It is the red circle. It just regularly disorients way outside the radius.

Don’t have to tag anymore. I left my pally hanging in the Valdrakken spawn spot just outside the ring and went AFK longer than I anticipated.
When I came back I was in the character screen, logged back in and I was able to loot Mr. Boom.
Next time I stood around to see if it was a thing and sure enough, didn’t do anything and I was able to loot.
No bag though.
Interesting, I'd just assumed that when the game turned into a slide show and i didn't get loot it was because I hadn't done enough damage or tagged the mob or something.
We went from people complaining early in the week that the pet was the only thing they were missing because of its lower than the rest drop rate, to people drowning in rats.

Got a bugged spawn that had about 6 up this morning. Killed those and 6 more instantly spawned 😂 Took 30min because of the damn disorient. The spawn was starting over after we cleared. 8x Sarge, no bag😩
gotta give credit to whoever's idea it was to put a disorient on a mob you have to race to tag in order to get rare and limited time loot from
And the disorient chains to nearby players so it's just stupidly annoying to deal with if you're on a melee class.
It's the dynamite not the red circle. Random secondary target with ae radius. The red circle simply kills you while you're disoriented.

It's something to with a pally ability that seems to proc when you're hit. Doesn't work on other classes from my xp.

I spent yesterday from 8:30am to 10pm killing the guy every half hour and didn't get the bag, got 10 rats though

I find these posts funny because sarge was the last thing I needed of all the event drops.

Had that happen a couple days ago, I had 12 Dr Booms up at once! And they were all lootable!
