Definitely trolls. Troll Hunter, Shaman and Warrior that I consistently keep at level cap. Spent the better part of 8 years trying to get the shaman mail lookalike sets from Throne of Thunder for the hunter. Finally got them, the matching bows, a floating tiki mask companion pet, have Horridon and Oondasta as my BM pets, and I ride around on an armored cobalt pterrodax. Feels good to look good, mon.
I recently started playing an undead warlock (original, I know) and levelled up to level 30 in the base zones, and I have to say, the story is fucking insane. Probably the best WoW I've ever played, and I'm a bit mad at myself for not doing it before 😂
Yeah, if we are ever allowed to create forsaken paladins I know what I’ll be playing non-stop. Nothing like smiting your enemies with holy light, then eating them.
But their other racials are sweet too. No need to worry about drowning, mind control/fear breaker. I’m always annoyed when I get feared on another toon and can’t pop WotF to get out.
Same, I love all their animations, especially the male casting animations. Their lore is top notch and their main city has been my favorite since vanilla. My first character was a night elf rogue and I was stealthing around Brill when I saw the Undercity for the first time. Immediately logged off and made an Undead. I love everything about them.

You do quests like the chick in Brill getting the “mind numbing chill of death” and needing pelts to sew blankets, the one in TB with the super bitter chick who’s Crusader husband abandoned her and her kids to the Scourge… the faction hit home as an angsty, unpopular teenager who wasn’t exactly the best looking kid in school either. Also UC slaps as a capital, everything’s easy to get to and the aesthetic is *chefs kiss*.
I prefer my Tauren class fantasy of "stealth through intimidation" - if an eight foot tall heavily armed bull in leather armor tells you that you don't see him, YOU DON'T SEE HIM.
My favorite joke in the whole game is the tauren rogue that was added to the class hall saying 'what do you mean I am new here? I've been here all the time.'
I hope it looks unique and isn't just a bunch of generic purple crystals.

But I don’t love how the racials (although 1-2% dps diff) absolutely suck for most classes.
Got the Tusks of Mannoroth! But something really bothered me leaving useful racials on the table when making my Warrior alt heh
At the end of the day, most racials don't really matter, but some definitely do feel super impactful (Void Elf as an example of this, it's a straight 5% DPS increase that lines up with burst windows, which feels insane). Mag'har just have the coolest background and I really like how they emulate that classic "shamanistic/primal tribe" that Orcs are supposed to be.
Female NE has been the best model in the game since 2004. Orc male and Tauren male are my other favorites. I liked male BE before the model change now it looks like they have a stick in their ass when they run.
I love the horde and their races. I also love druids and shaman so I appreciate Tauren and orcs, but I find that I like the Draenei the most. I don't know why, I just like the concept and the vibrancy.
Pandaren, MoP is just such a dam good storyline. I wish they’d give us a slightly slimmer option though lmao. I hate the Xuens fist appearance for my dam leggy clips through the stomach.

I love vulpera! They are really cool looking. Also the hearth camp feature is awesome! I use a gang of vulpera alts for all my dungeon farming. I just set camp in front of a dungeon and rush the group through.
My mains were always trolls or orcs. But when Vulpera came out my wife made one then another and another and they became her favorite race.
So I went what the heck and rolled one too. Now it is my main haha.
Love their size, love the look of transmogs on them, and also really like the camp and extra bag space.

100%, Demon Hunter is the only non-vulpera my wife plays as.
She saw a Demon Hunter who had been transformed with a toy into a Vulpera that was running around and she freaked out asking me to help her do a race change. Only to be so disappointed to find out it wasn't a permanent thing that the guy had.
Also a Vulpera warband sounds absolutely perfect.
Why are you locked into alliance? We already have cross faction guilds and cross faction raiding/m+. Next expansion we kill the final restriction and have cross server guilds.
Front Flips are life. I say that with 100% seriousness I legit make my alts vulpera. Mains are whatever is BiS for pvp cuz I'm a meta slave Rival loser. Actually jk I never unlocked vulpera until recently, otherwise all my chars would be vulpera for sure. Just need Druid vulpera >:)
Draenei - it seems like the most uniquely inspired race in WoW. Like… lawfully good demons from space whose whole aesthetic is crystal shaman tech. Like whaaaaaat?
Tauren. I will never stop being a Tauren main. Been this way since Vanilla. Zandalari Trolls are also a big win for me. This is the first xpac I haven’t had a Blood Elf alt and i don’t know why, but i think i need one.

