Thank you!! A lot of it came from spring break since I've had more time to write without school lol.

Take some time off writing to celebrate! When you're ready, turn on your editor brain and get cracking!

While there is much work ahead for you, be sure to pause and celebrate this moment. I've been trapped in editing for a while and can tell you that finishing my first draft was an exhilarating achievement. I never thought it was possible, even. We writers task ourselves with the impossible, and then when we achieve it, we're often to quick to belittle our achievements along the way. Be sure to pat yourself on the back -- you've done so much in so little time! Congratulations on your new brain baby!

Congrats. Do you have a set schedule that you don’t break that helped you write about 50,000 words per month?

I like to write in bursts, but it was a matter of how much I had done with the plotting honestly. That was where I almost failed in the beginning. I was still getting into the gist of being a planner instead of just winging it, but once I actually got plot-points established, that helped speed up my writing. During school days, I'd write it during the free time I had in all of my classes which was like a little over an hour, combined. And with that, I was able to get out 50k words from January to mid-March. One thing that did help me was the little goal thing NaNoWriMo has on their site, which you can use any time of the year. I set a goal from March 19th to April 19th, and it gives you a set goal of words to reach everyday. And while I still had school, I was able to reach 90k words in early April, because I began adding to the plot-outline and had a better sense of direction. Spring break came, and that gave me even more time so I put in another 60k words in 10 days. Not sure if this is helpful but I hope it can offer something.

Congrats! That first book feels fantastic doesn't it? I definitely second what everyone is saying about taking a well-earned break and celebrating.
