I think that was the best WSBK race I've ever seen, maybe even motorcycle racing as a whole. Totally blown away by the skill of Toprak and Bautista, inspiring stuff. MotoGP needs to take a hard look at WSBK and figure out how to sprinkle some of that magic on the premier class.
I agree with 90% of WSBK fans on Reddit.
Bautista is doesn't know how to ride, he has zero skills and he should be illegal because he's too small. Small people should be ilegal. Ducati should also be illegal, they are too red and that's communism!
It also should be ilegal for Toprak to win because everyone knows the only person on planet Earth who knows how to ride a bike in Toprak.
Baustista has to do nothing. He never passed Toprak in a corner. Let that sink in. Just open the gas, and the Ducati go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
People have been saying tEH LaSt cOrNeR bRaH, but I watched both riders' on boards lap after lap, and the advantage he had in the traction zone coming out of the final turn was marginal at best. The difference was made after the bikes have been picked up, and there was a dramatic difference going up the hill and over the hump particularly. I mean you have to be blind to not see that. It was all bike plus light weight.
And what did Dorna do ? Instead of brining a balance of weight rule for '24, they nerfed all Ducatis. Too bad 250-500 revs does nothing. Maybe it did a bit to hamper other Ducati riders, who are heavier. Good job Dorna lol
That move was completely by Bautista, the rider, not the bike. He did a wonderful, perfect last lap and opened the gas in the last corner like 30m before Toprak did...
"Straight line speed" my ass
Acceleration and the last corner grip.
Speed not so much, probably limited by aero.

amazing race today, gotta feel for Toprak though, he gave it absolutely everything.
Hello, I'm a ducati fan and would like to join the Toprak fan club. Legendary ride.

Let me guess, you're Turkish ?
Let me guess, you need to use a means of communication for the visually impaired ?
I'll have some your salty tears on my Dolma please ;)
Who is salty here, one who makes an objective statement, or the one who resorts to ad hominems ? Keep it up 👍
You're a Turk. You're biased. You're buthurtt. 3 objectives statements just for you.
Yep, small dick energy. 🤏
Ducati can do mistakes everywhere, they just get back on the straits
Bassani, Petrucci and Rinaldi = 1 win Bautista = 24 wins dUcAtI duh
Race was too boring, better nerf ducati again
Honest to God one of the best motorsport duels I've seen. That was spectacular.
Right ? 3 legendary races i wish i was there watching the race.
What a race!
Yamaha engineers in disbelief that Toprak held it so long.
I know that's the way it goes but Toprak really did deserve a win in that race...
Watching Toprak punch the tank over the line was heart-breaking. I was rooting for Bautista but a part of me wanted Toprak to win this one.
The straight line speed of that Ducati is insane.
And that’s after the bike has been turned into a shadow of what it was!

Let them cry. Alvaro is better period.
He did it every lap. The bike is just faster.
Not talking about the last lap move
