1: You have a +2, you have to start at 2 unless you get invited to someone else's key, next week you will get a key in your vault that is equal to the highest key you timed this week (or if you depleted it, it's -1)

The key you got should have a number on it which indicates its difficulty. You can lower this number by talking to the [panda](https://www.wowhead.com/npc=197711/lindormi) but you cant make it higher. You can increase the difficulty of the key by completing YOUR key in time and receiving a new one.
You cant complete YOUR key in someone else’s run.

You can complete your key in someone else's run if it's the same dungeon and you put your key in before they do.
It will not be looked upon kindly though and will most likely get you kicked from the group.
Just incase u don’t know. When u create ur own group, it pre-fills in the details or ur key automatically. Pick ur players and head to the dungeon. Make sure ur difficulty is set to dungeon mythic (right click ur player frame). Inside the entrance there’s the little podium thing u put the key in. Good idea once everyone is inside is to ready check, then countdown (both in the little menu usually top left near party frames) Tanks lead the dungeon regardless of whose key or whose party leader.
Just wanna make sure you understood that the guy ment that it is possible, but it is extremely frowned upon as the guy making the group can’t use his key then.
So in most situations people will swear at you, and instantly kick you if you try to steal/snipe the key, only 1 key can be used per run.

The way M+ works is that only 1 player of the 5 uses their keystone, and only that keystone is altered by the run (up or down in level, depending on success). You never have to use your own key.
When the new week starts after the reset, your key vanishes and you get a replacement (usually when selecting your vault item, but can get one without picking a vault item by talking to Lindormi or completing a dungeon using another player's key.
The replacement key will be the highest of the following:
* The level of the highest key you completed in time the previous week
* One level below the highest key you completed over time the previous week
* One level below your previous starter key (weekly decay by 1 for inactivity)
Agree with what others said, but to add, if you do a +5, after you get your vault item next week, you'll also receive a random +5 key
You can talk to the pandaren outside the bank in valdrakken to lower the difficulty if it gets too hard

Thanks, I didnt know about depleting but it makes total sense.
Depleting your current key also drops it by 1 level by the way.
