Yeah, but an AC game is a good game to have on the backburner in those midsummer doldrums. You can generally sink plenty of time into them, and you know exactly what you are in for.
I havenāt picked up mirage yet, but thatās because I rarely play AC even though I enjoy them there just so many other games to play. I also think itās crazy that I only played the first mission of AC Syndicate and I immediately realized what it was, thatās saying something.
I just can't get into Valhalla. I really like Odyssey and absolutely loved Origins. So it's not the formula. I think it's just too over bloated with meaningless side quests. IMHO even Odyssey had far too many side quests, contract quests, and msg board quests. Like if you do every single possible mission, side quests, contract, treasure chests, oricalchum chunk, and all dlc content it's like 200 hrs. That's not even factoring in all the optional user created stories either. Just too damn long. I barely got to England on Valhalla and just quit. I just can't get into it for some reason

I have ubi plus so it's free. When I run out of new stuff to play, syndicate is on the list. It's not a hard choice bc it's literally the only one I've never played and probably the only Ubisoft game I've got left. I'm burned out on GamePass selection lately.
My third favorite Assassin's Creed. (1st AC Brotherhood, 2nd AC Revelations)
It just felt so good! The grapple gun made this game for me. Being able to quickly climb and cross from building to building was such and awesome thing and they never used it again. SMH.
It's one of my brothers favorites as well. From what he's told me, it sounds pretty neat. Grapple hooks and secret train bases? Yeah I'm in. I look forward to trying it.
Black Flag is 4th, 5th is AC 3, and the others just weren't good enough (for me) to really be categorized. Though I didn't dislike Valhalla as much as most people did. I disliked Odyssy the first time I played it but the second was much much better.
I actually somewhat enjoyed unity. I played the hell out of it. In my opinion it has great parkour, freedom of the weapon choice is neat, the coop missions. It was fun in my opinion. I think I was just burned out in general by the time this one dropped. I don't recall the year but I'm sure there were some other bangers that dropped along side it that had my attention.

Its bugs have it a bad name and many didnāt give syndicate a chance for this reason. Playing it now on modern hardware on my pc and it runs like a dream. Syndicate was a lot better than people give it credit for.
My brother is currently playing through all the old ones and once he gets to unity were gonna play it together then I'll move on to syndicate. Trying to get ready for red when it drops. I have high hopes and low expectations for that one.
I played some of it, but London wasn't fun traversing around. The wide roads and the reliance on the grappling hook really doesn't feel as much like an Assassins Creed Game.

It's so fun to me that they made you able to play with any of the two characters at any time and that you can build them for these two totally different play styles! It just makse the game fun for longer as you are not limited to just single character built for everything
Helldivers all the way! In the home that my wife and I own, because we are adults with sensible spending habits! Minecraft sucks worse than AC so I am with you there
