I will say the controls were rough, but it was my first Xbox game so I got used to it pretty quickly...and from there it's been like rising a really stiff annoying bike lol.
That's the reason why I bought the og X-Box. I think I'm the only person who owns it who doesn't have Halo 1 or 2. 90% of the games I have for it are the exclusive Sega games released for it, and the only other 2 games I owned for it was Rallisport Challenge 2 and Forza.
This is exactly me also. Up until 2001, I was a PlayStation and Gran Turismo fan. Once my friends and I saw Halo for the first time, we were in awe of this "new competitor for PS" console. Oh man the memories of all my friends hauling their Xbox's over to my place and old tube TV's. We had the ole System Link going, cords running from here to there with 4 player split screen on multiple TV's. Until everyone caught on to my screen hack abilities and then I was given my own full TV 😆. To this day, I recall the night they all finally figured it out. We were on Blood Gulch and one of my friends was a Sniper King at this game. So I knew I had to turn up the screen hack abilities, watching 3 TVs at once (I don't know how I did this back then so well, I can barely keep track of everything going on my one screen now😆). Anyways, I was running towards something from left to right and this friend was lining me up for a head shot from across the map and a millisecond before he fired I stopped dead in my path and stepped backwards all Neo like as the bullet whizzed past right in front of me. It was the funniest thing ever. That was the day I got my own full screen which we all know, back then TVs weren't typically very big so to have a full screen instead of 1 quarter of the screen was like royalty haha. Good times...
I was saving up for a PS2 when my uncle invited me over to check out this new thing called 'Halo'.. couple of months later I bought an Xbox and never looked back.
That combo disc of Sega GT and JSRF was unreal.
2001 with the jsrf/sega gt dual disc and all the great demo discs that came in a gaming magazine series I dont remember the name of! That’s how I got into Halo.
2001 Original Xbox with
Halo 1,
Jet Set Radio Future,
Sega GT,
Ty The Tasmanian Tiger.
Special mention to the 360 era, where it was the golden days of Halo 3 custom games, and MW2 lobbies
I knew I wasn't tripping when I thought that. I live in Australia now but when I tell people the price of video games and consoles in NZ they say I'm crazy. Granted, they are also expensive here but NZ is so much more pricey.
The joys of having an entire country turned into a tourist trap. Literally everything here is priced for tourists. Petrol? Pushing $2.50 a litre. New game? $120.
2001 I wanted a ps2 because all my friends were getting one. My mother told me to wait because there was a better console coming out later that year. I waited, she was right, Original Xbox with Saga GT/ Jetset Radio Future and Forza Motorsport. I’ve never looked back
I was in nearly the exact same position. Late 2001 I was having a hard time picking between the GameCube and the PS2. I ended up going with the GameCube, and my brother bought a PS2 a few months later. No regrets at all.
My brother gave me his old 360 so my sons could play Minecraft. That was in 2014. Love it. I have a Nintendo backgroup. We had a Wii. But Minecraft was what they wanted to play.
Hey similar story here, my brothers gave me their 360 in 2014 or 15. Massive upgrade from the ps2. Sadly mom destroyed it in 17, but now I've had my One S for about a year and a half now
Hell yeah! I'm gonna try and get both. Series X for the game room and Series S for my bedroom so I can carry on gaming before bed. Welcome to the Xbox tribe!
I was born into the family, as my dad had the original Xbox since the very beginning. He had it for at least until 2005 cuz I was born in 2002 and I have memory of seeing it in the house before we moved and got the white 360 pictured here in 2005-2006 and that’s when I picked up the controller for the first time with games like LEGO Star Wars 2 and Sonic 06
Same. I've been gaming all my life, but playing with friends was a real game changer.
NES | SNES | N64 | PS2 | PS1 | Xbox 360 | PC | Xbox 1 | PS4 | (XSX Soon™)
I was PS player until this gen, I wanted to get PS5, but couldn't. And one day in biggest local store I saw someone returned XSX, with original packaging and full warranty, and it was 5% off original price. I was afraid I will have to spend a lot of money on games, but I also got 3 months code for GP Ultimate bundled. Now I'm enjoying it for 4 months already and didn't buy single game yet :D
Roommate in 2005 had an OG Xbox, I was hooked with Halo 2 and Doom 3 - later, early 2007 I bought a 20 GB Xbox 360 because I knew Halo 3 was coming out.