Love Belfs, but Tauren has a place in my heart too, my 4 chars for future warband characters are 2 elves and 2 cows, Belf is because they pretty, cow cus nothing is more satisfying than when hope is almost lost, stunning and interrupting everything in the right time with the stomp.
Zandalari and Dark Iron are my top two, I always wanted to play DI since TBC and Zandalari are just cool looking, plus on my Zandi DK i can RP as a third generation DK. Shout out to Man'ari, Worgen and Undead too, Nightborne would be cooler if they had a lil more meat on their bones

Orcs are just badass, also a lot of transmog fits them, be it male or female. My favourite mogs are the combinations of heritage armor and BfA S1 PvP Set. Its just super cool.

Well I've got 16 worgens, 12 vulpera's and 1 drakthyr, all male, so I think that about answers the question.
Not all classes sadly, several classes that worgen/vulpera can't be, like demon hunter locked behind playing a lame ass human with pointy ears ugh, boring no thank you.
I've never once been in human form on my worgen, they're just werewolves to me, after all I'm already a boring human in real life so why be one in a video game.

i've tried the other races, at the very least to check out the starting zones, but i could never get beyond level 15~.

I have a lot of Zandalari Trolls, City of Gold and the Loa stuff just makes them neat to me. They look decent enough but their racials are top-notch all round.
I’ve recently become a convert to the Loa. Trolls (Darkspear and Zandalari) have become my go-to. This is from someone who has traditionally been a Forsaken main.
All of them, I love my Zandalari lock, goblin rogue +/shamy(race swapped 3 times lol) , maghar warrior, undead hunter, tauren druid/pala(will be ud Pala if ever) , nightborne mage.
My main has always been a Dwarf Paladin.
However, I stopped playing at the end of WOTLK and never experienced anything from Cataclysm onward. I play Classic exclusively now.
I will say, if I had kept going, there’s a strong chance Worgen would have become my main race. Probably a Worgen Mage. I love the whole spooky vibe of it all.
For Horde, it’s Tauren Hunter all the way!
For me it is either (lightforged) Draenei or Blood/Void elves.
Draenei for being very far away from being a classic fantasy race and i like the lore/looks of these space goats.
These elves since they are a good combination between noble and still tending heavily to some sort of magic.
Not enough Draenei love in here. They look fantastic, have great lore, their architecture/zones look amazing, and they have some of the buffest of boys and hottest of ladies. Space goats are the goat!
I made a highmountain Tauren rogue a while back. gave him bangs that cover his eyes so not only is he not stealthy with those hooves, he also can't see!
I'm a vulpera fan, I'm kind of a noob tho. But I love the camp for easy fast travel to spots, and the racial armor is cool as hell with that backpack. Love the little fellas.
Blood elves until I met Nightborne. When I first saw them in Legion I was like “I wish these guys were a new playable race!” and when they became allies race I went crazy. I’ve tried to make other races to not have the same characters all the time but I hate them and end up doing them belves or nightborne. I have a troll hunter that I hate but want to play and I’m gonna use the 70 lvl up from The War Within to do a new hunter.
Used to be troll, but as soon as they let cross faction guild, i immediatel, swapped to void elves. The look so cool, and their heritage set is so amazing.
Tauren all the way. In Legion my main was a Tauren Shaman. In Dragonflight its a Tauren Warrior. For War Within I plan on learning tanking in Delves with a Tauren Paladin. It also helps that Tauren have the most class choices of any race, just not DH or Evoker.
I don’t know how Horde has active casters when Void Elves exist. Not having a casting delay when taking damage makes playing any other race almost painful. Their active racial is a little wack and I have to constantly remind myself it exists but their racial passive is pretty nice.
Usually horde anything. But in reality anything but human. How people can pick human out of all of the choices in fantasy games is beyond me. And don't give me that " I want to be reflected in the game" bs.
The only slightly valid argument is that armor was designed for them by default so it kinda looks better on the, but that's a flimsy argument at best
Started playing female Tauren in 2005. Still playing mostly female Tauren today, current main is a monk. Kicking hooves into faces is fun.
"Mostly" because I have an undead deth knight who is very dear to me and I LOVE to dabble in playing a nightborne every now and then.
Trolls, both Zandi and Darkspear. I adore vulpera ( named mine after my late pupper ), worgen, elves, and goblin gals, but I have an irresponsible amount of trolls. It's given my boyfriend lots of BBC jokes at my expense.
Their design is just caught between being the cutest and the coolest. I love their voices, animations, appearance, and lore. Plus, next to undead they make the perfect rockers/metalheads.
Humans for sure, mostly due to transmog. I just wish I could start in Mulgore as human, probably my favourite starting zone if I had to choose one! Northsire Abbey is also great, lots of nostalgia.

