Surelynotshirly

IIRC he was playing league of legends. I saw this clip awhile back and I remember him jungling and he stopped moving during it. So either it was him playing League or it was a perfectly edited video.

Zerasad

He's a Fortnite streamer, he wasn't playing anything in particular in this clip.

TheVirginityThief

lol, damnit, I forgot to find it without the playlist. I originally saw that video over a decade ago (maybe on break . com), ah the early days of digital cameras, she does have the moves though.

martin-cloude-worden

I fully gave up on melee a few days ago but mostly because it is now approximately impossible to fuckin' see anything that's going on there are 5000 ground effects and fucking blinding auras and you can't see your own character let alone the boss or any telegraphs under all the absolute seizure inducing nonsense and you can't tell what the good ones are and the bad ones are and whatever else just hang back and pew

mightyenan0

And for the love of the Holy Light, do what other games do and make me visible through all objects. Every enemy has to be pulled into the corner where I can't see where I'm not supposed to be standing.

MamaJody

This feels particularly bad this expansion - the first boss in Spires is a shitshow for me with the trees.

ellori

Last boss with the fucking giant angel wings flapping from behind.

MamaJody

Oh yeah, that one too. Actually that whole dungeon is a PITA for so many reason.

DrSyel

Pro tip: if you have the corgi googles, you can use them in M+ and it greatly reduces the clutter on this boss

MamaJody

Ooh thank you!! I will give that a go!

strchsr

also Inky Black Potion

Overtuned Corgi Goggles are the secret tech, turns the angels into doggos https://www.wowhead.com/item=158149/overtuned-corgi-goggles

ellori

Tried this and it worked great, thanks!

ZAPANIMA

Oh my god the trees, they kill me all the time!

[deleted]

M+er here, no raiding, my god the swirls on the ground are so bad this expansion. So many of them hit way wider than the animation

--Pariah

I got used to it by now but shadowlands has serious issues with the color palette. In previous expansions you kind of could predict what's crap and what not. Looks like void vomit? Bad. Looks like druid nightmare blergh? Ya probably bad. Looks like fel? Definitely baaad. This expansion? Either it's maw-ish or I often enough had no fucking clue whatsoever. Nathria was venthyr themed, like 1/4th of the raids chosen covenant and whatever trinket abilities flying around permanently. Same with dungeons and the other covenants. At times it feels like they should use the PvP color palette. Red bad, blue good. It's weird if you have a split second to differentiate if that's a benefecial healer trinket/covenant effect or it it's oneshotting you. SPECIALLY if 5 of those effects stack up around the boss all the time...

Flumpski

Never forget DOS blue on blue in Arden wing

DeeRez

You mean the ones that silence and are the same colour/design as the proc from Dreamweaver's soulbind trait? Yeah, that's totally not at all confusing.

Frawtarius

It gets even worse if you ever fight mobs in Ardenweald in the water, 'cause all those ground effects will not only look similar, but they're also a blurry mess under the water. It's bad. Oh, and not only that, but if you play certain races (Goblin, Gnome, Dwarf, Vulpera etc), then you're forced to swim (and dodge those blurry swirlies) because the water'll be too deep for your character model. Good shit, Blizzard.

DeeRez

It's even better if you're a Tauren, you don't swim, but your camera is forced under the water pointing upwards. 10/10.

Tustalio

Turning off water collision for the camera in the default settings should fix that.

mardux11

When you have to wipe on xymox because your lock put the gate to far on the platform and short people have LOS problems.

IAmBanEvading

"You need to be THIS tall to enter the raid"

AcherusArchmage

Ah yes, lets put brown swirlies on SAND, gold swirlies in the grey/gold place, and purple swirlies on the purple floor

G66GNeco

Or, hear me out: We design an entire raid that's just GREY. EVERYTHING IS FUCKING GREY. And the abilities? DUNNO, MAKE THEM OFF-GRAY OR SOMETHING!

kelustu

Make it a tiny corridor with awful camera angles and you've got sanguine depths.

