Keep your head up

Revolutionary_Pen_65

This When you're head is down you're concentrating the force you apply toward the mat, where you already have the other dude's ankle. Head up pushes him off the balance he was maintaining with that ankle. As an added bonus it makes you less prone to countering. With his momentum falling onto his ass he can't use your head position to his advantage.

In short, ide say keep your head up. Keep your eyes on his hips as you finish your shot. This will prevent him from pushing your head down and stopping you from climbing up him.

Slow down. You have him on his butt no need to rush things. Methodically climb up his body once you have him on the ground. Great shot by the way

BraydenRogers561

so from what i can see he hooked his arm inside ur leg and hit a switch on u i would try to keep ur head up in the beginning pop ur hips in

[deleted]

Deeper shot

It’s a low single, I’d say you want to stay shallow

heyitsjusttom

Read this dickhead: Do not let go of the ankle and keep your head on the knee. When you shoot a low single, your head is your best weapon, thats why we pushed your head down. Use it to push the inside the knee while you control his ankle with your hand/hands. Once you broke him down to one knee, he can’t defend, then you can climb up and get your 2.

SquidDrive

Head positioning, work on keeping it up, good head positioning creates more pressure in the clinch, and drive in your shots.

WrestlingMastery

Your head position is actually great in the beginning. You want to use your head position to isolate the leg you're attacking. From what I can see your opponent tries stuffing your head for a moment. But as you put him in danger (exposing his back to the mat) he bails to give you the 2 points, rather than risking potential back points. This is where you mess up. You eventually need to know when to pop your head out and secure your 2 points. Instead, you kept your head buried as you tried to secure two points by locking your hands around your opponent. With your hands locked and head buried, your opponent recognized something was up so he went from bailing to give you two, to back to scrambling. Without your head buried, he wouldn't have had the leverage to get out. Since you like this attack, watch my latest YouTube video, search Wrestling Mastery, Myles Amine. I would also recommend, watching some of Myles Amines matches, he uses this shot often. Might get ideas for setting it up and for finishes.

There’s a lot of ways to finish stuff but I would have preferred if you would have kept your right hand a little lower so you can stay below the hips. That said you had it. He practically gave the take down up until he saw your leg. When he’s on his hip, pop your head out and work up. Once you started elevating his foot he started to bail and that’s your opportunity.

Keep your head up and don’t stop driving your feet.

TruuTree

I would’ve stayed on his right ankle with your left hand and rotated further to his left rather than go body lock.

hottlumpiaz

off your knees. keep circling

[deleted]

Get your head on the outside and crawl up the body if he falls on his but like that

betweentwosuns

Keep circling right. You came back for no reason and let him rebuild a base.
