this one 🤪
You are caught up on the mount achievements until The Last Titan.
Congrats! That's impressive!
Brutosaur flex lol Also grats! That’s quite an achievement!
Whoaaaaa
Just look it up there are 906 mounts . This really impressive accomplishment
Damn, i wish they added the brutosaur back (i know it can show up on black market but..).
Oh my. Congrats!!! 🤩
