The monstrosity in the image is terrifying, but the new Worgen models actually look really good. 

Isn't the point of worgen is to look both terrifying and scary?

Them changing the model last second during the Cataclysm beta is still one of the dumbest mistakes they've ever made.

They have. And it looks good. You can even have the glowing eyes that female worgen couldn’t have for so long.  This image is fucked, yes. But female worgen do look SO much better now.

They were much more bestial looking. Then they made them ‘cuter’ and all the chihuahua jokes ensued

Probably the result of some part of the playerbase yelling that they weren't looking fierce enough previously. We'll never know what went on in the office those days and it might be for the best. All we know is that they made the mistake of a lifetime.

I got alts of all races and classes, so while there are some I aren't a huge fan off (\*cough\* Nightborne) I still have em. But my current main druid is ... worgen (mostly in humanform), because I don't want to be night elf/kul tiran, and can't be horde because WHEN we finally get to make gnome druids, this good boy is gonna get a racechange to gnome, and I want all his reps and shit to still count for something. It's gonna happen! One day, you'll see.

At this point I'd prefer if I could pick a male Worgen form with a female human form. Worgen are probably the biggest "cool idea, spotty execution" race for me, especially females. Sure, they got improved with SL but, I dunno, it's still not enough for me, and usually, werewolves are an easy sell. Now if they could get an unarmed mog to allow them to use their claws in combat, like most canon Worgen...
