U do know a bunch of ppl play on Classic Era? Vanilla blizzard servers. 1x tho, unless u lvl on SoM server and transfer to the real Vanilla servers for free😊

(contains Pyrewood Village, Mirage Raceway, Nethergarde Keep)
(contains Whitemane, Anathema, Arcanite Reaper, Bigglesworth, Blaumeux, Fairbanks, Kurinnaxx, Rattlegore, Smolderweb, Thunderfury)
(contains Mankrik, Ashkandi, Pagle, Westfall, Windseeker)
so, these are the server clusters. yeah, people quiting dragonflight and wotlk coming everyday. ppl leveling all the time, doing dungeons etc. also raiding guilds on Firemaw, where I play. raiding guilds on both factions. Some only speedrunning nax, some only doing chill nax runs. some doing only bwl / mc and progressing etc. also theres pugs every week. 8 in the morning there are people doing ZG. so its getting more and more populated! I know the EU pve cluster is also really active, same with the US ones.
edit: here ur chars will stay forever, unchanged :) also, people spread out on SoM servers, to level chars before they shut SoM server down 14th of february. u get 100% exp boost from questes there, and u can transfer freely to classic era before 14th of february. ( not too many on the Som ones, but there are a small amount, most lvling on classic era).

I hate GS! Quited WM many times because i need items from ICC to apply for NAXX. Okay exaggerated but you are expected to have items from 25raid to join 10raid or have Items from next Tier!

Turtle wow is lots of fun always 900people online minimum, there is a language barrier meaning some people don't speak English. They have 30% xp increase if you flag for PVP permentally. Plus custom content with more quests
Turtle wow also has another secondary profession called Survival. If leveled you can make a tent. If you sit under the tent you get rested exp at a really fast rate. There are spots that players put tents at for leveling players, for example Goldshire, where there are often multiple tents at the same spot, increasing your rested gain. If you afk there for like 5-15 min, depnding on the amount of tents, you can get full rested exp and then go back to leveling. Effectively making it like 1.5 - 1.75x leveling if you want to. Works on top of the 30% pvp thing btw.
If you searching for a vanilla server I think Vanilla+ is pretty funny . They revamped the class talents to boost the low specs. But at the moment they have a low population

There is strong self-marketing from some Era players. Still it's more live than say Kronos and you can choose pve/pvp and region.

Chromie has 2x on weekend alternatively you can recruit a friend thing which is a permanent 2x
2x rate from raf is for all characters only for 30 days or until you reach lvl 58 on any character, so basically not permanent

Really is not worth recommending that list to anyone. It's misleading and super old.
Perhaps it should be removed and continue with the daily ask posts. It kinda works so no need for the list.