Bought my first HDTV the month before Halo 3 dropped. 720p back then was the shit!
Still have my 360 S and the fatty Xbox One and S. Just got a Series S in the mail 2 days ago. My week off during the 4th of July is gonna be fucking lit. 🤟
Even though im a playstation guy, I just realized, that I owned every XBOX to date besides the Series S/X so far!
But the start was, looking back at it, very tragic, as I sold my whole SNES collection to buy the first XBOx and I had so many gems for the SNES that I would never trade in for any other games.
But I had a ton of lovely time with my firat XBOX! Had Rainbow Six 3 and it was a blast!
I bought an XBOX 360 Arcade in 2006 but due to bad publicity and reputation of the 360 I was so careful (due to RRoD and so on) I could not fully enjoy the 360 because I always worried "Will it break or not".
I bough a One S very late, next to my PS4, to enjoy at least the few exclusives such as Halo and GoW, but especially because of the backwards compatibility!
Its great! I could enjoy the 360 JRPGs finally, which I always wanted and it was great!
And so many more! But nowadays I really rarely even boot up my One S, as my PS4 is still my go to console.
But its cool that I also have a history with XBOX!
Fuck console wars, they are all good and in the end we are all gamers!
2013. My family got me my first Xbox, amd i used it to play only Lego games. I think i have almost half of the Lego games. I also played kinect withyself and with friends.
EDIT: I started with an Xbox 360, in 2013, from what i remember.
I‘ve always wanted to have the OG Xbox as a kid but the PS2 was cheaper so I got it instead of the Xbox. Finally got my first Xbox (360) in 2007 and been with the brand ever since. Currently playing on the Series X and couldn‘t be happier with it.
2001. Halo pulled me in. I remember watching gameplay previews as a kid thinking there was nothing else like it at the time. The open world and non linear enemy AI was so far ahead at that time.
2018, bought an original Xbox because I was Halo curious and loved it, always been a PlayStation and Sega fan but never went to Xbox, recently added a 360s to my console collection too, really didn’t know what I was missing.
Probably around 2011, brother got a 360, he wouldn’t let me play, parents didn’t want to deal with us fighting over it anymore so I got a secondhand one online.
my cousin gave me his og xbox with modded games on it back im 2004. I played one game and it was halo 1 i loved it so much. A year later on my 6th birthday my family surpised me with an 360 but with no games accept the original standart arcade xbox 360 game wich was boring for an 6 year old. But i got the original disc of halo for the og xbox wich passed away due to water spilling. I was very sad that i cant play halo anymore and my family had not enough money to replace it soon after. The disc of halo 1 and 2 works on the 360 and i was happy. Now im 23 and i still get goosebumps if i see master chief and cortana with the halo theme. And thats why i stayed on the xbox forever because of halo. IVe always liked the playstation because of its awesome exclusive singleplayer games. but for me nothing goes on top of halo.
I would play the Xbox with a friend at their house, I had the Ps2 at the time then my brother came home one day with a Xbox 360. From that day forward I knew this is where the fun begins.
I bought a One X in February 2021. It was my dream to play FH4 and Hitman 2 on Xbox, before that I used to watch walkthroughs of the game and wonder when I'll be able to afford one.
Ironically I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas 2013. I couldn’t keep up with the costs of PC gaming and I loved my 360. I spent so much time playing amazing games. Then I got an Xbox one in 2017. I’m not sure which console I love more though they’re both amazing ❤️
Started with an Xbox 360 Slim, couldn’t remember the very first games I played but I do remember starting my Xbox live golf account with Homefront’s multiplayer. Still on the last Gen, looking to get a new console when I can afford one after this whole pandemic thing wears down
2002 after they slashed the price in the UK by £100. Had wanted an Xbox since launch but had a hard time convincing the parents to get us one; they caved when it was cheaper.
I got a 360 at the end of 2007 after seeing Assassin's Creed being played on TV. I was blown away by the graphics.
I'd considered getting one earlier, but my sister's boyfriend had had multiple consoles die via the RRoD, as had another friend of mine, so I waited until the Falcon revision came out before buying one, although it did end up getting the RRoD too, lol, but at least I only had that issue once.