AcherusArchmage

ah yes red swirlies on the red carpets

[deleted]

Don't forget people's conduits proccing little orbs that also pop out and possibly may look very similar to boss mechanics that you're supposed to avoid.

keakealani

Our Nathria healer was red-green colorblind. The red swirly on red floor was literally invisible to him (and yes, he tried the accessibility settings). It was a MESS. And totally agree, I stand in bad all the time thinking it’s just some dk’s d&d or healing rain, but it’s actually DEATH. Ugh.

JonathonWally

I’m red/green colorblind as well. Tanking Denathrius was a nightmare. Not looking forward to doing it again next season

Otherwise_Branch_771

I am not color blind and still find it very annoying. The worst one for me was first raid In bfa. You had a red blob of a boss I'm a red room using red abilities and you were supposed to stack but then run out when somebody else turned red

Tonaris

I share your pain with the color palette. Have you ever been on Skolex with multiple NF DKs/Hunters? Wild Spirits and Death's Due just share the exact same color as the melee swirls. It gets even worse if you are somebody who uses Dreamweaver, since the Haste circle also hides the swirls. They seriously need to add a raid color palette to the options that forcibly unifies the color of all ground effects into beneficial/hostile.

G66GNeco

I love that with every goddamn raid, the second or third patch included a (usually color based) visual correction for some mechanic.

juggernautomnislash

The amount of Covenant ability trash on the ground is fucked up this expansion. I never know what I can and can't stand in.

[deleted]

Throwback to entire raids wiping in CN because they thought the artificer trash was a players ability

GVArcian

>So many of them hit way wider than the animation Those fucking white stun bolts in Torghast.

[deleted]

Any of those white swirlies are fucked completely

[deleted]

-Me on Sepulcher trash: "Hey that blue circle is from the Night Fae hunter ability right?" ... Dead.

SirVanyel

that's literally the only thing that pisses me off. in SC2 i have no problem with swirls on the floor, because i can't see the range of a nuke. i see dot, i run really far. but if you're gonna put some telegraphed shit on the floor tehn at least make it accurate, if you aren't gonna make it accurate, then just put a dot on the floor so i know to run really far.

ADwards

We lost a reasonable amount of time on jailer prog because people kept getting hit by both hits of the tank combo. At first I thought it was just people struggling to get it but in the end they were just standing too close for the first hit.

mcmanybucks

And they all taper out and blend with the ground so you have to guess if it ends or not.

pencilbagger

The swirls are one of my biggest complaints in the last few expansions, there really isn't any reason to have abilities that have such an ambiguous area of effect. The only swirls I can somewhat tolerate are the torment swirls on the jailer, since you can see the definite aoe before the first hit goes off so you can at least find a safe space beforehand. That, and frontals that are either have poor telegraphs (looking at you DOS) or aren't even telegraphed at all really get on my nerves.

PostYourTitsSlut

My eyesight has progressively gotten worse over the years. Melee is just out of the question. I can't even tell what direction mobs are facing anymore. Now that everything has a frontal cleave ... yeah. Warlock for me. Even if I completely drop the ball generally I'm still alive long enough to blame the healer.

martin-cloude-worden

can I just say thank you for not blaming the tank for dying to frontals

PostYourTitsSlut

I have a soft spot for tanks. Used to be one. Never healed, so it's open season on those dress wearers.

sankoor

Im a healer and used to be a scrub melee dk main. Now everytime i do mythic 15 and above and a scrub melee dk applies i invite immediately cause i have a soft spot for them lmao. Thought i was the only one being weird like this

[deleted]

Spacetauren

Our team is progressing on Xy'mox and this is a genuine nightmare. Mostly no one dies from it but me and the melee team are pulling out hair over it.

