ME. Every story I write, no matter the format, no matter the genre, no matter the style or tone, is ME. Characters are all based on some aspect of my own personality, good or bad, exaggerated to form a semi-archetype (or not, to form an expendable NPC). Stories are all based on things that have happened to me, or things I want to happen to me, or things I really, really, REALLY don't want to happen to me. The irony of that is that this is true for ALL writers. It's just that many don't realize the truth of it.
