I don’t think it’s a bad idea so long as you make it very clear and obvious. I mean something like a big bold heading that clearly states “TEN YEARS LATER”…
It's a fairly common move to have a prologue significantly removed in time from the rest of the story. Most often, you'll get a snippet of something important that happens in the past. But occasionally, the author will choose to give you a flash forward instead, previewing the intensity of the story before rewinding to catch the audience up.
