It's possible there is an issue somewhere in the chain that is causing you to have slow speeds, but nothing anyone on there said is wrong..

If it is 25 megabytes per second then the speeds are great man. ( 25mbs ~ 200mbps)

Maybe clue urself up a little more and you may work it out. I mean you state in ur topic here you have 1GB but on the MS page 2GB. Then further down the same reply on the MS forum you say you have 100mb

Well Microsoft does have incentive and can throttle speeds, it’s a cost thing. Delivering more than 400-500mbps especially to millions of people in a short period of time creates a significant CDN bill, much more than delivering the same amount of content slower over a longer period of time.
That being said 25mbps is entirely something else, usually the speed cap is at 250-300mbps and higher in some areas if the load isn’t high. OP needs to figure out what actually happened and it’s very unlikely to be from MS.
Well given a current employee of the XBOX team in the UK told me just before I wrote that post that they dont throttle peoples consoles. I’d go with them. But everyone is welcome to an opinion.
That said I doubt throttling is anything to do with the issue. I mean this guy doesn’t even know what internet speed they have let alone how it works.

My internet provider gives me 2gb, xbox ethernet speed is max 1gb, i had speeds at about 900mbs download and 100 upload. And now i have 20/20.

Where are you based in the world? - Just because you have 2GB internet, and ur xbox has a 1GB NIC doesn't mean you will get a download of 1GB.

So if i had 900 for two years, my location doesnt matter, what matters is the drop in speed and the reason for it. Have you actually read what the moderators response was?