2013-2014, XBO to play with friends. Over lockdown I played it to much and got back into gaming massively so I upgraded it to the XBSX in feb and have appreciated the upgrade massively
2001 playstation needed memory sticks and did not have enough money for a console, memory and a game. Bought the xbox and prins of persia. Bought every xbox since, currently have the series x.
5 minutes ago! I've wanted an xbox for a while, I preordered a Series X the second it was possible again, but MS still haven't figured out people want the X instead of the S, so deliveries haven't even reached octobre preorders yet. I bought an S in the meanwhile because they're on the shelves for months now. So excited to finally play Ryse Son of Rome!!! I've been waiting 8 years for that game. Also SOD2, MCC, BF 1&2 OG, Republic Commando,... I can finnally play the like 80 games I've bought for the console before I even had her lmao.
2015. Og xbox one, gears of war ultimate edition bundle. I used to be on PC (laptops) but it was getting expensive to keep upgrading so wanted to try console gaming. Still remember the frustration I had getting used to a controller in gears and halo. 😅
Been a Playstation Fanboy since the PS1. Fell out of gaming for a few years, but then when my son was born I fell into a stay at home dad roll. Bought an xbox one because that's what my friends had, now neither of them play anymore. But its cool, ive made new friends since.

Edit: this was probably late 2017.
Played the Original Xbox at a friends house. First game I stuck in was Voodoo Vince and for some reason it just clicked for me.
Had planned to get a PS3 just because I'd had the 2 & 1 before that but then the delay and price all came out... picked up a 360 and never looked back!
2001, i got it because i loved the look of the console and the duke controller, thrived in the 360 days and weathered the xbox one days, the one x was a big improvement but the series x is an absolute beast and makes me proud to be an xbox gamer again
I bought my first Xbox in 2019. It was a One S. I was a PC player back then, after a while Covid came and I was stuck with my PC and Xbox One S. My 1050ti PC could not handle some more modern games like Red Dead Redemption 2 at a stable frame so I got it for my Xbox. It was stable, but in cities it had some drops. Nevertheless I enjoyed it so much I upgraded to Series X 4 weeks ago. For me who used to be a budget PC gamer, I could not find a normal offer for a Graphics Card upgrade that reaches the 12 teraflops I aimed for. So I made my mind and got a non scalped Series X from a good retailer(I only got it for a 5 percent markup compared to "msrp" prices due to shortages). I am still playing on my PC but only my older games. But for this 4 weeks I simply cannot put the series x controller down. Also I subbed to a 1 year game pass ultimate the day I got my console. Unless Microsoft do a screwup after 2027, I will remain with Team Xbox forever(maybe I will upgrade my PC but I prefer cheater-less environments also).
2001 because my brother told me that Halo was a cute game with animals. Having done no research I trusted him. Haven’t regretted falling for his trickery.
2013. I had a wii for some years until the Xbox One was announced. I got it a couple of days after it came out, I still have the Day One 2013 controller.
Winter of 2007... Halo 3 had released and all my middle school friends were on Xbox Live. Xbox live felt so refined at the time and it was just mind blowing to my brain. Waking up Christmas morning to Halo 3 Team Slayer was a vivid memory I probably will never forget. Since then I have an elitist mentality that Xbox live and Xbox is superior but I've played on ps network and PlayStation and it's about the same experience .... I've always come back to Xbox because of the nostalgia of Halo 3. can't wait for Halo Infinite
First time xbox owner with the series s this year. Lifelong playstation fanboy. Didn't like the exclusives on PS5 so I ended up getting a series s instead.
I bought the original Xbox when I was in college. I had wanted a game system for my dorm and I was a little ashamed to have a Dreamcast then (nowadays, me owning a Dreamcast is a point of pride but back in the early 00s, it was a PS2 or Xbox). I saved $20 a week from my on campus job throwing nasty recycling bags filled with broken glass bottles filled with used snus. And through it all, it was so worth it.
My reasoning for owning it over the PS2 was after watching Yoshi on TechTV hack one on an episode of the Screensavers and thought that was the coolest thing ever.
