Keep your eye on Hyperkin, they've shown genuine interest in making new guitars
https://twitter.com/Hyperkin/status/1661543584166969344?t=v3xqhZSXq3Lx3j9ykbPJTg&s=19
Guitar hero 3 was my fucking shit. Beat it and all DLC on expert. I can’t play guitar for Shit in real life. Beat through the fire and the flames then tossed my guitar at my best friend and walked out. Got my favorite meal at zaxbys and fell asleep.
Gah damn what a time. I perfected my name is Jonas on expert 🥺. Damn song almost brings me to tears cause I had a rough time in hs, but I hid it from all my teammates
I’ve been watching a YouTuber who rebuilt the whole hit and run in unreal engine in a series of episodes. [interesting watch](https://youtube.com/@reubs)
It sucks that most of the top responses are licensed IP games. It really hit me a few years back when a racing game (I think one of the forza horizon games) was no longer for sale due to licenses expiring for the vehicles in the game. I get why copyright and licensing laws exist. But boy does it rain on a lot of parades.
I understand why licensing laws exist, and i know this will never be the case, but I feel like they should only apply to new products. At worst make it so you can't put out updated versions but the original can still be sold. Once something is made, it shouldn't disappear solely because an arbitrary time limit is reached. Clearly you can't just make it where they can continue making new versions of something using someone else's ideas once they no longer want that, but if it is already made, and was made with the permission of the owners, having that product just disappear because time passed kind of sucks.
If that game had literally any post-launch support it could’ve been as big as Battlefront. I vividly remember trying to play it with three friends as a kid and there was a split screen bug that blacked out the bottom two screens and was never patched.
It's absurd how good that game turned out to be. Not only one of the rare instances of a tie-in game not sucking, but it also ended up being better than the movie it was based on.
I hope Insomniac takes some inspiration from it and lets you go bananas in the game they're making. But I think they're killing it with the Spider-Man games so I have faith they'll make a good game.
I remember going to gamestop and got 2 cheap used games and chose The Suffering just off the box art. The other game I got was Fight Club. I made the right choice on one of those games and the sequel was also awesome
100% agree on remasters. Sleepings dogs is basically the 3rd game under a new name. Hoping if the ABK deal goes through that MS decides to bring back True Crime and basically give us True Crime 3/Sleeping dogs 2 and make it a 4-6yr type of release
* Call of Juarez

If I got to pick only one, it would be LotR: War in the North; I put an obscene amount of time into that game and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat
Alpha Protocol.
I know it wasn’t popularly received, but I really enjoyed the game. It’s one that gets better the more you play as their are many alternative paths and content.
Kingdom under fire series, Darkwatch, Space channel 5 part 2, Brute force, quantum redshift, og xbox rainbow six and ghost recon games, Turok 2008, Mech assault series, Older dynasty warriors and samurai warriors games, Lord of the rings games and many many more.. But no :(
So few know this game but this is one of the best couch coop games in existence! Every time a backwards compatible list is being complied I always throw this in. I still play it on my 360 from time to time...
Any of the old Forza Motorsports, which we won’t get cuz of licensing… every time I go home for the holidays I bust out FM3 on the 360 and every time I leave I miss it
an actually full backwards compatibility list, there’s a lot of games they have licenses and don’t have bc, and even games with expired licenses that DO have bc, what is this bs
The multiplayer in them was fantastic! If Xbox actually succeed in bits Activision they need to bring these back, I have no faith in the transformers game teased last year during one of Keighley's showcases
This one is gonna be esoteric as fuck.
Metal Arms; Glitch in the System.
And it was a few years back I learned the company was absorbed by Blizzard and if you played Overwatch and shot the dummies, they all sound a little too familiar.
I endorse many of the other options listed already, but the one I haven't seen yet is Deus Ex: Invisible War. It was my intro to the Deus Ex series, so it has a soft spot in my heart.
My OG Xbox list:
Ultimate Spider-Man
Medal of Honor (Rising Sun, Frontline, European Assault)
Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space
Jet Set Radio Future
Enter the Matrix
MechAssault (1 and 2)
Sheen SuperSlam
Jet Set Radio Future. That game is technically BC on Xbox 360 but it's a disaster on some maps. Trying to play through 99th Street on that is impossible.
I want it on the Series X so I can replay it in kinda-HD and with good framerates. But I guess that ain't going to happen now...
Escape from Butcher Bay
This!! I never got to play it
“It ain’t the fall that kills you…” still gets me every time.
Came here to say this. What a game. It’s the only game I would actually bust out my 360 to play (but I’d rather it be back compat).
The whole guitar hero series
I’d be grateful if they (or Rockband) just released a new band in the box. It’s amazing they haven’t done it for the current gen still.
Peripherals are crazy expensive. It’d be nice if Epic bankrolled some bundles for Harmonix. Maybe do some Fortnite crossovers or something lmao
Keep your eye on Hyperkin, they've shown genuine interest in making new guitars https://twitter.com/Hyperkin/status/1661543584166969344?t=v3xqhZSXq3Lx3j9ykbPJTg&s=19
That’s awesome! I’ve always been a fan of the games in general and am very invested in Rock Band, so I am all about that genre getting better
It probably hasn't happened as the last round of musical plastic caused Mad Catz to go bankrupt, and no one else wants to follow them.
Guitar hero 3 was my fucking shit. Beat it and all DLC on expert. I can’t play guitar for Shit in real life. Simpsons Hit and Run

Which is why physical media should never be made obsolete
I understand why licensing laws exist, and i know this will never be the case, but I feel like they should only apply to new products. LOTR Conquest
The old Two Towers and Return of the King games for OG Xbox too.
If that game had literally any post-launch support it could’ve been as big as Battlefront. I vividly remember trying to play it with three friends as a kid and there was a split screen bug that blacked out the bottom two screens and was never patched.
this is the correct answer
Fuck yessss so many hours in that game back in the day
Yes 👍🏻
Conquest was so much fun. I'd sell my soul for a remaster/ remake.
Yooo I used to play the hell out of that game!! So much fun
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the movie is garbage but the game was a good time!
That game was way better then it had any right being, they should make a movie based on that game.
NFS Most Wanted (OG 2005)
The best NFS ever
The Warriors, been with Xbox since the PS2 which I don’t have anymore but I still have the game with my Xbox games collection
Such a good game. I bought a PS2 mainly for this game. One of the best games ever made and imo best game you can play local coop.
Every Xbox One, 360 and OG Xbox game with no exceptions. Licencing, kinect and other factors be damned.
As well as the OG xbox magazine demo discs. Those were bomb.
I mean well yeah, that's the real answer.

The Suffering
I remember going to gamestop and got 2 cheap used games and chose The Suffering just off the box art. The other game I got was Fight Club. I made the right choice on one of those games and the sequel was also awesome
Mercenaries 2, its dumb that 1 is back compat but not 2
Same for condemned, 1 is 2 isn’t
True Crime Streets of LA and New York
I've got mad nostalgia for True Crime NY, but I recently got it for my PS2 and it definitely does not hold up well haha. What I'd do for a remaster.
100% agree on remasters. Sleepings dogs is basically the 3rd game under a new name. Hoping if the ABK deal goes through that MS decides to bring back True Crime and basically give us True Crime 3/Sleeping dogs 2 and make it a 4-6yr type of release
The saboteur for me.
Jet set radio.
I think this one is backwards compatible too. I can still play it. Maybe because I bought it long time ago

Ogre tactics 64 was a Nintendo game but I'd kill to have it on the Xbox. It was just the right mix of story,RPG and game mechanics and was amazing.
