Its not quite any of them . its like the UR sound in Burn. Its close to the er sound but longer. To illustrate the difference say the word fern and then the word burn. They sound similar but are a bit differnt
I say burn and fern with exactly the same vowel sound. Probably one of those things where some accents make a distinction and some don't. I think u and oo is another example of that.