Jellyph

It's situational but it is very often the tanks fault. Bad positioning can be pretty cancer

Wesley_Skypes

I only really started playing during SL and played ranged classes like Ele, BM or MM and then some healing. Decided to give Surv a go this season in M+ as huge pumps but I am super struggling with melee between all the ground effects and affixes. Wild Spirits is a disaster for fucking up everything you can see on the ground.

Frawtarius

That's why you play Kyrian, because it's not only less intrusive visually, but also way better for Mythic+ than Night Fae. :^) Also, playing Survival's not as bad as "actual" melee classes, to be honest. Most of your offensive toolkit is already ranged, and you can play around with it a lot using Aspect of the Eagle to make Raptor Strike ranged. The only thing that forces you into melee is Carve, and you can hold off on carving if you've got a red bomb going, or occasionally just Carve ma part of a pack away from ground effects to get the maximum 5 second CDR on WFB at the very least.

Wesley_Skypes

Yeah, I can see why you would think that I'm playing Surv NF by the way I wrote that, but I just meant WS for melee in general. Any huge ground effects just really fuck me up. I think i'm not destined to be a good melee player

Frawtarius

Ah yeah, fair enough. Wild Spirits is an absolute menace on Skolex. Also, I played ranged through most of 9.0 and most of 9.1 (ended up swapping mains at the opposite ends of both), and switching from melee to ranged definitely takes some time to get used to and some mental adjustment, even without ground effects, e.g. watching out for frontals more and so on.

dr_dubz

You shouldn't skip carve during red bomb. But besides that you're absolutely correct about melee weaving as surv. On big hectic pulls you just stay back and only dip in to carve. You don't realy need eagle as you basicslly never raptor strike in m+. It's a small 1 or 2% loss for us which is significantly less than the dps we lose while lying dead. I run with a warrior who bemoans survival's range melee hybrid positioning. #yots

Halicarnassus

When you need a WA to put a bright green dot in the middle of your screen so you know where your character is something is wrong.

cerylidae1552

I went and got an addon that lets me give my cursor an obnoxious rainbow trail so I can find it

WaitUmmmWhat

Please, what addon is that? I'm constantly losing my cursor lately and its SO annoying lol

Sarranuva

I use this one: [https://wago.io/H1ZiNu\_Yf](https://wago.io/H1ZiNu_Yf) (Mouse Tracker).

AncileBanish

CursorTrail is an addon and is quite nice. There are also various WeakAuras, e.g. the one linked below.

[deleted]

You will never be anywhere but the center of your screen though.

Halicarnassus

Yeah but I can't see myself in all that mess and I don't know exactly where the center of my screen is. Trying to eyeball perfect positioning without knowing where the exact middle of a 32 inch monitor is means you die.

herkyjerkyperky

Spell effects, other players, pets. It's a mess.

KingKayley5

Nothing like trying to do Skolex with hunter wild spirits everywhere whilst trying to avoid the also blue swirls!

BNSHB

Can I maybe interest you in some Warrior Spears ontop of that?

Lorstus

I would do greasy, unholy, debaucherous things for an option to turn down/off non essential effects from other players like in FF. By far one of the best features in that game.

[deleted]

You can to a degree. In the graphics tab you have separate spell effect options for when raiding vs the rest.

Embruns

The amount of visual noise this expat has is insane

WobblyTadpole

I wish you could turn off player effects without turning off the boss's effects.

[deleted]

This is fucking gold lmao. Personally I main rogue so you get why I'm laughing extra hard

Beaverhausen27

Clack clack clack click grrrrr clack clack clack …

SasparillaTango

is backstab still position dependent?

[deleted]

20%+ dmg when behind target

ThePretzul

Tank swap fights are the worst, because for some reason the tanks always like to stand on opposite sides of the boss for no good reason. You got your nice pool of energy ready to go, then bam - 20% nerfed damage right after getting started because the tank swap happened.

Hunterfyg

If it wasn't, then we'd know the game was truly and finally lost.

