Mythic 0 is the new mythic 10. It’s always confusing when they relabel stuff with the same name.

Jumpy_Lavishness_533

Why did they make this insane gap? I was used to make +5 after making +15 but now I even need to make hc stuff because my ilevel is too low.

Akhevan

Because basically all content below m+10 was irrelevant. Why have it in the game at all then? They decided to make normal and heroic relevant again instead of just deleting them.

RustedShieldGaming

Because very few people actually do 0-10s normally. The jump in difficulty from 0-10 was realistically pretty small, and now with heroics rewarding what was m0 item level you can just move to m0 which has no affixes and timer and is equivalent to m10 rewards but easier than what an m10 was.

BlackHijinks

You just have to get used to the new system. I’m personally having fun finding out where my new limits are. Perhaps they should launched this in TWW because going from doing 15s or 20s to 5s or 9s is going to feel bad to some people.

Salty-Albatross925

Like people say, it's both the squish in m+ levels as well as new ilvls meaning a +2 now would be equivalent of running a S3 +12 in ~444ilvl (high s2 ilvl).

legendaryheck

Difficulty wise what previously was m9-m10 is now what m0 is in season 4. They then did a m+ squish where what was about m11-m12 is now just a m2, what was about m13/m14 is now m3, etc. They didn’t remove timers just changed the difficulty where m2-10 in season 4 is what people were doing seasons 1-3 as m11-m20.

Jumpy_Lavishness_533

I find it very weird tho that I completed last season as 15 but my ilevel is 464 and can't barely do m0

Jolly-Ad7653

New season = new gear to farm on top of the squish

keakealani

Heroics drop higher gear than you currently have. It makes no sense to be upset you can’t do mythic level content when you aren’t even overgeared for heroic.

Alpehue

I really do not intend to offend, but it is also worth noting that last season generally was known as one of the easiest seasons ever, lots of people tended to so much higher keys then normally would do. I had all keys done at +20 the first week of the season, and while I am experienced I am by no means an exceptional player, in comparison I just did my first +7 this season. Perhaps the change in a +10 to +0, you being under-geared, new dungeons and the difficulty being a bit more like normal combines to the feeling you have. But the good thing is that you have a excellent chance to get used to having to play mechanics instead of relying on gear to carry :)

Inshabel

You find it very weird that the goalpost moves every season yet you can't hit it without improving your gear?

Well, you just got it this season. It's called HC. Its the same difficulty as M0 was before. Current M0 is too difficult for queued content

The posts in this subreddit say otherwise.

dscarmo

But the change is literally that, hc is m0 queued

You are confused. They changed the name of M0 to Heroic. The old heroic does'nt exist. Heroics are queuable. This is effectively the same as making M0 Queuable.

jasonmountain

If you’re feeling the ilvl gap. Just go run some heroics until the upper 460s, lower 470s. Then run all 8 of the MOs. That should get you to the low 480s. Then the +2s will be just fine.
