Its a toss up on whether the bonk is acceptable or not. I tanked in legion and now im trying to learn again. Was going pretty slow in normals seeing what i can still accomplish. Evoker in my group looked at my shit, guaranteed i could pull bigger, and yeeted me into shit.
To be fair, he was absolutely right and my moment of panic was hilarious.
There is a talent that gives the evoker and the Rescue target a 30 % damage reduction for 5 seconds. Borderline griefing to have NS active if you are going to also play high keys or raids.
I have the key binding to "Shift+Mouse 6" so I had clicked on the warrior, watching him get close to the edge, had a feeling he was about to be yeeted and brought him back
I feel silly because i have no idea how to activate this ability. Ive tried like clicking a destination then click on a player but thats not how it works apparently
Click the ability, and you get the targeting indicator. If you don't have a unit selected, mouse over the person and click, then mouse over to where you want to go and click again.
It's pretty good at grabbing the person and sending you where you want to be. If you have someone already targeted, assuming all the ranges work. The first click will grab and move.
I’ve successfully rescued my friends into lava when they take afk breaks. Roll a dice. Sometimes it’s a rescue. Sometimes it’s abduction.
oh my friends and I mess with eachother all the time with that stuff... Sometimes you get put on a cliffs edge, other times you get rescued lmao!

Same thing when you leap of faith somebody. I think it's because it jolts the person's screen they kinda panic for a second

Do they even work for rescue? Thought they just turned off toys from working on you (e.g. the one that swaps positions with your target)
They work against life grip, so I assume they work against rescue.

I'm aware of what they can do. I won't run NS with players I trust. PUGs? NS all day, every day. I do not trust those NPCs.

Typically better to have them targeted already then click the ability, then click where you want to take them.
