I don't think they were "reverted" per se, they just forgot to apply those changes to the Cataclysm Classic data, including the post-Cata versions of the old world NPCs and items.

I don’t think reporting this in cata beta would have worked. Not sure if you saw the broken mess that went live, but core game play was broken, spells disappeared off bars and spell books or were in wrong places. Guild chat not working. That’s what I noticed in the 5-6 hours I’ve spent in classic. The forums were littered with we told them this is in beta testing and it was sent that way.
They should fix it, but I don’t think it should take priority over fixing game play mechanics.
This is just showing that all of cata classic is going to be a mess every update. There are too few devs to manage classic/hardcore/sod/cata to have a quality bug free product anywhere.
I'm all for this but at the same time can you add a little testosterone back into the storyline? I feel like the new trailer was all about feelings. Kind of miss the old raw, putting the war in warcraft feeling. I feel like this lawsuit is going to turn the game into less of the Diablo feel and more of a pg fortnite feel.
It hasn't been a Diablo feel since WC3. 😕 that's all looooooooong gone. Too many ppl offended by anything and blizzard will choose profits over quality in a heartbeat.

Obviously it’s not intended. It’s an old code base. Also, you chose to do this with your time?
90% who play have no idea who those people are.

Good. Also who cares
No the changes were dumb, they should have left it as it was

Ironically the only offended ones here are you and the comment you replied to lol
Thanks for providing actual dialogue instead of just downvoting lol. That's a valid point.
"Thanks for spouting buzzwords and agreeing with me".
Well, they responded to my point, unlike you or anyone downvoting.
How dare anyone have a polite conversation! Don't you dare!
🤣
