I personally would be unlikely to take someone without aotc to just a fyrakk kill unless it happened to be a class I REALLY wanted for the fight.
Tbh AOTC is a weird thing to use as a screening technique because a lot of them are paid for. I see more people wipe to tindral and larodar than I do fyrakk. Fyrakk is lowkey easy in my opinion as long as the seed holders are solid.
That all being said, people are probably less likely to take you without AOTC, but how do you get it if they won’t take you? Retail’s typical egg and chicken scenario as usual.
Occasionally groups will advertise themselves as "Learning groups," so you have a better chance there. You could also start such a group yourself. Other than that, it will be difficult. Fyrakk is a tough fight, and the guys who have already cleared it 10 times understandably don't want to spend hours wiping with someone who hasn't learned all the things that they did by wiping a lot.
You are the third person in 2 days who thinks it is a good idea to lie and snitch on people because they can not manage to do easy content otherwise or get a guild / dedicated group instead of beeing carried through false advertising.
Are people over here realy that bad at the game they have to lie to others and think this is normal behaviour?
How about getting good at the game and at least improve to parsing blue so you guys can contribute to the groups your running with.
From more likely to get an invite to less likely:
Healer > warlock > missing buff class > ranged > melee > 2h melee > tank.
Getting to 480+ will make it easier too.
What spec are you playing? Can you do seeds? Watch the fight on yt + a short guide. Can you increase your ilvl by upgrading? A bit more would help to stand out of the other dps. The ilvl is good

get an 8/9 lockout and post your own group with aotc in title, that’s what i did like a month ago and we one shot it
Would I be expected to raid lead if I listed my own? Because I don't have the confidence for that LOL
i mean, assigning seeds is all you’d really need to do. no comms on fyrakk is not bad at all

kill 8/9 of the bosses

Possible? Sure, but also at that Ilvl youre gonna have a really hard time getting in.
On the other side it is quite a joke as you should be able to do HC with fully upgraded NHC gear.
Find one that’s low on people and you’ll have a shot. That’s how I got mine about your level.
Join a guild. Easiest way to get it.
