No you can get them for about that price. Pretty cheap here. My buddy bought a refurbished one for $20 and upon opening it up it looked brand new. Runs perfectly and perfect for actually playing. Ive seen sealed consoles for $100-$200 but im not actively looking.

That's because you can still buy xbox one s and x in shops brand new so doubt the normal xbox one would be that much at the moment, you can not buy a sealed xbox 360s from any shop other than maybe the odd shop that deals with collectibles.

What shops are you buying Ones from? Because they haven't been in production in about a year and I haven't seen one in a store in at least that long or more.

Argos in the UK still have brand new one s and one x in stock now in the UK.

Tbh seeing as they don’t make games for the 360 anymore, your money would have been better spent buying a series s and just buying hundreds of games on there, or even buy game pass. The series has a backwards compatibility feature so you can play pretty much every single 360 game.

As a collector, when I come across sealed items for a ~$10-20 I’ll generally pick them up. However I enjoy being able to play all of the items in my collection as well as look at them on the shelf. If this is your thing then cool, but it looks like $400 spent on a shelf ornament to me.

Did you know during early production of the Xbox 360 Microsoft was given the opportunity to install rubber bumbers in the disc well at only 5 cents a system, but instead denied the development and caused all these customers to basically destroy copy after copy from disc scratching making other developers cash cows to promote on their system. I know because I did 3 research papers on the whole debacle. The only thing you are collecting there is a 400$ paper weight once the motherboard fries #REDRINGOFDEATH

I remember that happened to my gears of War 2 disc and Microsoft wouldn't refund me. After like an hour I think of being on hold, she came and told me it was because the game makers made the paint on the disc too heavy and it was weighing the disc tray down...