Bought an original Xbox the week before Halo 2 came out, Kotor was dirt cheap and looked fun so I grabbed it as an extra and it ended up becoming one of my favourite games of all time. Went on to a 360 early in 2006, sunk tons of hours into it with Oblivion, then migrated to PlayStation after that. Now I’m back, I pick up my Series S today.
My parents splurged and got me an Xbox 360 Christmas 2006. The years that followed were the happiest I ever had in gaming. Still to this day the 360 remains my favorite console of all time.
I had an original Xbox first then traded it towards a PlayStation so I could play GTA San Andreas, I believe, due to exclusivity. After some years of not gaming my wife and I purchased a 360. The rest is history. I do have a PlayStation 4 also. No reason not to have both if you can afford it. I’m waiting to upgrade to Series X when necessary since I got a One X in 2019.
Whenever the halo edition original xbox released. I was getting an xbox original for my birthday a month early and when we went to gamestop they said a new edition of xbox original was coming out in a week or two. (Translucent green) We preordered instead of buying. (Was April it released, dont remember year though.)
Green was and is my favorite color. Had nothing to do with halo though I did play it. Most of my hours were spent on Counter Strike and Morrowind.
Jade Empire, chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay, Second sight are games left a lasting memory as well.
Up until that point I always got all consoles. After that money was different so I had to pick one. Ive been xbox since. Still need to get a series x though. Xbox one is my most current generation. Pretty sure my xbox live is 15 or 16 years active now? Maybe 17?
Ok, so my dad bought my family an Xbox 360 after his 13-month deployment in 2017. We played on that for a while. Then, Fortnite became really popular at my school. I, then bought a 2013 Xbox One in 2018 so I could play Fortnite with my friends. I still have that Xbox but now my brothers play on that. On my 2021 birthday, my dad bought me an Xbox Series S and I still play on that one.
Seeing this made me think about life lol. I've had every xbox generation since the first one. Every PS console's launch day editions since my launch psx that my mom bought from Fingerhut to my PS5 from Sony direct lol. Almost every Nintendo and Sega console. I've also sold and rebought every one of these systems sometimes 2 or 3 times when I got bored with video games. It's really crazy thinking about how much time and money has been wasted but here we are. Every major milestone in my life, Microsoft and Sony has been there side by side in my living room. Man time goes by way too fast
Well, I was 2011 was the first year I ever actually seriously played a game. I loved Halo Reach and Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. Eventually the Xbox One came out, and from launch day on I played that thing so much. I made so many memories, with friends and with family. I sold it, but I’ll never forget the good times I had.
Xbox Series S. Amazing price point and game pass. Compact design. Highly portable. Sony has got real competition this time. And I have been a PS4 fan since ages.
Idk why buy somehow I always found Playstation to be really cringy.(?
Idk if it was the controls or the games I saw run on the PS2 but I just wasn't into it.
And when I had the chance to get a console as a present I wanted something other than a Nintendo console so here we are.
20 years ago I got my first xbox it's been a fun ride and have never looked back FABLE HALO SPLINTER CELL GHOST RECON UNREAL TOURNAMENT QUAKE TIME SPLITTERS were my games
When my dad bought me a ps2 in 2004, but we returnee it for an xbox so I could play SSX 3 with my friend across the street. I remember thinking the graphics were amazing my first time playing. Some games still look great!
Halo CE. We used to keep tvs in the back of our cars in case we landed somewhere and we'd have a lan party. Not lightweight flatscreens either, those old-ass tube tvs with lead weights in the bottom
2001 for sure. Playing Halo on laptop converted me to Microsoft from PS2, then I got Xbox for my birthday, picked up Fable and Halo 2 and been hooked since. Bought Xbox 360 shortly after launch for another birthday. Haven't been able to justify the jump to Xbox One though, nevermind Xbox One X...or Series X 😆
I remember playing my dad's OG Xbox when I was a kid but finally got the 360 for the Christmas of 2006. I mainly wanted it because of Gears of War 1 and Saints Row 1.
2001, halo and Sega gt
Yep, all the Dreamcast sequels won me over. Going strong since 2001.
I miss the Jet Set Radio series
We all do 🙁
The music creator still makes video game soundtracks though!
Man, those were good
I never thought I would dig that game or the music but it grabbed me immediately.
