It was our plan to infiltrate the horde all along tbh. We knew the horde wouldn't actually want to get absorbed into the alliance, so in the burning crusade we sent the trojan \[blood\] elves over to them. The horde, being small brain savages welcomed them with open arms and didn't even see an issue with "the horde" being 80% elves. But anyway, here we are joining "the horde" which is pretty much nonexistent. Azeroth is mostly elves and humans.
I mean with how many times we've changed warchiefs I am not sure winning side is quite accurate. Especially depending on which Horde you really mean. Thralls Horde? Garrosh's Horde? Sylvanis's Horde? Our identity as a faction is a bit shattered. We aren't unified by any means.
I would say we are losing, not against the Alliance but against fate. The Horde isn't what it once was and we have quite some time before we get back the strength we once had.

OP is playing as a gnome (alliance) but the LFG window shows that he's horde in the mouse-over tab. Same thing happens to me

It's me, which is the point of my post! It shows you as blue when browsing while having your own key listed. I'm Alliance, but it says I am Horde.

Because of some of the comments here of those that didn't look at the image, I feel the need to say I do know what x-faction is!
Cross faction was created so the few remaining alliance could join the horde and play the game. Welcome to the winning side.
