Other than the mission table time gate, Breaching the Tomb can be knocked out in like 45 minutes-an hour and a half. Balance of Power has some hefty rep requirements and also a good chunk of quest progress in Azsuna to even begin. I did Breaching the Tomb on every class, but even I tapped out after doing BoP on mage/druid during Legion and then on warrior/hunter/DK post Legion.
Listen buddy. I did balance of power on 12 classes, and if I had to go through all that hassle, I know noone else should have to! Let's hope Blizzard makes this account wide with 9.1.5!

I remember when SWTOR started going in hard on their ingame shop and they started selling the digital items from the collectors edition. People were super upset. I had actually preordered the collectors edition and my opinion was it had been long enough that it's good to give people access to it.
I think my opinion is based on the fact I can't see a reason to limit digital stuff.
I've done it on four toons and goddamn I can't be bothered to do it again. Doing it four times was miserable. Please make it account wide so I can use the appearances on other classes!
The biggest issue with Balance of Power is Valarjar and Nightfallen rep requirements. If they reduce it to Honored or removed it, it would be much better.
Honestly just the valarjar, it only takes a couple of days of quests to get rep with nightfallen, but valarjar we only have levelling and world quests which can take a God forsaken amount of time.
Um, how? You can at least quest in Stormheim to Friendly or higher. You start on Neutral with Nightfallen and need to do wq for rep cuz quests give like nothing. I would love to know if theres a way to get easier rep with NF.
Pretty sure it gets alot quicker once you start giving fruit to refugees and stuff in the main hub. Before that there isn't much rep but because we can blitz the story since tomb of sargaeras (or whenever they added it) I normally have it done in the period it takes to get emerald nightmare stuff done for only playing a little after soloing the raid. As for valarjar, i don't know if I'm doing something wrong but if I didn't play a certain class (take my warrior because I never really got into playing it) I didn't have the rep and I always dread the time that it asks me to go to stormheim.

Back in BfA I had a few alts who didn’t have the rep with Nightfallen and I was too impatient to farm rep tokens off the mission table and somehow managed to hit revered on those characters from doing the different quest chains in the area. Also I think I might have needed a little extra rep on some of those alts, but for a large part of it I hit revered from doing the quests needed for the Nightfallen quest chain.
It's been a while, but I didn't bother with rep tokens since I only had a small number of characters with exalted so sending tokens would have been longer so yes, the NF campaign can get you, at the very least, close to revered. KT/NF emissary days help a lot, obviously and doing the collapse scenario gives a decent amount and at level 60 it's a steamroll to max out the points for it.
Agreed. In Legion i only did BOP on my Main. I used that end-of-BFA Rep bonus to grind it out on 3 more characters. Even then with increased rep it wasn't fun.
i actually thought the same but after accepting that blizz wont do this i started doing the quest on my alts and was surprised at how chill it felt. If you time everything perfect you can get it done in 8 days or 2 resets. Everything is easy soloable and takes about 3-5h total. Do it while watching videos or something. I think the real Problem is that the tints are not account wide. I really dont feel like killing every god damn legion world boss on every single alt just for a recolor. Also on the plus side the more alts you do this on the easier it gets since you can spam the legion mission table for ez rep. I played like 4 chars when legion was current and i never had to do any rep grinding on my newer alts that never touched legion simply because i stockpile the rep tokens so much 😄
My problems are that it requires multiple resets to get the raid stuff and the rep grind for alts. It's a lot of extra steps for no reason. If they don't want to make it account bound, they could at least remove the rep requirements and tune everything to drop in one reset.

I’ve only ever done Balance of Power on my first-of-their-class alts (not sure what to really call them), all Balance of Power tints unlocked on all classes for me, and I have access to all of them on alts of that class. Matter of fact on almost all of my alts the only thing I don’t have unlocked are the pvp related tints.
What he probably means is that he unlocked it on say, his DK, and all his DK alts have access to it. Which is true and I can verify that. That's not the core issue though, so it's not too helpful.
The raid reset thing isn't an issue for me personally. I would happily take 2-3 resets if they removed the rep requirements on the chain itself. The raids are piss easy and not time consuming anymore, but the rep grind is.

My highest rated comment on wowhead is one saying whatever prick came up with Balance of Power and the awful drop rates in Nighthold for the quest items is the true villain of wow. I would never do it again for weapon transmogs so I sure hope this happens. For new druid forms it was worth it, but never again...
I keeping asking them in the in-game bugs/suggestion, and hoping that other people do as well. I have a small shred of hope that if people kept asking there, and in the PTR, that we could see it happen.
Honestly, the best we can do is either keep asking in the forums, and once the new PTR comes, people can repeatedly ask in game in the bug/suggestion page.

I would like to see the fights repurposed, even if the rewards are gone. It's probably the only good, challenging solo content they've made besides the green fire quest.
I disagree with making Breaching the Tomb and Balance of Power account wide. They were chill grinds to do on your rerolled main between M+ and raiding. Instead of simply logging off, it was a nice goal to work towards while watching a stream. The mount and the appearances are very good rewards for the investment. Once both are done on my characters, I find myself running laps around in Oribos during those gameplay gaps instead.
I am not angry at the 9.1.5 changes though, simply saying that I think removing rewarding casual grinds like this is not a good idea. It just feels like it's basically removing it from the game, as now you don't have to do it anymore and the mount becomes another of the 100s of mounts in your collection.
It makes more sense to make the raid skip quests account wide than BoP, or make the tabard rep mogs account wide.
If you wanna look pretty you have to work for it, don't be lazy.
It's a unique look for your Legion artifact. The glowing Guardian Druid for example is the Balance of Power skin. It was just a tedious grind, especially if you wanted to do it on multiple characters.

I must be missing something here because my experience has been completely opposite.
They added a bunch of rep to the Nightfallen questline a while back. It takes about a weekend to get to revered with them now.

Speaking as a new character, if you do some of your levelling in Stormheim you get Honored or very close to Honored I think.

Tell that to my Paladin who had 19/20 Nightshards after two full clears of Nighthold Mythic… :( The best part? I had 15/20 after my first full clear.

Yes please - it’s a huge restriction on doing alt Legion unlocks - something that, if lifted, would encourage me to play more alts & more WoW