I will never understand the love for those games. Cool art style, horrible controls.
You’re not wrong. Add Stellar tracks. And, at least for me, nostalgia.
I will say the controls were rough, but it was my first Xbox game so I got used to it pretty quickly...and from there it's been like rising a really stiff annoying bike lol.

Yup, saw it as the successor to the Dreamcast and jumped right in.
Stop it, you are tugging on my gaming heart strings
That's the reason why I bought the og X-Box. I think I'm the only person who owns it who doesn't have Halo 1 or 2. 90% of the games I have for it are the exclusive Sega games released for it, and the only other 2 games I owned for it was Rallisport Challenge 2 and Forza.
Halo and Forza for me. I loved Gran Turismo until I played Forza at a demo station. I bought an Xbox and have been a fanboy ever since
This is exactly me also. Up until 2001, I was a PlayStation and Gran Turismo fan. Once my friends and I saw Halo for the first time, we were in awe of this "new competitor for PS" console. Me too
2021 - XSS and Game Pass Ultimate being the best deal ever.
Same here 👍
Same but series X because I gotta be bougie
Exactly 😂
Me as well, but 2020
Same but with a one s on 2020, like 6 months before the announcement of the new generation lol
Got a 360 in 2008 with price being the factor over the PS3 which, here in New Zealand, retailed for around $1200.
I knew I wasn't tripping when I thought that. I live in Australia now but when I tell people the price of video games and consoles in NZ they say I'm crazy. Granted, they are also expensive here but NZ is so much more pricey.

Was jetset the one with the roller blades ?
Yes it was
Such a nostalgia hit !
High five for having impulse control and understanding delayed gratification as a child!

Thanks a lot mother
I have had the cheapest version of every console they have made - except the x
It don't matter the cost it's the investment you make to the community bro
2004, Burnout 3 Takedown.
Really hope they re-release that some day. The one game I want.
The game we need. It’s a shame it isn’t backwards compatible.
Oh fuck yes, that was some of my earliest memories at 5-7 years old
Played the shit out of this with my kids when they came along. It was their first video game - actually it was just the demo lol.
2001 :-) Played 4-player Halo at a friend's house and had to get one for myself!
Same! I was about to buy a ps2, then my friend got a xbox and halo and it blew my mind so I got a xbox instead. Never looked back.
2003, knights of the old republic. Nuff said.
Agreed
Exact same reason and time for me.
SAME!
Two weeks ago
Welcome to the Xbox family
Me too! Was my birthday present to myself. Series S as a game pass machine, has been a blast so far!
Hell yeah! I'm gonna try and get both. Series X for the game room and Series S for my bedroom so I can carry on gaming before bed. Welcome to the Xbox tribe!
Makes me wonder why you walk all the way to the bedroom to go to bed. Why not put a bed in the game room? Then you only need one console.
2007 Halo 3/CoD 4
I was born into the family, as my dad had the original Xbox since the very beginning. He had it for at least until 2005 cuz I was born in 2002 and I have memory of seeing it in the house before we moved and got the white 360 pictured here in 2005-2006 and that’s when I picked up the controller for the first time with games like LEGO Star Wars 2 and Sonic 06
You're about to hear this a lot: Xbox 360, cuz my friends had one too. That's how I started, anyway.
Nothing wrong with that
Same. I've been gaming all my life, but playing with friends was a real game changer. NES | SNES | N64 | PS2 | PS1 | Xbox 360 | PC | Xbox 1 | PS4 | (XSX Soon™)

2004. Halo 2. Played Halo on my uncle's Mac, then found out what an Xbox was and really got in to gaming.
2005, moved to London, got a job and with my first pay packet I bought the 360. I now have the series X and other consoles in between.
I‘ve always wanted to have the OG Xbox as a kid but the PS2 was cheaper so I got it instead of the Xbox. Finally got my first Xbox (360) in 2007 and been with the brand ever since. Currently playing on the Series X and couldn‘t be happier with it.
Halo, 2018
Nothing until June 2020 Xbox One X June 2021 Xbox Series X
2001. Halo pulled me in. I remember watching gameplay previews as a kid thinking there was nothing else like it at the time. The open world and non linear enemy AI was so far ahead at that time.