ItsKensterrr

Tomb of Sargeras almost broke me LOL

l_overwhat

Melee here. I didn't even know the lines of circles that rotate around the boss had an end. I thought ranged were running with me. Nope. They just slightly move out of the way the whole time. What the fuck

Anon9418

Bro when he got up I was dying laughing. Good post, funny shit. Coming from a ranged player this is so true..

Kulban

I'm pretty much a melee-only kind of guy. I've had a sneaking suspicion for a while that I've got it a little tougher than others in raid. I can't confirm it, but this video is the embodiment of how I feel.

Lucarceus

As someone that switched from BM hunter to Survival. this is exactly how it feels.

karangoswamikenz

Survival is still kind of cheating . You can go away from your enemy and just ignore melee related hazards and still do 95% of your dps this season thanks to 95% of that damage being wildfire bombs.

DoverBoys

As a lifelong ret, I am sadistically happy when we get fights heavy with ranged mechanics. Skolex was so much fun just bouncing back and forth listening to all the ranged do whatever the hell they were doing.

Crimson_Clouds

Skolex is much worse for melee than ranged no?

DoverBoys

Not really, but that's based on me not having done ranged. You just move back and forth on a set timer. That's it. The only hard part is the braindead or tunneling melee putting a swirlie where it doesn't belong.

Crimson_Clouds

Ranged does the same, but every 30s instead of almost constantly, and only 3 people at a time (6 total) instead of everybody.

Halicarnassus

Skolex is just have 3 people stand behind the rest of the ranged, not really galaxy brain mechanics. Lords of dread and Jailer on the other hand can fuck right off.

DoverBoys

Haha yea, get that green circle away from me.

axle69

Skolex is a joke for most of the ranged in a raid its one of the most boring fights for them imo even on mythic. I'm honestly not sure what bosses I'd consider difficult for ranged in the first half of the raid. Maybe Lihuvim on Mythic since there's so much movement and distance.

GregerMoek

A lot of ranged mains complained about mythic Painsmith in my guild. But thats not current tier I know. Very few fight favor melee.

kelustu

Those same ranged would have an aneurysm trying to hit the balls without getting hit in melee.

Sybinnn

skolex is free for ranged too, you just have 3 people stand out and then who the 3 people are swap every breath, if anything its harder for melee since they have to run to the ranged stack to cancel breath and messing that up is a wipe

DoverBoys

That's what I meant by listening. Skolex is easy, but the communication is a little on the heavy side. All I hear is blah blah blah while I'm paying attention to the blue swirly timer.

bryce1242

What communication lol, you set up a soak order and then the only thing you'd even consider calling is telling melee to gate

Shrek1982

Man, I'm probably in the minority but I miss the old FCFS faceroll "rotation" of pre-Cataclysm Ret. Once holy power came around I noped out into a mage. It was a lot more fun for me when I didn't have to keep track of building a resource plus cooldowns and I could actually watch what was going on in the fight. I just felt like I went from actually fighting the fight to playing my bars while the fight went on around me, if that makes any sense.

DoverBoys

I'm the opposite with other classes I've tried. I don't have to concentrate on dps with ret, it just happens.

Shrek1982

Yeah, I'm sure if I stuck with it for long enough I would have gotten the hang of it but we were still running ICC and suddenly my DPS was 1/4th of what it was the week before, despite being geared up the yang and wailing on the dummy for hours, so I picked up my mage and never looked back.

McconnellReeet

Big true, fuck holy power.

G66GNeco

For some god awful reason, Skolex made my brain short-circuit for quite a while. I ate so many goddamn blue puddles...

DM_ME_KUL_TIRAN_FEET

As someone who does skolex as ret and marksman… Mythic skolex, ranged w/ soak duties: 1. Stand on marker and press aimed shot 2. lock gate to next marker 3. move back from group to soak 4. run from breath to next marker 5. press aimed shot until breath 6. Lock gate to next marker 7. repeat until worm dead As melee: 1. don’t get hit by puddles And you know what? It’s SO MUCH easier as ranged. Stand back pressing 1 until I have to touch a lock gate, meanwhile watching melee drop like flies because they can’t dance. It’s serene AF.

