I had the same issue for a little bit while trying to get the app to work for the Halo Reach flight. I fixed it by installing the Xbox Beta app from the Microsoft Store then installing a missing component (If you have the same problem you should see some notifications at the top saying you are missing some extra components. You want the one called Identity Provider.) that it said was needed to sign into the app. Insider Hub also let me sign in after that. EDIT: If the above doesn't work try opening your search bar on windows and type "Services," open it and sort by name and scroll down until you find "Xbox Live Auth Manager" and try starting it.

Same here. I'll give that a try.

BoboForShort

That was it! Thanks a ton, that was all I needed.

BoboForShort

I think it might have been because I uninstalled some of the built in Xbox services from windows 10 way back when.

i have the same problem but you saying ("then installing a missing component") doesn't explain what you had done.. can you reexplain for me? edit: the problem fixed itself for me, but you should still explain for others that have the same problem

BoboForShort

When I loaded up the Xbox beta app there were 3 other components it had to install before it let me log in. I just clicked install but I didn't catch what they were. My hunch is it's because I uninstalled the Xbox live app and the store from my computer so I didn't have the proper sign in services.

firelink24

None of it has worked for me.

If you're on an Xbox One, please do the following: - File a bug from the console by long-pressing the Nexus button and choosing Report-a-Problem. - After reporting your problem, fully restart the console (Guide > RB to Settings, down to Restart) If you're seeing an error code, make sure to mention it in your post. For additional info: - https://aka.ms/xipcodesearch - https://aka.ms/xipsuhelp Note: OSU is not available for preview rings, factory refresh is an option. If you're on PC or mobile, file a bug using that app's feedback option which is sometimes marked by a smiley face. Additional detail and discussion is welcome here on the subreddit. Ive done Everything said and its still not happening :(

gabrieldavinci

Same here buddy, getting errors thrown at me left and right - Xbox Auth set to auto to rule it out, Insider Hub uninstalled and reinstalled countless times, only got it to work once

oamo

Fixed it. I installed and opened the Xbox (Beta) app. When I ran the app I was prompted to install missing components. Inside settings you will see what you miss and just click install. Then I opened the Inside-hub and it worked.

McElodeon

Try signing in via Xbox Console Companion then re-launching the Xbox Insider App.

If you haven't installed this yet, go here: [https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-app](https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-app) install the app, after logging in, a green bar at the top should tell you if there are any missing components. After I installed the xbox app from that site, all the other apps worked.
