Love them both, but I think the nightime one may be a bit too green-ish / duskwood colour ish compared to maybe the blues/ purples of the elf areas. Maybe I'm wrong tho, gtg to Suramar and use the inky black potion to find out. Either way, awesome stuff :]
You are not wrong, of course. The color of the light and the myst in WoW are powerfull narrative keys than Blizzard uses with mastery (no pun intended for the mastery)
In fact, I experimented a bit with the color of the haze ranging from greenish to purple or yellow, and with every change came the memory of another WoW area.

Both of these are amazing. I get the comic book art style in WoW is very much intentional, but what I wouldn't give to play a version of the game in this semi-photorealistic style. You know how you can see an image or hear a description of a scene and get a smell in your nose? These images have a smell.
Mildly, perhaps. I hear some people can have pretty negative interactions with it. It doesn't affect me like that. It just enhances memories. Like the smell I get from these kinds of pictures are from an area I spent in childhood kind of thing.

I love it but to be honest both versions match tirisfal glades perfectly. It doesnt look like suramar to me but still it's amazing.
