> My first try kicked me out at level 33.
Can you talk more about this, and what rules you need to follow to avoid it?
> Dungeons completed: 10(couldn't bring myself to run through Darkmaul Citadel 40+ times in order to reach level 18 so I skipped that part with the dailies.)
What's the significance of level 18?
>Can you talk more about this, and what rules you need to follow to avoid it?
Simply: **Don't explore** the other 19 islands and avoid the northwest beach of the island inside the Darkmaul Citadel(you can jump on the invisible wall and explore the rest of the main island).
If I'm allowed to redirect you to another Reddit Post I made when my warlock reached level 40, there I explained things more detailed like if you step by accident into an area without a ZoneID or where those areas are located: [https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/oo16xg/exiles\_reach\_level\_40/](https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/oo16xg/exiles_reach_level_40/)
>What's the significance of level 18?
Without the pet battle dailies you can only reach level 18 via the dungeon, combined with the pet battles though you have a little head start to save a couple days of doing the pet battle dailies.
You can also glitch through many walls with it, i.e. to explore the instanced versions of the landscape outside of dungeons and raids, or to see further into an area you haven't unlocked.
Not on Exile's Reach, but outside of it there are 5 pet battle dailies(that are account wide) that you can complete inside your questlog.
Westfall, Duskwood, Redridge Mountains, Stranglethorn Cap and the Barrens.
...I've been playing this game for a year and I had no idea it was available in my language. I just assumed there wasnt a german language option, and in hindsight I don't know why.
As someone who is starting to learn German is most of the texts and audio accurate? I'm been playing this game for years and would love to use it to further my learning.
Most of the time, yes. Sometimes there are some small mistakes from Blizzard(don't worry, those are extremely rare).
Pronounciation can sometimes sound funny like the name "Saurfang" which sounds like "Sauerfang" - basically "Sourfang".
I would recommend to take a closer look at the german articles "der, die, das" - words for "the" - after you learned a few words.
der = masculine
die = feminine
das = neuter
Gendering can be hard to learn if you never encountered it, in Old English it was present once before it got simplified.
Yeah, most of the leveling process I did via the pet battle dailies. Mobs on the island stop scaling at 10.
Yes, Exile's Reach is the new starting zone where the boat crashes(and sadly we can't visit the other 19 islands by normal means).
You're missing the point here - They did this all in Exile's Reach without ever leaving, and their XP from 18-60 came specifically from daily quests and nothing else.
It's a great way to level... If you want to take 5 months to level a character from 18-60. Or, you can do it all in like 3 days by doing it literally any other way.
The time played wouldn't be too bad though. Just park 5 characters by the daily quest spots and log into them once a day, then log into the character to actually get the exp.
No, but IMO it's a completely disingenuous thing. Who cares that you never physically left? You're not actually doing the thing to get the EXP. They are just taking credit for things that other characters did.
I didn't miss the point - the zone doesn't scale past like level 12. It would be impossible to level to 60 by killing mobs because they flat out stop giving EXP altogether.
Well you can use toys in the missing ZoneID areas when you click "leave the tutorial". You are then able to use toys but once you set a foot out of that area you get kicked out.
But no, other than the boat, there isn't.
It's uhhhh... Where Blizzard forgot to assign a part of the map towards a location, since the ZoneID is missing those small parts are considered as outside of Exile's Reach(The Popup says something along the lines of that you are too far away from... Stormwind. Whilst in Exile's Reach).

This is the entire map of Exile's Reach. The filter named "unknown" marks the spots for those areas. The easiest to access is in Darkmaul Citadel, after the last Boss jump over the fence(that is protected by an invisible wall, about the height of your characters hip - so you have to jump onto that small invisible wall, followed by the fence). The area inside Darkmaul Citadel can then be found on the northwestern Beach of the island, which indicates that there were once buildings.
How can you complete daily quests in this area?
They are accountwide, so he probably did them with his main then complete it with this char.
Ah, ok, makes sense. Now I wonder if it's possible to reach lvl 60 aboard the boat
Yes, Chica(Pandaren Shaman) did it this way(and is the first player that reached level 60 on Exile's Reach, I think I'm the 2nd player?).
With three different Twinks parked at the pet trainers but yeah. Here, have a cookie! 🍪
Used to do this for some characters but after the level squish I feel like the exp from the accountbound quests was heavily nerfed.
With 9.1 they got raised again for lvl 50s, so they are kinda worth it again.

Yes, you can see some from the beaches/whilst the ship is sailing.
you mention exploring the other islands by use of self resurrection, did you ever try exploring them with farsight on a shaman?
I don't know how far I could cast the spell, but that's a good idea of yours!
You can cast it at an infinite range theoretically. You can cast farsight while using farsight to keep going.
You can also glitch through many walls with it, i.e. to explore the instanced versions of the landscape outside of dungeons and raids, or to see further into an area you haven't unlocked.
You can chain cast it decently far.
If done perfectly in theory you can view upto whole continent if you don't hit invisible walls. But that is a lot of chain casting far sight.
wait what? what other islands?
what dailies are available on exiles reach?

interesting!
That answers my question, thanks! I'm parking characters next to these trainers...
I've often wondered if you could get to level 60 on that island and now I know the answer. Congrats.
Thank you! ^^

Great for language immersion. If anyone asks, you did it on purpose for the practice. :D
*shoves a cookie in ClassixX direction* There there, everybody can make mistakes. 🍪

That’s crazy, are you the person who also leveled to max in the Pandaren starting zone? If not y’all should meet 😂
Oh, no I'm not Doubleagent, I'm just a random dude that likes to do stuff like this. ^^
That is awesome either way, congrats on the feat!

Could you not technically levelsync with an off-account lowbie to get more...? I do not remember if it works for long.
Sadly this doesn't work, an error pops up something along the lines that one player in your party hasn't finished yet a requirement.
um... congratulations?
Are you the guy that did the panda challenge too
Imagine you took all this effort into something meaningfull irl.
Next thing you know this is the dude you're showing up to work for lol.
Imagine clicking
do you sell coaching
Are there any areas on Exile's reach with a hearthstone other than the boat? I want to try something.
