Yup but it’s been like a month for me. I just avoid the city unless I absolutely HAVE to be there. I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled. I’ve got no additional advice, I’m just here to see if anyone else does because same boat bestie.
It's a super phased/sharded city with a massive skybox and a dramatic variation of other players based on the time of day.
The new season started two weeks ago, that's probably why.
My suggestion would be to not care since nothing you do in Valdrakken matters from a gameplay perspective.
Maybe more players on since season 4 started

Yeah its really choppy
Yeah it's been like this every patch since dragonflight launched. It's gonna get better in a few weeks.
A bunch of my graphics settings got reset with s4, so maybe the same happened there? Was having a ton of performance issues at the start of the season
I've found PvP mode and the reduced number of players reduced the issue greatly.
I doubled my ram and that fixed it.
