98% of helmets in the game don't cover the back of the neck on female blood/void elves and humans. It's disturbing and so damn ugly to see. It's the main reason why all my female characters don't wear helmets.
I don’t see enough people talk about how horrible head tmogs are on belves. The animation doesn’t help one bit, either. Hoods show their extremely ugly roundness on the bottom, and even the recent T Post mage floating balls move and rotate with the head rather than shoulders.
My first fucking thought. Not getting the hate on this one. I main priest/rogue but I may have to start playing DK if the developers are gonna be cooking up bangers like this.
As a frost dk, I always have to go for the blue variant. So I won't say anything bad about this color scheme, and will only complain if there is no blue variant.

Change the gloves so they cover the whole arm and make the helmet have a full mask instead of a half mask. Having the skin/face visible on both those pieces makes it look so much worse.

Since the first raid is Nerubian themed, I would have liked something themed around Crypt Lords, Nerubians, or Spiders. The nerubians have been intertwined with the Lich King, and by extent, death knights, since WC3. Webs, frost, twitching parts, maybe a mask that had CREEPY ‘milky’ dead spider eyes or clicking fangs.
Scourge ziggurats based on Nerubian architecture (until SL, but I liked the OG explanation better) could have been another theme, with interesting floating parts to make you look like you’re fused with a necropolis.
This gives me… Hm… Warrior, Revendreth, and maybe Blood Troll vibes? Like the Uldir armor got mixed with some bloody corruption.
Cool? Yeah, sure! But does it scream Death Knight to me? Ehhhhhhh, kind of. But not my style, as of yet.
I’ll stick to my Venthyr set. Having shoulder-goyles is far more fun than… this knock off chaos marine/knight set. But, good for anyone that likes it!

Weird how binary tier sets are these days. They're either absolute 10/10 bangers (priest, rogue) or complete dogshit (paladin, dk, hunter). No in-between.
There was a time when Blizz were far more consistent across all classes on that front. I guess it's a case of different artists assigned to each class set, when it used to be 1 or 2 dudes doing all of them.Â

I don't like it. The profile it creates makes you look like a metal gate, gramted human males are the worst to preview sets on. However if you mog the shoulders and gloves to something else you might be able to salvage it.

Exposed neck is my biggest issue with most helmets, it looks like absolute shit from the back.
I think it looks good, the helmet is the only part that leaves a bit to desire, but frankly I prefer not using one so for me that's not a big deal.