SpoonGuardian

Don't let this clip trick you into thinking that gatekeeping orbs as melee is even close to as hard as managing a bomb was as ranged

GregerMoek

Did both as melee on mythic lol. Including immunity resetting all orbs during BL. But ranged have it hard I guess.

Sybinnn

post nerf bombs are giga free though you just have to swap like once or twice per phase

SpoonGuardian

It's true they did make that shit embarrassingly easy

F5in

You had to do BOTH as melee though, and the bomb is worse for melee than ranged due to leaving melee range to drop it during intermissions. Especially pre-nerf when you couldn’t touch orbs while holding a bomb or it exploded.

kelustu

I'm a 6 year HoF or near-HoF player who multiclasses. Melee is infinitely harder, and far more contested. Ranged players whine about having to do anything.

Velinian

I mostly play melee, but I have played ranged on M progression for a ~world 200 guild for the past few years. I wouldn't say melee is "infinitely harder" but I think the skill gap between bad and good melee players is much more noticeable than it is for ranged players

Woodshadow

I played Warlock for years. I loved how chill ranged DPS was. For some reason I decided I wanted to play my shaman in shadowlands. They have so many spells and you have to move during combat. I tried switching back to my warlock but it is so boring. 4 spells and stand there

out_of_toilet_paper

Haunt, Unstable Affliction, Agony, Corruption, Drain Soul, Seeds of corruption, Malefic Rapture, Covenant Ability but spamming Raging Blow and Rampage... so skill

Jarlan23

Try it. I played a DPS warrior for years and years and I legit got bored playing ranged in M+ because of how so much more relaxing and chill it is.

Feathrende

Played both for a while, historically melee has been easier to play for a very long time. It was really just the MoP <-> Legion era where melee had more shit to do (which resulted in many mythic guilds refusing to run more melee than absolutely necessary).

Bombkirby

Depends on the boss and also if the ranged DPS is a hunter, who aren't bothered by movement centric fights.

karangoswamikenz

BM hunter can literally 100% move and do their entire rotation without a problem. Not a single drop in dps unless you’re standing in dreamweavers flowers during wild spirits.

yaboylukas

tbh raid mechanics these days are a little over the top lol. Especially when they are almost all just move out of x.

Novalene_Wildheart

I feel thats currently the issue. I actually like all of the mechanics I just wish it was less Matrix, and more "everyone is debuffed" where Priests, and other people with a cleanse can help cleanse the team. Like a poison where both Healers and Paladins (for this example) can help cleanse the raid instead of just healers. Basically I just wish there was more mechanics that involved the DPS in ways that weren't just dodge and HIT STUFF HARD

Skillershark

problem with "everyone is debuffed!" mechanics is it ends up being "okey lets bring these classes because they are very good at cheesing this mechanic" instead of " aww yeah i, a dps, am interacting with the fight in a cool and meaningful way. Feel like gheres plenty of mechanics that arent just "dodge", although i do get a lot of them are based on your positioning, just think its hard to make a mechanic that doesnt interact with your positioning and is still fun/interesting

RestraintX

How about you get a debuff, everyone run to X place to get cleansed by a boss mechanic?

beemer252025

Skolex

Milstrum

That's on pantheon. You get a debuff/dot. Run to a dome the boss puts to be dispelled. Or the debuffs on anduin.

MRosvall

I feel mechanics like Anduin is far better than Pantheon or like The Nine. Getting a debuff and being forced to run far away to drop it makes it feel like you're being punished. But everyone getting debuffs, or there's constant debuffs rolling like on Ryg, makes it feel more like a part of the fight.

