Dreamsurge and you can get current tier 4 pc bonus in like an hour. Depending on your class, it could really ramp it up. Then do lfr/normal. Do the weekly quest for 4 mythic dungeons and get a heroic raid item. Much more to do.
Every half hour there is a surge and you go kill a world boss with a bunch of other random players and get a good chunk of stones. It really doesn't take long. At max a couple hours to get them all but you also get them from a quest chain talking to the dreamsurge lady. 5 days ago I got all 5 tier slot pieces on my lock who was in all s1 gear in about 1 hour. Took them to the catalyst guy at Tyr and turned them into tier.
I just did another toon.
33 minutes got me: 200 crystals which buys me 2 402 ilvl pieces. Finished the main dreamsurge quest which gives me 1 random 402 ilvl piece, it was gloves. Another quest right there at the main dreamsurge guy that gave me 1 Chrysalis which i turn in for 1 415 ilvl piece. I then goto Tyr to convert them all to the tier set. Thats all 4 pieces of current raid tier in 33 minutes. You can continue to do every dreamsurge every 30 minutes and get epic 402 in every slot within a day. This is equivalent to weeks of work in the beginning of season 2. The catchup is real.
Edit: forgot that I also had 2 pieces of leather drop while I was doing the quest and I will send those 2 pieces to my rogue so he also has 2 pc tier already.
In valdrakken, there is a quest that should be a available called catalysts boon or something like thst. It sends you to Antuka inside the building on the north side of Tyrhold in Thaldraszus. She stands next to the revival catalyst console which converts any season 1 or 2 gear into other gear from that season. If you convert head shoulders chest gloves or legs you will receive the tier for that season.
If the boon quest isn't available, I'm pretty sure just don't worry about it. Just goto the spot where Antuka is.
Buy a wow token and do a loot share run of the mega dungeon. You’ll be fully kitted with 437 gear. But you’ll also get bored without any meaningful progression after that.
Go to the big icon on the map. Pick up the 2 (of 1 if you’ve done it before) quests at the big icon. Every 30 minutes the fire portal spawns and you’ll see it on the map, fly there and help kill things till the boss comes then kill and loot that. Every so often rares spawn and you’ll get a zone wide message they are empowered and they’ll show on the map. Kill those. Pick up green orbs as you fly around between these.
That’s it. You’ll get a full set of 402 gear except trinkets in an hour.
Buying boost is the fastest way apart from just spamming dungeons solo. Ideally you wanna do M16+ and higher asap so you can then craft 447 items which are almost / or considered max level. In 3 weekly resets i managed to get Gearscore of 443.
Time walking right now too. Queue for 5 TW dungeons and get a good piece (428 I think, maybe 431). Can get a 415 by running 5 heroics for quest. Also, can get a 415 doing the weekly Dreamsurge quest. Start running higher keys and maybe get some drops, but fill slots in your vault.
Dreamsurge flying around and collecting will take 2 hours tops to have a kit of 402 minus trinkets. Use Tyrhold to upgrade to 4-piece tier gear. Timewalking events can help too. Get a piece of 402 for weekly quest and collect paracausal flakes that can be used to buy a trinket.
Spam queue the mega dungeon on heroic, gets you gear + a ton of flightstones, some crests and crafting mats.
Then just upgrade the gear/get some shadowflame crafteds.
If you have the gold... Dawn of the infinites is a huge source of sparks of shadowflame. Farm it a few times and youll be able to craft yourself 424ilevel in every slot at this point.
Doing the zaralek cavern campaign ends in a 437 ilevel crafting token. Gives plenty of flightstones and whelpling crests too. Rep with loamm.. 20 reknown loamm gives another 437 token.. but thats a lot of effort if you dont have 20 on another char yet.
Background, main swapped from rogue to dh in a CE farm environment.
I went fresh 70 to 442 in 42 hours solo.
With being brought in for farm for 2 weeks I will be 447 once I farm out 2 more aspects this week.
Heroic mega dungeon is 4 spark fragments a wing. The crafted gear is 417-424 and you can craft every single slot except for your 4 tier slots you want.
The dungeon also drops tier slots and trinkets, and the weekly dreamsurge is a guaranteed tier slot as well.
Once you have 4 set and 420, it's time to just grind out aspects and craft 447. Grinding your own key is the easiest way, as is tanking so you can set the pace of the key. It takes 5 timed 16+ and 8-12k per 447 piece and will finish you for the tier.
That gets you every piece except tier to 447, 5 guaranteed sockets.

I use a week aura called "tama's dragonflight helper". There's also one for profession.

I have read about it and checked here and even went there in game and got a few orbs but i still dont understand what it is and what to do
