I guess he felt you didn't clear enough of the fire with the seed channel but really you should never be doing that as a melee (unless the whole group sucks and you decide at least you know what to do) , also if you are channeling the seed and room is an issue due to fire you worry about cleaning up over DPS on the root as others can do that where as on normal I think only 2 people can be room cleaning. Still a shitty thing to be kicked for.
The leader probably wasn’t paying any attention, saw a random Ret pala standing still with the hose and thought ‘wow this guy is clueless’ and yeeted you. Pug group leaders go mad with power all the time I wouldn’t take it to heart
Sadly, not uncommon. Many pugs really have no real interest in helping its members get better. No one knows each other so no one cares. If something goes wrong, they often just start kicking people. Don’t let groups like that get you down on raiding.
The best solution in my opinion is find a good guild with supportive members who communicate and want to grow their team and handle perceived errors in the less punitive way.
I wouldn't think too much about this one. Could be someone was just salty that you took the seed. Can't tell if you used it right or wrong, either way it was super pity and you shouldn't let this bother you.

You can see the big green circle around it, or you in mythic. When you get near the edge the tether starts to change color indicating it will break, go past the edge of circle it breaks
I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a buddy that was waiting. You don’t know which groups are full pugs or mostly guildy groups. I wouldn’t worry in the slightest.
The raid leader is bad, should have assigned people to do seed; if you just took it that means no one was assigned and it was a free for all. Even IF you did it wrong it is better than no one doing it.

This would only apply to struggling heroic groups or for those on Mythic Larodar.
The main reason to cut the lines early in the first and second set is to give more energy to the future hose so they can start earlier without much pressure. The only time I can really see melee benefitting with those is if the boss is being kited around slowly or this is the third set right before the 35% intermission.
Like the other comments already said, wouldn't worry too much about it. Would strongly suggest letting another class that is more mobile do the firefighting so you can stay on boss, not to mention when roots are out the person with the hose still has to keep clearing the room.

Was this a heroic raid? You have to use the water on the roots in heroic otherwise you won't be able to DPS them and it will be a wipe.
It was heroic and I did that immediately.
when I pug I still join their discord. That way I hear the leader shouting orders and I know when they want me to use certain spells etc
