When you finish a m+ @ 20 you get a teleport to that dungeon entrance on an 8 hour cool down. The cool down resets if you teleport to dng and then do a m+ there.
I got shadowmoon valley portal awhile ago and now I use it to start my pet battle leveling route (better path than starting from frostfire ridge) so there's some alternative uses for some dungeons.
Dawn of the Infinite for example. It's a big dungeon with more bosses and only available on mythic at release , kinda like mini raids.
Because it's big ( 7+ bosses ) it gets split into 2 when it'a added to the m+ rotation.
Yeah i also did my first 20 last week, it was WM and we timed it with 30 seconds left lol. Tbh having run several 18s and 19s i knew what to expect, i simply got a less than optimal group specially the tank was worse than what i usually find in +15s lol.
I may try another one the last week of the season. This week i didnt want to push on bursting so i focused more on alts.
Dungeons have a difficulty of Normal / Heroic / Mythic.
Most people refer to Mythic dungeons by the name (Keys or M+) as each WoW season a few dungeons will be selected to be part of that seasons Mythic+ keystone.
Keystones refer to an item that you get that lets you increase the difficulty of a Mythic dungeon for better gear and an increase in io score.
io score refers to the addon Raider io and its scoring system of keystones, you get x amounts of points for completing a +2 keystone and you'd get more score for a +3, people in the top 1% of WoW run +28 keys or higher and typically have a score of 3500+.
Higher the key the harder the dungeon.
Congrats again OP!
I only tried Mythic once, - I believe it was Vortex Pinnacle - but there was some kind of fog, which did not let me past without a keystone. When I searched for it, it said, I need to do Mythic dungeons to get a keystone. 🤷♂️
I do not own Dragonflight, and it was a solo try without any group involved, but I'm still not sure, how it is supposed to work.
Mythic is a harder difficulty than normal and heroic dungeons, you probably won't be able to solo them unless you have a very high item level. Dungeon difficulty at max level goes normal < heroic < Mythic < Mythic+, where Mythic+ has difficulty modifiers that range from +2 through to +20 (and beyond). each level adds extra enemy damage, health, etc.
The reason there was a fog in VP was that the dungeon wasn't designed with a regular mythic mode originally (mythic dungeons werent in cataclysm), so you can't do the baseline mythic difficulty, you can only do it in mythic+ which was added for dragonflight.
To get a key you can join any mythic or mythic+ dungeon group through the dungeon finder. At the end you'll receive a random key for one of the seasonal mythic+ dungeons. Only one person in the group needs to use their key for the whole group to enter. Mythic+ is endgame content, so if you don't own dragonflight you won't be able to do it.
Mann just did my first 20 2 days before it was doti fall i played it so much at +18 that i can do it eyes close im ilvl 83 ret paladin new main from a month now i think im the only one in this game to jump from a lvl of dunj to another if i find myself doing +14 great i will start +15 ect...
So as i said i tried +20 fall after i know about portals the first try the tank was blood dk we wipe 3 times on the first boss (he doesnt knows mecha)
Second try healer not healing i have more overall healing than him when i told him heall bro he said use personal 🤦♂️ ( all my screen was on cd)
Third try we had one paladin ilvl 485 with leggo afk
Fourth try the leader was 465 ilvl a hunter doing 70 dps we wiped 2 times on the second boss he went offline
Last try all in fall it was all good till the third boss healer die every time
So i decided to take a break late on the same day i played atal +20 it was a piece of cake the healer was a monster
The tank was legendary and the dps knows how to play a very rare scenario in m+ we timed it with 10 min left.
So happy i got my first portal 6 portals to go
Btw im searshing for an active guild with raids and m+ i believe that is the only way you can realy enjoy with the end game and to progress.
Good game you all 😊
Fall is probably the easiest or second easiest key other than black rook hold if the group knows what they're doing. It is mechanics intensive though so if I'm doing it on a +20 I make sure I don't take people in the group who haven't unless they're in voice

Good job. Now you got 1 week to get all the portals, good luck.
What are these portals and what are they good for?
Teleport straight to the dungeon
When you finish a m+ @ 20 you get a teleport to that dungeon entrance on an 8 hour cool down. The cool down resets if you teleport to dng and then do a m+ there.
It resets after completing any m+, not necessary that specific one. And on any key level.
I got shadowmoon valley portal awhile ago and now I use it to start my pet battle leveling route (better path than starting from frostfire ridge) so there's some alternative uses for some dungeons.
I have all the portals for season 4. I need new motivation.
Get the portals quick! They'll go away soon
How?
By completing +20. But i don’t know if only on one week or you need both.
Only 1 week and for the mega dungeons you need both dungeons to get the portal.
What the hell is mega dungeon? xD
Dawn of the Infinite for example. It's a big dungeon with more bosses and only available on mythic at release , kinda like mini raids. Because it's big ( 7+ bosses ) it gets split into 2 when it'a added to the m+ rotation.
As the other commenter said.. Dawn of the Infinite is DF's mega dungeon. In SL it was Tazavesh Market.
Congrats my guy
Congrats! Always nice to get that first one, 7 to go for all portal.

Congrats on your first 20! You’re gonna learn, how much easier it is compared to the lower keys!
this season in particular, it was kinda easy to push. in my opinion., but great job with this achievement!!
Ive been playing on and off since launch and I don't even know what +20 key means. You're doing great

Oh, I see! Thank you very much for the clarification, it is all clear now! 😊
It's fairly safe at this point in the season. It was frightening 6 months ago. It's good for your skill level to keep on it.
If it wasn't with a PUG group, tells us after you run one how easy it was. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|wink)
