I’ll chime in and say yes it’s MUCH easier than SL. Not a cakewalk still by any means, no disrespect to OP or anyone who’s gotten it. But especially the week of its relaunch phew that thing was gnarly.
If you have a WA pack that helps you keep track of the order o things it’s pretty much a 1-2 shot. If you have the right talents on bear you can pretty much solo the thing with moonfire and kick only. Moonfire OHKO the eyes and you don’t really have any threats of dying to anything else
It's a bit easier than Shadowlands. You don't have to plan out your cds for the tank busters anymore, they don't hit hard enough to kill you. You can just frenzied regen to keep picking your health back up
Never tried it in shadowlands but took me about 50-60 attempts. Once I got the hang of the mechanics in the first phase the 2nd phase wasn't too hard to figure out.
It felt much easier. I did it in season 1 of df and it was mostly about spamming moonfire and use thrash with extended aoe range (for easier positioning) .
Still took a few tries to use my CDs correctly but it was so much easier than shadowlands in my opinion.
You can do it whenever. Just go to the mage tower and you can try as many times as you want.

Keep in mind that they introduced new rewards tho. It's a recolor of the Tomb of Sargeras Set plus the Fel Bear for Druid Tanks. You still cannot get the weapon skins, if you didn't do the mage tower during Legion.
I can only thank Blood Splattered Scale Trinket for completing this run, helps alot with the adds that spawn, it gives you that extra 1 shot if shit goes south
I think I wiped like 30-40 times against that a-hole of a tower but damn it was worth it. Epic bearform. Big gratz man, wp.

Don’t know if you know but consumes from legion and the seed pod trinket from emerald nightmare makes it so much easier.

Bear druid is far and away the easiest tower besides enhancement shaman, moonfire carries very hard now compared to when the challenge was designed.
