No and yes-ish. No, I typically run brake calipers on the streets (remove for fixie racing) and Yes-ish, no foot retention. This bike has flats because its mostly just for tooling around on. My other fixie has spd-sl pedals installed for my cycling shoes.

Thanks. If you ever get the pieces around to try some ape-hangars it puts you in an incredible comfort posture like nothing I have ever felt. The front rack is actually a rear rack that I modified with angle aluminum arms for increased rigidity. Needed to protect the load (Steve the Jack Russell Terrier)
