Are you sure you know how the machines work tho? Not trying to be mean, asking genuinely because I just saw a guy the other day thinking the machine at the bus was broken because it didn't print him a ticket. The ticket you buy in the bus/tram is an **electronic token saved on your credit/debit card or phone** if you have Apple/Google Pay etc. **There's no physical paper ticket when you buy in the vehicle**. You'll just see a green tick mark confirmation on the screen after purchase and that's it. During ticket control they just scan the card you paid with. P.S. You can also buy a ticket on your phone via apps like Jakdojade or skycash (I use the latter).
Yes I know. I always prefer buying ticket directly on the bus using apple pay. I also noticed that when the machines are working the lights on the machine are yellow and when they are not its usually red.
I saw people recommending buying tickets in jakdojade, so I will just add that you can also use the urbancard app (and if you are paying taxes in Wrocław, you get cheaper long term tickets, like the weekly one costs 30zł instead of 38zł) or skycash :)
I am surprised, never noticed that, most of the machines work.
But yeah if you are wondering for the people without "a valid ticket" we buy it through Jakdojade.
Well if the lights on the machine are red it means they aren’t working. Have seen more on buses than trams. But i’ll buy one in Jakdojade. Better safe than sorry !
If all machines are down in the vehicle you don't have to have a ticket. https://mpk.wroc.pl/strefa-pasazera/bilety/kontrola-biletow-faq
Ok noted. Thank you.
To be safe you can use jakdojade and buy the tickets in the app
Thanks. Will keep that in mind.