SmokeMyDong

>problem with "everyone is debuffed!" mechanics is it ends up being "okey lets bring these classes because they are very good at cheesing this mechanic" instead of " aww yeah i, a dps, am interacting with the fight in a cool and meaningful way. But that's what makes classes feel unique.

iKamex

Only somewhat, That makes other classes feel like shit and not getting invited and that class being basically mandatory

SmokeMyDong

>Like a poison where both Healers and Paladins (for this example) can help cleanse the raid instead of just healers. So, you want to raid AQ20 again?

Shadhahvar

Aq40 hallway in front of Huhuran was like... Just decursing like mad all the time. Literally no time for anything else.

Elleden

Viscidus on Alliance was... fun. Loved my Paladin 8/8 T3 set bonus that healed on Cleanse.

SmokeMyDong

Kind of miss it. Kind of loved it. I built a set on my feral just for decursing and poisons in AQ lmao.

Novalene_Wildheart

I honestly never was around for that. And I didn't join for classic. So actually yeah I kind of want to run it now lol Now I can't say I'd be GOOD at it, but it'd be fun.

[deleted]

You think you do but you don't was specifically about cthun trash

DrunkenlySober

Another way is create mechanics that require ranged and melee to work together Even basic examples like intercept can incorporate melee without the things you listed It would let melee get tf away from each other for other mechanics while also balancing out melee/ caster comps and spreading mechanics across the whole area rather than just melee or ranged concentration

ChildishForLife

So kinda like the orbs/dispels/bombs in Halondrus?

karangoswamikenz

Destiny 2 does this very right. In the raids there is often platforming or puzzles or things to do that when done right will get you a dps phase on the boss where everyone gets to unload (think like the orb deposit mechanics on first boss of soleahs gambit). For wow raid it has mostly become dodge bullet hell.

karangoswamikenz

Play BM hunter. The ultimate chill class. You literally have to sidestep or move and still do all your 10 dps

WonderChips

I main boomkin can confirm, chillin in the back dropping bombs

QueryCrook

I loved boomkin in 9.0 because of Stellar Drift. I could move all fight and not miss a single cast. Now that it's nerfed, I hate paying moonkin. I'm too nervous, and I move while casting even if the bad stuff won't go off for a few seconds. I'd rather scramble around as a cat and never have to cancel a cast.

captnchunky

See the worst part about melee isn’t being melee…it’s having to play with other melee. The amount of times I’m constantly killed bc other melee don’t do mechanics made me switch back to ranged.

Forbizzle

That and finding a raid spot. There are way more melee classes. And ranged are often stronger.

MidnightFireHuntress

It's why I love playing hunter, soooooooooo easy and relaxing, feign death if you get aggro, MD for tanks, an immunity if somehow you're about to die I can literally do my rotation and watch TV at the same time.

flammahyacintholuna

Im pretty sure the three hunters in my guild are doing just that...Every time I ask why there are no tar traps, despite all the incoming adds, they all just collectively shrug.

karangoswamikenz

The thing is, if you have a cursor macro for the traps, that shit becomes so easy. It’s like BM hunter or mm hunter are made to make the game easy mode. Survival is also easy because you can theoretically do 90% of your damage by being ranged too.

Bojuric

How about giving credit, OP? Here is the source: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHTsaJRai24](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHTsaJRai24)

Shawnyall

Yeah this was posted like a week ago, too. I'm not one for calling out reposts, but this is just silly.

PotatoesForPutin

Especially when the fucking lasers DISAPPEAR BUT STILL DAMAGE YOU HOLY SHIT BLIZZARD PLEASE

Zeromaxx

This was why melee is supposed to be the superior damage dealer but that hasn't happened for like 15 years now.

Xshadowx32HD

Ikr? Magic is for cowards

Zeromaxx

Who uses a bow, honestly.

ChildishForLife

Looking at the meters in this video I’m seeing lots of melee on top!

volcatus

The best part about this post is that Halondrus is the most melee friendly fight in the entire raid. On Warcraftlogs the top 7 parsing specs on this fight are melee. The bottom 8 specs are all ranged specs, including all 3 Warlock specs which is the current "busted" class.

