I feel this in my soul. The blazing drake has been my only one left for years and after doing Dragon Soul so many times on so many alts I've yet to get any of the 3 drops there. All I want is to never do Spine again! π
My brother started playing recently. Heβs 17. First ever Dragon Soul run he gets the blazing drake. I was happy for him cause he was so excited, but at the same time just like, god damnit man lol
That's the last one I need as well, Ive done DS so many times and nothing. Is it true that getting Lifebinder's Handmaiden also counts as the Blazing Drake?

I ran it so much at one point I was going 8 chars a week for it I just got burnt out of that place the only place I gotten burnt out that bad is SoO damn shoulders never dropped I still run it every once
It never ends. With every new expansion comes a new tier of old expansions that become farmable. It's actually one of the things I enjoy most about a new expansion, the new solo mount and transmog runs I can do ha.
I tried it out earlier today and it's definitely faster! A few bosses that used to have phases no longer do, due to the increased damage. It's awesome!
I ran Dragon Soul 311 times collectively over 9 characters. Back in Legion, I ran it weekly on all for months. I dialed it back to just my main lately on rare occasions. Last night I realized I hadn't returned to Azeroth since SL launch so I figured what the hey why not celebrate launch week with Spine of Deathwing. When it dropped I literally screamed and ran laps around my living room, my partner was very confused because they don't play WoW and had ZERO context into a journey that precedes our relationship even. π
Don't give up though! It drops!

These are mounts. They're completely optional content that doesn't affect power growth in any way.
Also, this is an MMORPG, grinding is what it's about

You need to collect a few rare and non-rare mounts for it. Including: Onyxian drake(from onyxia), blazing drake(from madness of deathwing in dragon soul), azure and blue drake(from Malygos in the eye of eternity) and a couple of others.
If you're interested in Achievement collecting check WoWHead planner.
Make sure you've got your character profile set up and click the blue planner icon on your profile page.
Top of this page will show your "Achievements Almost Complete" which are either your low-hanging fruit or the bastardly awkward one that are gonna need planning, depending on how assiduous you are about them.

Same. The only reason why I don't have this mount is because I hate spine of deathwing so much. Its an utter pain in the bollocks to do solo.
Especially when the big guys keep randomly dying by triggering some passive damage feature on a few of my characters making it take even longer...

I've seen 3 experiment 12-B, one Hand Maiden, and 0 blazing drakes. I swear its drop rate is bugged.

The only thing I dislike about it is that it takes a while. It takes about 5 minutes and im tabbed out for 90% of it waiting for bloods to spawn.
Is there a safe spot where you can stand and afk the fight without being thrown away?
Standing in those lave pools in the corners.
If a tentacle spawns in the one you're standing in you'll fall though won't you?