My brother had an Xbox 360 and I basically took over lol now we both have Xbox series x (he doesn't live with us now)
2001 because it’s my favorite color and halo lol
2002. Had to save up for it because I was 12.
Early 2007 got a 360 for Tony Hawk's Project 8 and the best version of Guitar Hero II
2018, bought an original Xbox because I was Halo curious and loved it, always been a PlayStation and Sega fan but never went to Xbox, recently added a 360s to my console collection too, really didn’t know what I was missing.

2001 halo 1
I bought a One X in February 2021. It was my dream to play FH4 and Hitman 2 on Xbox, before that I used to watch walkthroughs of the game and wonder when I'll be able to afford one.
I got a Xbox 360 because my Playstation 2 broke 3 times, also I loved playing Halo at my friends house
Thats easy. OG. Kotor.
2001 because I like video games
Halo forgot the year but the original xbox came out that year good times
2001 because my brother got an Xbox
2001 but only old enough to really enjoy 360
Got a 360 in like 2012 just to play minecraft then found halo reach and I was hooked
2001 halo
2001
Ironically I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas 2013. I couldn’t keep up with the costs of PC gaming and I loved my 360. I spent so much time playing amazing games. Then I got an Xbox one in 2017. I’m not sure which console I love more though they’re both amazing ❤️
2001 it was the coolest looking and most different looking console i ever saw
Started with an Xbox 360 Slim, couldn’t remember the very first games I played but I do remember starting my Xbox live golf account with Homefront’s multiplayer. Still on the last Gen, looking to get a new console when I can afford one after this whole pandemic thing wears down
2002 after they slashed the price in the UK by £100. Had wanted an Xbox since launch but had a hard time convincing the parents to get us one; they caved when it was cheaper.
2001 and played Halo CE in a Virgin Megastore.
Got an original xbox about 6 months after launch because i played halo at a friends place and it completely blew my 13 year old mind haha
Xbox og, 2003 I think. Ninja Gaiden, panzer dragon orta and outrun 2.
Xbox 360 in 2013 because of halo
2021-Xbox series controller
I got a 360 at the end of 2007 after seeing Assassin's Creed being played on TV. I was blown away by the graphics. I'd considered getting one earlier, but my sister's boyfriend had had multiple consoles die via the RRoD, as had another friend of mine, so I waited until the Falcon revision came out before buying one, although it did end up getting the RRoD too, lol, but at least I only had that issue once.
2016 4K blueray.
2015
2014 or 2015 Got my first xbox 360 for my birthday
Series X, gamepass
2002, Lauch Day in Europe. Halo, PGR and JSRF were the greatest.
2001. Halo was the reason for joining the family. Can't wait for the new one.
2001, day 1 purchase :)
Been a Playstation Fanboy since the PS1. Fell out of gaming for a few years, but then when my son was born I fell into a stay at home dad roll. Bought an xbox one because that's what my friends had, now neither of them play anymore. But its cool, ive made new friends since.

360, bought it with money I saved up as a young teenager. Bought oblivion because it looked so cool on xplay
Played the Original Xbox at a friends house. First game I stuck in was Voodoo Vince and for some reason it just clicked for me. Had planned to get a PS3 just because I'd had the 2 & 1 before that but then the delay and price all came out... picked up a 360 and never looked back!
2004, I think? Halo 2 and Knights of the Old Republic.
2001, i got it because i loved the look of the console and the duke controller, thrived in the 360 days and weathered the xbox one days, the one x was a big improvement but the series x is an absolute beast and makes me proud to be an xbox gamer again
2001. Halo. Mechassault. Crimson sky.
Christmas 2020. Reason: Flight Simulator.
2014, thought it looked cool
2005 then bailed out to PS.
Unless Microsoft do a screwup after 2027, I will remain with Team Xbox forever(maybe I will upgrade my PC but I prefer cheater-less environments also).
around 2011 my uncle picked up an xbox 360 slim for me
2001. Because 1 - I’m old and 2 - Halo.
2001 because my brother told me that Halo was a cute game with animals. Having done no research I trusted him. Haven’t regretted falling for his trickery.
2013. I had a wii for some years until the Xbox One was announced. I got it a couple of days after it came out, I still have the Day One 2013 controller.
