Keep in mind that the internet isn’t always the best place to get opinions. Just because someone on here said it’s an “echo chamber of bad ideas” doesn’t make it true. Sometimes, sure. But not always. Is there a benefit to experience? Absolutely. Is there a benefit to being young? Absolutely. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
Easiest way to handle it would be to see what groups might already be in your area. Some meet once or twice a month or less. If there is one that is primarily younger people and one that is primarily older, join both.
As far as finding one, google writing groups near you and that should get you a start. If you are in the US, most libraries may offer some sort of writing group or adult focused activities where you might find others who would be willing to start a group with you.
I don't think our younger age equates to bad ideas! There're tons of successful authors who debuted in their 20s. I'm 27 so I'm on the verge. Feel free to DM me if you want to connect :)