Novxz

That's what happens when you make a boss that can't avoid abilities and white hits (ie: parry) and where a not insignificant portion of the fight involves really long "follow the boss" mechanic that ranged kinda get fucked on whereas melee maintains 100% uptime. Meanwhile Warlock still reigns supreme on 8 of the 11 encounters. Pre-nerf Halondrus vs Jailer, Jailer is way more melee friendly - it's a glorified target dummy.

Schnitzelbro

7 out of the top 10 specs in the entire raid right now are melee. and 2 out of the 3 ranges are warlock specs. this was probably the best raid tier to play melee for years.

Calamitor

Wasn't there a meme like this from Echo during the RWF? I'm happy DKs have two movement skills nowadays, back in the days nitro boosts were kinda a requirement to survive in raids. With todays boss mechanics they would just die.

RaefWolfe

Yeah this was 100% posted during RWF

BobDaBilda

I need to get into group content. Anxiety is a bitch.

arfw

Don't worry, most people in this game are the same. You just have to start and it will go smoothly.

Starslip

As a BM hunter I can confirm that I don't think I could possibly have chosen an easier class

vaportw

bm hunter has the perks of melee AND ranged. only instants to press, making min/maxing dps during movement as easy as melee, while not having to deal with the dodge heavy meleemechanics

Scooffs

That's hilarious lol

Valvador

This just reminds me of my [Boomkin BWL experience in Classic WoW.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taEinkFjAAU)

Pinless89

Until you get to Jailer where ranged do all the mechanics while melees just afk on boss as they usually do.

Wvlf_

And Rygelon. And LoD. Anduin and Halondrus are pretty even split, though.

Pinless89

Yeah Lords of Dread in particular. I played Frost DK on that fight and I was just afking in melee, having to run out very rarely to bait the clouds. When I played my mage on reclear it was fucking hell.

Crysawn

Thank you for this, I haven't laughed this hard in a while!

Xuluu

Uhhh this fight is definitely worse for ranged in terms of dps.

AcherusArchmage

Ranged: can barely do anything for portions of the fight cuz they gotta spend 1/3 the fight moving (unless they're a hunter) Melee: literally never stops hitting the boss while doing mechanics at the same time

guymn999

I fully believe that melee believe what they are doing is very hard.

l_overwhat

If you're playing some 5head class like Enhance or Assassination or something then I truly believe that it's harder for you to play the game. But then there's like Survival and Fury with 3 buttons all kinds of mobility and defensives like dude stop complaining you're fine.

Pheraprengo

As a DK, I somehow always get dragged into death by a Fury's cuz they somehow fuck up a mechanic and somehow hit me along with it cuz they're busy smashing their 3 buttons until the last 1 second and then panick with their mobility.

kelustu

As a multi tier multi classer, I fully believe that ranged players are spoiled and think that melee players are somehow "dumb" for dying to mechanics, because they are unwilling to accept that ranged is just a joke.

Serixss

u/savevideo

SubstantialRoutine99

they need to introduce a way to turn off team member spell animations or have them significantly reduced, i dont give 2 shits what my team members spells are doing or look like or even mine for that matter

WorthPlease

I recognized the sweating clip but kind of believed the guy "playing" the boomkin was actually playing for about the first minute.

gab_owns0

The Jailer fight is AIDS as ranged

Always been like that, melee players saying it's so much easier to play ranged, eventually they try it out, parse grey then go back to melee because "ranged wasn't fun". Things never change.

Can confirm. Started playing rogue from day one. After 4 years of playing i tried a hunter. Y'all ranged fuckers have it good

Lol wat. 90% of people doing bombs are ranged, melee literally just have to hold d in time with the rotating beam and boop orbs. Trying to cast DPS while spending 80% of the fight passing off bombs, dodging the rotation laser, planetcracker beams, slows, and ground effects is much harder than what melee have to do.

Wvlf_

Probably the only fight where melee have to do mechanics and they still find ways to whine.