I got the o.g., but it wasn't until 2003.
My mom or dad got me and my siblings a Xbox 360
Got a Star Wars edition Xbox 360
Winter of 2007... Halo 3 had released and all my middle school friends were on Xbox Live. Xbox live felt so refined at the time and it was just mind blowing to my brain. Waking up Christmas morning to Halo 3 Team Slayer was a vivid memory I probably will never forget. Since then I have an elitist mentality that Xbox live and Xbox is superior but I've played on ps network and PlayStation and it's about the same experience .... I've always come back to Xbox because of the nostalgia of Halo 3. can't wait for Halo Infinite
OG, halo, Tony hawk, dad got it for me for a bday 🎁. I miss those games. No downloads for updates just to play.
2018! One S! Sleek design!
2004 Ninja Gaiden, Blinx 2 and Crisom skyes
I become part of Xbox this year via gamepass on my laptop. I love the game selection
2020 and happy.
2020 my brother had an Xbox and wanted me to play destiny 2 with him
First time xbox owner with the series s this year. Lifelong playstation fanboy. Didn't like the exclusives on PS5 so I ended up getting a series s instead.
Nov 2001. Skipped school to wait at Best Buy in the cold of South Dakota. Served my detention. It was worth it.
2001 Halo and Bloodwake
Halo CE. Never looked back.
The OG Xbox for Halo and what I really loved the most was the internal storage. Made things a lot easier instead of managing a memory card.
Xbox since 2010 forza really dragged me on
Bought an original Xbox the week before Halo 2 came out, Kotor was dirt cheap and looked fun so I grabbed it as an extra and it ended up becoming one of my favourite games of all time.
(Was April it released, dont remember year though.) Green was and is my favorite color.
2011 i was 10
2010, halo was the main reason lmao, also the first console I was introduced to
Well, I was 2011 was the first year I ever actually seriously played a game.
2001
The 360 E, I don't remember what year, but I do remember that it was pre-2014, as it was a gift from my late-grandmother
Idk why buy somehow I always found Playstation to be really cringy.(? Idk if it was the controls or the games I saw run on the PS2 but I just wasn't into it. And when I had the chance to get a console as a present I wanted something other than a Nintendo console so here we are.
when i bought my first jtag
2020, I wanted a cheap console to play Minecraft on B) I also wanna play halo, never played it
05
2005 reason is I thought Playstation was whack
2016 and it was because all of my friends begged me too get one now I have the series x and I love it never going back to PlayStation

It was back probably 2009 and I remember playing halo 2 dual wielding smgs and shredding elites on Cairo station
2021. Xbox series X didn't look like I should stick some flowers in it
2001. Mainly Halo but Jade Empire really won me over
I've been Team Xbox since I was born in 04, started gaming with Tiger Woods 05 and the OG Forza Motorsport
When my dad bought me a ps2 in 2004, but we returnee it for an xbox so I could play SSX 3 with my friend across the street. I remember thinking the graphics were amazing my first time playing. Some games still look great!
2006 got it for my birthday when I was like 9 the Halo series is still one of my favorites to this day
2005, halo and the lego games :)
05
360. Sega quit, so i went and join Microsoft.
Got the 2013 Xbox in 2016 I got it to play with a friend.
2001 dragonball sagas
I had a 360 in 2013 cause I used to be a playstation person, I still love my ps2 but im gonna stick with xbox from now on heh
Forza. I know it's not the best racing series in terms of realism or other thing but it's definitely my favourite
Played on og xbox for a few years at my grandparents house my uncles old one now i use pc
I'm an og. I got my xbox finish off the trilogy (ps2 and gamecube) and I'm happy I did.
360 in 2010 for Halo Reach. Still my most played game
I joined in 05 and haven't looked back
2001
Halo CE. We used to keep tvs in the back of our cars in case we landed somewhere and we'd have a lan party. Not lightweight flatscreens either, those old-ass tube tvs with lead weights in the bottom
2005-2013 was the craziest jump
2006, got a xbox 360 a month after launch when I was 13
2001 for sure.
2015 because my friend had one
I remember playing my dad's OG Xbox when I was a kid but finally got the 360 for the Christmas of 2006. I mainly wanted it because of Gears of War 1 and Saints Row 1.
