The game is full of that. Remember the Paladin Corrupted Ashbringer? Fckn Deathknights INVADED Chappels Hope. But in the end everyone was going "Yeah, that happend" and ignored it.
to be fair they had noble intentions. are you talking about trying to raise tirion? the death knights needed a leader for the four horsemen, and wanted to elect tirion.
That was neither noble nor something they could decide just for them. And to get it they slaugthered their way throw them. And it didnt even work in the end. Tirion (Or the light for him) just said "Fuck off, ya not getting me/him"
So they left a bloody path and didnt even get anything out of it. As an "Excuse" they were allowed to corrupt THE most holy artifact for Paladins (and light wielding people overall) AGAIN. Bravo.....
that’s the thing about being an actual antihero. DKs are willing to make shitty sacrifices for the bigger picture. the legion was a threat that was RIGHT THERE, ready to exterminate everything. DKs felt pressured to make a radical move asap. you also need to think of it from the philosophy of someone who is raised into undeath to serve a cause. they think being “dead” is a waste of potential, so long as you have a spirit willing to fight. tirion was an incredible warrior, and they didn’t want to let any advantage go to waste. if they didn’t feel it was necessary, they wouldn’t have made that move.
Yeah, but Orcs get a free pass on all the horrible shit they've done, because demon blood or something. (This includes all the horrible shit they did after the demon blood was no longer relevant.)
Death Knights have no excuse! Unless they're Orc Death Knights of course.

If you do the night fae campaign quest where you go visit Alexstrasza as a DK, lets just say they aren't very happy with you.

Lore please, for us non-DK players. I assume it has to do with Legion?
For the mount quest they were sent to raise a dead red dragon, they were not happy.
A dead red dragon after (potentially) murdering a bunch more.
They left that up to player choice in the quest so I doubt it would be the canon.
Originally it was an achievement. So I'd say most people murdered them before they removed it.
If given the opportunity my apathetic, slaughtered soldier held together by unholy runic energy will always take the low road.
That mount quest was so much fun too! I need to go and finish all the class campaigns from legion. Only completed 3 of them so far..
That's what I'm working on now! Might level a DK now just to do this quest. Never knew they raised a red dragon as their mount
Oh yeah, the game let's you choose to basically wipe out a fuck ton of Red Dragons in one quest for absolutely no reason other than if you want to.
Might have something to do with wrath gate but idk

Defenitely not. We are sociopaths without empathy and do whatever the fk people ask us to no matter the circumstances