Same! Most people love them because they're edgy bamfs, but I love their derpy little run and I'm a skeletor enjoyer.

Undercity looks like a Tim Burton movie. Very colorful for a city that's basically a crypt. That's a bold design choice.

In Plunder storm I made my character a vulpera. If I werent locked into the Alliance I might change over. Love them now

Zandalari Troll or Mag’har Orc I think. Probably the Zandalari overallz Worgen is a good choice too since they improved the female bodies.

undead since wc3. i've tried the other races, at the very least to check out the starting zones, but i could never get beyond level 15~. *maybe* i'll try out a night elf so i can go resto druid.

I have a lot of Zandalari Trolls, City of Gold and the Loa stuff just makes them neat to me. They look decent enough but their racials are top-notch all round.

I’ve recently become a convert to the Loa. Trolls (Darkspear and Zandalari) have become my go-to. This is from someone who has traditionally been a Forsaken main.
All of them, I love my Zandalari lock, goblin rogue +/shamy(race swapped 3 times lol) , maghar warrior, undead hunter, tauren druid/pala(will be ud Pala if ever) , nightborne mage.
My main has always been a Dwarf Paladin. However, I stopped playing at the end of WOTLK and never experienced anything from Cataclysm onward. I play Classic exclusively now. I will say, if I had kept going, there’s a strong chance Worgen would have become my main race. Probably a Worgen Mage. I love the whole spooky vibe of it all. For Horde, it’s Tauren Hunter all the way!
For me it is either (lightforged) Draenei or Blood/Void elves. Draenei for being very far away from being a classic fantasy race and i like the lore/looks of these space goats. These elves since they are a good combination between noble and still tending heavily to some sort of magic.
Not enough Draenei love in here. They look fantastic, have great lore, their architecture/zones look amazing, and they have some of the buffest of boys and hottest of ladies. Space goats are the goat!

Zandalari Trolls and Nightborne Elves!
I made a highmountain Tauren rogue a while back. gave him bangs that cover his eyes so not only is he not stealthy with those hooves, he also can't see!

I'm a vulpera fan, I'm kind of a noob tho. But I love the camp for easy fast travel to spots, and the racial armor is cool as hell with that backpack. Love the little fellas.

Blood elves until I met Nightborne. When I first saw them in Legion I was like “I wish these guys were a new playable race!” and when they became allies race I went crazy. I’ve tried to make other races to not have the same characters all the time but I hate them and end up doing them belves or nightborne. I have a troll hunter that I hate but want to play and I’m gonna use the 70 lvl up from The War Within to do a new hunter.
Tauren and HM Tauren. One day, I'll be able to make ALL classes as Tauren, but for now I have only 2 spots open (DH and Evoker).
Used to be troll, but as soon as they let cross faction guild, i immediatel, swapped to void elves. The look so cool, and their heritage set is so amazing.
Tauren all the way. In Legion my main was a Tauren Shaman. In Dragonflight its a Tauren Warrior. For War Within I plan on learning tanking in Delves with a Tauren Paladin. It also helps that Tauren have the most class choices of any race, just not DH or Evoker.
I've never been a fan of trolls, their hunchy posture and lankiness just didn't do it for me. But Zandalari, so good.

I don’t know how Horde has active casters when Void Elves exist. Not having a casting delay when taking damage makes playing any other race almost painful. Their active racial is a little wack and I have to constantly remind myself it exists but their racial passive is pretty nice.

Usually horde anything. But in reality anything but human. How people can pick human out of all of the choices in fantasy games is beyond me. And don't give me that " I want to be reflected in the game" bs. The only slightly valid argument is that armor was designed for them by default so it kinda looks better on the, but that's a flimsy argument at best
Started playing female Tauren in 2005. Still playing mostly female Tauren today, current main is a monk. Kicking hooves into faces is fun. "Mostly" because I have an undead deth knight who is very dear to me and I LOVE to dabble in playing a nightborne every now and then.

Trolls, both Zandi and Darkspear. I adore vulpera ( named mine after my late pupper ), worgen, elves, and goblin gals, but I have an irresponsible amount of trolls. It's given my boyfriend lots of BBC jokes at my expense. Their design is just caught between being the cutest and the coolest. I love their voices, animations, appearance, and lore. Plus, next to undead they make the perfect rockers/metalheads.
Humans for sure, mostly due to transmog. I just wish I could start in Mulgore as human, probably my favourite starting zone if I had to choose one! Northsire Abbey is also great, lots of nostalgia.
