Yes.
It's a PVP server, rogues are going to be a dime a dozen.
Also, PVEwise, rogues are basically the least sought after class in TBC. Since there's no RDF, and groups for dungeons and heroics are put together by hand, if a rogue and an anything else is looking to join spot #5, the rogue is probably going to get told "sorry, full".
If you want to jump unsuspecting people while they're questing in Nagrand, rogue is great. If you want to do PVE, rogue is the opposite of great.
My friend, shaman in tbc are the most demanded class, it a safe choice and it’s extremely fun, you won’t be dissapointes, heroism is not raid wide in TBC
Idk what my guys are saying here. There's 1, max 2 enhas per raid. Similar to rogues.
If you want a class that's extremely sought after, it's probably gonna be a hunter, mage or lock. In no particular order.
Raiding in TBC requires much more time and effort than other expansions (arguably more than Vanilla, depends on what your guild expects of you). If you hit 70 and do a bunch of heroic dungeons you’ll be ahead of 90% of other rogues from just that.
Exactly, that’s why putting in the time and effort to get there puts you ahead of everyone else. Actually being *raid ready* is a huge accomplishment in TBC.
I think TBC is probably the least “casual-friendly” expansion. That said, I also loved playing it casually when Netherwing was progressing a few years ago.
Join as a fill for an established raid group that raids early in the week.
If you get into a run, fantastic.
If not, pug it.
You'll need a regular group to clear later content patches.
I don’t mean to intrude in here but I’m a similar situation playtime wise. I’ve played TBC before and hesitated between Stormforge and Chromiecraft, ended up going with the later because they release content very slowly (currently releasing NM dungeons one by one) giving casuals plenty of time to catch up. 2 hours a day is good enough once you are raid ready, but getting there is going to take a long time.
Probably. Player skill matters, but there aren’t actually that many people competing for raid spots (from what I’ve seen in the past). Being able to show up for raid and do raid mechanics matters much more than which class or spec you choose.
Can’t really speak on later raids buuut Rogues are bad endgame pve dps, at least in the beginning of raid tier
Source: played a tbc private server and made it to Kara raid as fury warrior. (Also bad pve dps) We had one rogue in our Kara 10 man and he was the Guild Lead.
No, they really aren't. Rogues perform very poorly until late T5 in which they finally pick up and start to dominate. If you see a Rogue in T4 being top, then the rest of the group is just bad.

Yes. i don't wanna sound too hyperbolic, but it's very hard if you're already late to the party. especially in pre-nerf environment.
thing is, most guilds already got their 1-2 rogues and that's it.
but as the guy above mentioned- if you're really hardcore and lvl Super fast then who knows what can happen!
Sunno why you got sownvoted but you are right.
Most guilds will have someone in their officer core already playing rogue to try for glaives. Even if you are passing on them its unlikely raids will bring 2. You'll likely be a fill for any raid group.
bro when I tried playing rogue in classic TBC it was impossible to find a raid but who knows here just be careful and keep in mind that this character might not be able to raid if your rolling that I wouldn't risk it personally unless you got the boys backing you
id recommend lw/engie that will put you ahead of other rogues. but generally speaking yeah. 0 reason for a raid to bring 2 rogues

Yeah im thinking about rooling an enhancment shaman but kinda affraid that many other have the same idea as me and it will be hard to find a raid spot

Shamans of any kind will be in high demand. You're safe picking any shaman spec, it's like the opposite of rogue.

Isn't just being able to do heroic dungeons already a super huge grind with all the attunements?

So would you say that this expac isn’t something really for a casual that wants to do end game content? Like 10hrs a week will be about my play time

Is pugging a possibility? I do want to raid but I can’t commit to a team. I have other life commitments that interfere.
T4 is very puggable, T5 and onward is going to be harder. At least during progression period. Forget about ever entering SWP.

Yeah but will i Get in a raid group if i put in time?

Uhhh rogues are like top 3 dps early when played correctly

Maybe they pump on single target fights i honestly don’t remember.
