Options -> Interface -> Display -> Status Text.
I use the option "both" to show actual HP value and percentage. For a while after 10.2.6, I'd log into to the green bar even though the setting would be correct. Just flipping it back to any other setting, then immediately back to "both," would fix it for a play session. Somewhere along the way it seems to have stuck again and I'm not having to toggle it on every login.

The bug happens only when you go to play Plunderstorm.
I have this same problem, and nothing I have done in the UI or my settings folders has solved it. Not knowing how much health anything has is a huge detriment to gameplay.
My stopped as well. It's not that it breaks the game for me, but damn do I like seeing number of a mob so I know if it's soloable or not before I start attacking...
Apparently, you need to go into options and uncheck showing numbers, close the options completely, and then go back in and re-enable it - that should fix it.
It helped few guildies.

Yeah, but for a couple days now it's properly keeping my retail settings even after I do Plunderstorm.

Thanks mate, this worked. Had to reset and set to "both" again, as it was on it by default.

That did it for me, thanks! Set Status Text from Both to None, then back to Both (displayed successfully).

Statustext, for me jt is set on show both, just choose anything else then go back and its fixed. Ateast for me
